For the most part, it was a very nice hotel. Starbucks right in the hotel was really nice and convenient. The heater in the room did not work but we did not know that unil it was very early in the morning.

Don't like paying to park a car. Especially 16 dollars. However staff were friendly and hotel was smoke free which is a bonus Neighbourhood is a bit sketchy. But is still close enough to major attractions.

Great service, attentive staff. I liked that the rooms had DVD players (a redbox is nearby) and free popcorn. However, the room was generally small. If you are parking in their garage know that it is cramped and limited. Parking an SUV is very hard.

I stayed at the Mediterranean for 4 nights and loved everything about it. Our room was very comfortable and clean. I loved having a refrigerator and Microwave in the room too, with Safeway across the street, it made it easy to have some snacks and quick meals in the room. The location was also great! walking distance to the Space needle and monorail […] which takes you directly to Westlake where you can also catch the train all the way back to the airport. This hotel is only a couple of blocks from Seattle Center, which made it very easy to get to from the airport - take the Light Rail to Westlake Mall, then hop on the Monorail to Seattle Center. This of course also made it very easy to get back to downtown on the Monorail too. The service here was great, and there were lots of places to eat within a […] couple of blocks (I recommend 10 Mercer and the Shanty Café for breakfast). The only downside was the layout of the building - my room "overlooked" an inner courtyard, but basically I was staring directly at the windows of the room across from me - and finding the elevator again was kind of confusing because the stairwells were marked with exit signs, but there were no signs marking the elevator, so I wound up going the long way around once. The room was clean if a little bit dated, but not bad. The only major downfall with this hotel is the Wi-Fi - it's not free, which is annoying, but even though I paid for it for one day it was extremely slow and hard to connect to. I wouldn't bother getting it at all and just go to the Starbucks next door. Otherwise it was very pleasant and I would definitely stay here again. Read more

reason for the stay was for a Dr.'s appointment at the Harborview Center which was not a far drive from the hotel. Check in was simple, quick and friendly service. Parking needs to have consideration of bigger vehicles! When small vehicles are parked in a big vehicle parking area they should be asked to moved their vehicle and park in their designated parking!

The hotel was very nice. I recommend more signage on each floor indicating which way to the elevator. Exit signs were not helpful since we could not use the stairs. We ended up going in circles several times.

It is at a very convenient location to Seattle center, close to many restaurants and bus lines. Room was clean and simple. However, the ground floor room seemed to echo all the plumbing noise from other rooms.

I left my phone charger at home. They let me borrow one for the night. Bonus points for that one in my opinion. Space needle is 4 blocks away. From there you can take the monorail downtown. Very convenient.

The location was great. Walking distance to Space Needle, Seattl center, Key arena and monorail station to downtown Seattle. Next to Starbucks and you can find some restaurants near the hotel. Parking was painful. The towels were very thin and the room was very dark & small but clean.

enjoyed my 4 day stay here. outside of downtown in city's Queen Anne area - I enjoyed the quieter, less busy area. About a 20 minute walk to downtown, definitely doable as long as the weather holds up! About 3 blocks from space needle and near many great cafes and places for brunch. Would stay here again.

Checking in went smooth. they do they do charge a $30 a day prepaid on your card for incidentals. They do offer bike rentals at the front desk and free umbrella usage if you needed. Only negative was the parking...having to pay to park on top of hotel cost was a bit of a downer but respectively having to pay to park EVERYWHERE in Seattle, it was worth it. It scraped a lot and I had to take it to a mechanic in order to ensure there was no damage to the under carriage. We're likely to stay again at the Mediterranean Inn. Pros: Nonsmoking throughout. Front desk staff seemed to have a "how can I help" approach, as one example they seemed glad to call a cab. Starbucks is right there. The business center is open 24/7. We had no problems with noise from halls or other rooms... we had a room away from the street for what […] that's worth. Desk staff kept luggage for us for a few hours after checkout. Room had microwave, mini-fridge, and sink. Cons: Plastic utensils in the room might easily be replaced with the corn-based biodegradable kind. Signage visible as guests exit the elevator could help guests to find rooms. Free popcorn in the rooms meant when we used the microwave for something else (we don't eat popcorn) the reheated smell of prior guests' popcorn hung in the air.
