"Staff, housekeeping surpassed hotel itself"
The staff, friendly and helpful. Towels were clean. Rug, bedding, bathroom and sink area were clean. Felt sorry for the cleaning staff as their work was very good: but the room itself wasn't. Nor the upkeep of the hotel. The Hotel needs a 'facelift'. Room was dreary. Air conditioner was noisy, and filter was filthy. We both woke up with sinus headaches. […] Curtain obstructed air conditioner so had to loop curtain ever itself to get any air. Furniture worn, outdated. Toilet was very low, and kiddie sized. Toiletries were the only nice touch. Wouldn't feel safe walking about at night in this neighborhood. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I found the room configuration odd - with the bathroom sink just inside the door and next to the refrigerator and the microwave. Also, room 104 had a large red stain on the rug (underneath the ottoman). I didn't think that reflects well on BW.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very pleasant people who worked there. It was in a great location to be able to walk to our concert at the moda center.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location near the Oregon Convention Center"
Hotel is old and in need of renovations. The air conditioning was very noisy. The hotel is location directly adjacent to the train, causing continual vibration and train noise. However, the location was awesome for conference attendance at the Oregon Convention Center.Genuine Expedia guest review
"LOCATION IS FAIR"
tHE ROOM WAS TOO SMALL, ESPECIALLY FOR 4 ADULTS. THERE WAS NO SITTING ROOM. ROOMS, FURNISHINGS ARE DATED. OVERALL EXPERIENCE POOR. CENTRAL LOCATION WAS ONLY PLUS AND IT WAS NEAR A DENNY'S WHICH HOWEVER, CATERED TO THE HOMELESS WITH THE $2/$4/$6 MENUGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Pleasant Stay & I Will Return"
Hotel is an old building probably built in the 60's. Reasonably maintained. Staff very pleasant. Room on South side is quiet. Very close to Max Line. A/C was great on a hot summer day. Room Clean. Bed was very comfortable. Slept well both nights. Wifi must be improved. Not reliable. Checkout easy and quick. I will stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Standard hotel room good staff"
The hotel itself was reasonably priced and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is across the street from the convention center which is a plus if that is where you are going. My room was on the street side facing the trolley station was so very noisy until the station closed at around 10. Really loud trolley sound right outside the window.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Ok stay, close in"
We stayed for 2 nights, both nights there were lots of party animals to be found through out the hotel, not appreciated at 2:45 or 3:10AM either night. The hotel itself is adequate, older and slightly well worn, but close by attractions and reasonable priced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Value for What You Get."
I have not complains of all. Just few details that for me weren't a big deal. There was only decaf coffee in the room and I found hair knots in between the towels. But overall the room looks and smells clean, friendly and professional Front Desk Agents.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient to Convention Center"
Older hotel maintined well. Convenient location. Exceptionally helpful staff. Would recommend over other choices.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is old so it had a musky old smell but overall cleanliness good. Location not so good if you want to explore downtown area. Very close to the public transportation station, the Max but couldn't stay out late cause last Max train is at Midnight.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nicest staff of any hotel anywhere. They don't just respond to questions, they offer their assistance before being asked. Perfect location next to MAX rail, micro and fridge, nice view, comfy bed, laundromat.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice staff, disgusting room conditions"
Hotel staff was very polite and helpful. However, the room's furniture was stained with multiple bodily fluids. It was so gross. I would not stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Lower end hotel but still comfortable."
Hotel was right next to train tracks. We were on the 4th floor and I was concerned it would keep me up but with the drapes closed it was surprisingly quiet. However I found a champagne cork in the room behind the door causing me to feel the room wasn't cleaned properly. It was a decent price for the area and had free parking. It was conveniently to […] catch a train too. I would stay again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Adequate hotel, but nothing special"
This hotel served the purpose for my business trip. It is not a hotel I would choose again, though, expcet for this specific purpose. It is a very old hotel, and not in great condition. The carpet needs to be replaced, badly, throughout the hallways and in the room I occupied. It is convenient to the train and the convention center, and parking is free. […] The room was adequately clean. The bed was pretty uncomfortable with a large dent in the middle. There was a coffee maker, refirgerator and hairdryer in my "upgraded" room. "Decent overnight stay"
Quick overnight stay in town. The room was dated but clean. The staff was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It's enough to stay weekend short trip for me. Friendly price and easy access from anywhere via max.Genuine Expedia guest review
I liked this place. The only downfall was that there wasn't a fridge or microwave in the room which can be useful while traveling. If you're sensitive to sound you may not like the sound of the trolley passing by your window every 15 minutes or so (runs from about 4am to 1am) Beds and pillows were comfy, service was good, and it's located fairly close […] to lots of cool places for shopping, eating, and drinking. My family pretty much walked everywhere or hopped on the awesome public transit system ($5 for an all day pass for adults as of 7/15/14). Close to Holladay Park finish line for STP. Quiet. Helpful staff. On light rail line so accessible to train station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It does the trick"
Overall this was a place to sleep and shower. It is an old bldg with older furnishings. One of the things I liked the least was that I arrived at about 7:30 pm and the air conditioning in my 5th floor room was not on so the room was awful and it took hours to cool down. Also the hallways were not air conditioned and were quite uncomfortable as well […] . Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Paid for location ONLY!"
The BEST thing to be said about my experience at the INN is that it is located directly across the street from the Convention center. The advertised "city view" - FORGETABOUTIT. The modern and comfortable facilities - FORGETABOUTIT. But, if all you are looking for is a short walk to your meeting at the convention center, the INN will do.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Amazing Convention Center Location"
The room was very dimly lit but it was just good enough for our stay. Right next to Convention Center and a few little cafes in area. I recommend JCafe. "Great location. Simple hotel"
Stayed here with 3 friends. Staff was accommodating and had no problem giving us more towels when we requested at check-in. "You get what you pay for"
Unfortunately, it appears the owner has given up on this hotel and decided to not even try to make it look nice or inviting. hallways are dark and gloomy with low ceilings -made me feel dirty just walking down to my room. "Best cheap option, GO BLAZERS!!!"
We always book this hotel when we come to portland for trailblazer games. 10 min walk to arena and there is a great grass area to walk our dog across the street. If you can deal with damaged walls and small rips/cracks here and there this hotel will save you […] $$$ compared to any other hotel in town. Plus they are dog friendly. "Great for going to Oregon Convention Center"
Rooms were quiet, clean, affordable, and convenient. I had a little fridge, coffee maker, cable TV, and free Wi-Fi and parking. The service was excellent also. I had to check out by 12:00 noon but they let me park there until 5pm--when my conference at the Oregon Convention Center actually finished. Thanks!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Right Across the street from the Convention Center"
Great location. Older hotel. No great amenities but if you need a convenient place to sleep…It's cheap! Clean but smells musty and old.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was right next to a MAX station which was great, but the overall cleanliness was terrible. I didn't even dare sit in the chairs! Beds were creaky, hard, and one of my pillows was covered in makeup.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel close within walking distance"
Hotel was within walking distance from the Convention Center and some fast food diners. Staff was friendly. Rooms were cold and carpet dirty and worn. Hallways were dark and smelly. "Convenient location in Portland, OR."
We spent one night at the Inn at the Convention Center. The location was convenient to public transportation (MAX light rail), the convention center, and the Lloyd Center shopping mall.
