SoHo Metropolitan Hotel & Residences - Toronto

The SOHO is a very nice hotel in a great location. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that my friend and I both had problems with the thermostats in our rooms. The temperatures would adjust up and down randomly during the night. It was very strange! Other than that, it was a great stay.

The hotel is only five floors tall so the crashing of the truck emptying the dumpster in the morning was heard. Great hotel for service and amenities.

The metropolitan will now be my standard hotel when I'm in Toronto; great location and excellent accommodations.

Amazing hotel, had a hard time leaving i wanted to stay forever

I spend most of my weekends in Toronto, and I've stayed at every hotel from They royal york, to the Hilton , to the Cosmopolitan. But , the Soho Metropolitan is a step above them all. The hotel was fabulous! It was 2 blocks from Roger Centre, which is where we were headed to see a baseball game. Perfect location. There were also several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. Wonderful accomodations. Modern, trendy hotel with a professional, extremly courteous and helpful staff. Centrally located to see Toronto. I would stay here again on my next visit! Oh..the lounge in the evening was very nice. The bar tender was very nice and the people were very friendly.

Very nice, if somewhat corporate boutique, in an up and coming Toronto neighborhood. Rooms are very large an appointed very nicely but avoid the second floor as the pool is located on that floor and the chlorine smell permeates. In addition, the second floor rooms face a very busy intersection and the traffic noise is very loud in the morning (and traffic […] cops work the corner with blaring whistles beginning around six a.m.). We spent 3 nights at the Soho and loved it. From the moment we arrived, we received excellent service. We were given a complementary upgrade and when we asked to move up to the top floor to get a better view, they took care of it right away. The room was really lovely. Extremely friendly and personal front desk and concierge staff helped with recommendations. Beautiful Senses restuarant and hotel bar. Location two blocks from Rogers Centre, CN Tower and restaurant row. A great spot.

Extremely helpful, charming and supportive staff. Went over and above to satisfy the customer. Breakfast is a bit pricey but very good. Rooms are large, comfortable with nice amenities.

We stayed two nights and loved this hotel. Beautiful rooms, great service and a nice pool area. The location is fantastic - close to many great restaurants and the theatre district, and we had a nice walk to the Eaton centre and back. On-site self-parking was convenient and commensurate with Toronto rates. Had a wonderful one-night stay at this hotel. We were upgraded to the Executive Suite (at a small, discounted rate), and enjoyed the larger room. Attention to detail was fantastic, and would definitely stay there again.

Overall enjoyed our stay, a small delay checking in which could have been made easier with a complimentary coffee at the in house restaurant located in the lobby. Breakfast in room the next morning.....for $60 it should have come with place settings for two, milk for the coffee, and syrup for the pancakes. Had to call down three times. This hotel is very service oriented, from the friendly efficient front desk staff to the concierge who remotely opens the front door for you. Our room was spacious, very clean and had en extremely comfortable bed. This hotel is within walking distance of major entertainment venues and great restaurants. Perfect for a birthday romantic getaway!

This hotel defines luxury. Everything you need is on site! From the iron to the q-tips. The bed is extremely comfortable, the linens were crisp and clean. Everything was to perfection.

Very nice large contemporary-decorated rooms with lots of amenities. very attentive service, very nice restaurant on premises Excellent location a block away from the theatre strip and in the club district Somewhat pricey but gives you good value for the money. The Hotel staff were very thoughtful. They made our room so beautiful for our anniversary!! They went above and beyond I asked!! I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions recently (11 nights, and then another 3 nights), and on both stays the rooms and service were first-rate. I might just make this the default go-to hotel for my business trips to Toronto in the future. If budget allows, always go for the upgraded room. It's well worth it.

This is a lovely hotel with a great downtown location. The attention and friendliness of the reception staff and the peerless concierge was the best we had encountered anywhere in our trip to Canada. Loved the heated bathroom floor ( even in June!).
