"Love! Will stay here every time I visit Seattle!"
This hotel is fantastic! Wonderful little place and the quintessential Seattle experience. The staff is very kind and helpful, the rooms are clean and spacious, the location is absolutely perfect - TONS to walk to. I'm a Seattle native and moved away 5 years ago and I was craving my old neighborhood. I had no idea this place existed and was so happy […] I stumbled upon it. As a forever Seattlite, avery time I visit from now on I'm staying the Inn at Queen Anne because it feels like home. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice older hotel. In great location, and within walking distance of most anything you need, especially the Monorail!Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel needed remodel or replacement years ago. Rusted/ leaking pipes, faucets won't shut off, toilet seat too short, stained walls and carpet, etc. Staff was nice, place was miserable. But, was cheapest in the immediate area.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Quaint, Hotel in a great quiet district"
Although it is a mile to downtown, it proximity to the Monorail makes it very convenient to get to the downtown shopping district. Walks to Pike Market is a little over a mile.Genuine Expedia guest review
Close to major attractions and restaurants, hotel is not accessible and not much to look at. Room was disappointing for the price, but staff was wonderful and you can't beat the location!Genuine Expedia guest review
I'd stay there again. It met my requirements for cleanliness and comfort. It's exactly what it claims to be.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Perfect hotel next to Key Arena"
I selected this hotel first because of it's location right across the street from Key Arena, where I was attending an event. The room was clean, comfortable, and fairly spacious. It was also a great rate, considering it was right in the heart of Seattle. Our room also had an excellent view of the Space NeedleGenuine Expedia guest review
"Quaint Hotel a Real Bargain"
The Inn at Queen Anne is a charming little boutique hotel (originally built as apartments in the late 20's) in the heart of Lower Queen Anne. I booked it on the spur of the moment and had no problem getting a room that was probably half the price of the leading chains (3 & 4 star) downtown. My first concern was parking, however they told me that they […] have an adjacent lot for parking which is additional fee. I parked on the street when I arrived midday, midweek, and didn't have any trouble street parking for the 48 hours we stayed. The staff are friendly and adept in their positions. The rooms are large, clean and quaint, if a little old in their offerings (not many electric outlets, you won’t find any data ports but they do have wifi). From our room we even had a view of the Space Needle. The rooms each have kitchenettes (a range, refrig, microwave, sink) and are equipped with the necessities to use it. This is a boon for those who are traveling on a budget or those who have strict dietary requirements and want to cook for themselves. The neighborhood is pleasant and walkable with places to eat, an upscale grocery store, a pharmacy, and other necessities and the Seattle Center is literally a block away (Space Needle, Key Arena, Pacific Science Center, Monorail). I would definitely stay there again for a no frills day or two and would recommend it to anyone who came to visit me here in Seattle. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what I expected"
The hotel is located on the corner of two very busy streets. If you do stay there, make sure to not stay in a room that is not adjacent to the street. We were woken up at 5:40am by a delivery truck nosily making its delivery for 20 minutes. Then again at 6:30am. The in-window AC work sufficiently to cool the room, but the thermostat nob was broken and […] would not turn off. Luckily there was a ceiling fan. When the AC turned on in the room next to us the headboard would vibrate loudly where I had to push it against the wall to stop. This happened every 30-45 minutes throughout the night. "Historic and quaint"
Small rooms with kitchen facilities in room...very clean, good price, excellent location in historic area, very close to Space Needle. Staff were super friendly and helpful. No elevator and 3 floors.Genuine Expedia guest review
"a dump not a bargain"
Rundown, walkup to 3rd floor room. No hair dryer in room -- a first in my hotel experience. A/C puttered but didn't cool enough. Kitchenette without a coffeemaker. Yech. Helpful woman at front desk though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a modern expectation."
The room was clean and small with the vintage reflection of a style of 50 years ago and updated about 25 years ago.The small kitchen and large closet suggest a budget minded extended stay. The air conditioning was needed and worked well. The flat screen TV in the room, internet terminal and printer in the lobby: kept me connected to present time. A […] $2.50 bus ride and a fraction of an hour got my to the center of the city of Seattle. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location but more like a hostel"
Location is fantastic but rooms are so-so. Lots of stains, no way of keeping the light out in the morning, room smelled pretty bad. The wifi never worked in the room the entire duration of my stay. No elevator. If you're expecting a very basic hostel-like environment and don't plan to spend any time in the room itself, it's a great choice. Definitely […] wouldn't book if coming for business or have heavy luggage. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location & Friendly Staff"
This was my second stay at this cute little place just off Seattle Center and the first for my husband. We stayed a full week. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They let us check in early no problem when our flight got in early. The kitchenettes in the rooms are great for making small meals (2 great grocery stores very close by) and keeping […] the eating out budget down. But there are so many great restaurants within walking distance...you may not feel the need to cook. (You can still bring home leftovers for the fridge, which we did.) We love to walk and walked everywhere, taking the light rail and bus once. Both very easy to do. This is NOT the Marriott and might feel a little out-dated (they still use old fashioned brass keys), but it also has the homey feel of an old apartment house in NY. So if you want top end "stuff" in your room, go somewhere else. The wireless internet is a little tricky but we asked for a room near the router and it was fine. We were always comfortable in the room and slept well. It was hot and between the ceiling fan and open windows we only used the air conditioner once. We like smelling the ocean breeze so much better. For the price and the location, this place is a steal and I plan to stay there again next year if I visit. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Cute, low-key, pretty close to sights"
About a mile from main Seattle sights. Great market and coffee across the street. Great sushi place around the corner. Very friendly staff. The room itself is outdated and kinda shabby, but comfortable enough. Room even has a small kitchen.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Girls get-away for a few days"
The lobby and hallways depicted the "old charm" but the rooms were NOT! The garden area needed alot of clean-up work and the umbrellas were FILTHY!!! The front desk staff were always courteous and helpful!!! We were lodged in the bottom floor (right by the stairs) and a door stopper would have been a lot quieter for those coming in in the middle of […] the night rather than the slam of that door!! We were told the sister hotel had a lounge and place to eat so it would have been our preference to stay at a place with both rather than leaving the premises. Good first time but there won't be a second! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel staff is awesome. The hotel itself though is very run down and in need of renovation.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to downdown"
This inn is by the space needle and is cheaper relatively to the other hotels downtown. It was built as a studio apt complex and so each unit has a small kitchen. Great for a couple of very low budget who will like to cook during their stay in Seattle. Not recommended for a romantic get away. The neighborhood is great and I felt safe. There are two […] grocery stores a block away on either side of the hotel. You can take the bus to downtown in under 15mins. The park by the space needle is great for a morning or evening jog. Bottom line, this inn is good for a single person on a low income business trip for a couple of days. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is not for everyone, but it's charming, conveniently located, and well-run. If you prefer modernity and newness, you should look elsewhere, but if you like buildings with character and a sense of history, this is a great hotel. This converted 1920s apartment building is full of period detail, from the hexagonal bathroom tile and smallish […] bathtub, to the original wooden cabinets in the kitchenette. Everything's been restored and my room was clean and quiet. Great location near Seattle Center; some nice restaurants nearby. Lovely courtyard. No elevator for the hotel's three floors. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint: Why no window screens?? Visitors to Seattle want to experience that lovely cool Seattle air without worrying about flying insects..... "Inn at Queen Anne"
On arrival at 8 pm our toilet overflowed spilling into the tiny room. We were moved to a larger room but still experienced toilet problems. No maid service at all. Great location but skip this one, lousy deal for the bucks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location, Great Staff Service."
Each and every staff member we met, was friendly, courteous and helpful. All were responsive to our questions and needs...they suggested some great restaurants (there are a lot of great eating places close by). However, please Be patient with the Queen Anne, she is a gracious older bldg., that has been upgraded beautifully...with some minor work yet […] to be done....so, bear with this grand old lady and enjoy the transition....the beautiful subway tile, the gorgeous light coverings in the hall, the new furniture, and carpeting..all done well. Did I mention the hotel is reasonably priced? This was my first trip to Seattle, we went by train from LA to Seattle and flew home....We had a wonderful time at the Inn at Queen Anne and in Seattle. The hotel is only 2 blocks from the Space needle, the museums, the "Duck Ride" and the downtown monorail. And Key Arena is right across the street from the Inn. I look forward to our next trip to Seattle and our stay at The Inn. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cute Boutique Hotel"
We stayed in Room 154. It had a view of the Space Needle!!! The room was clean, beds comfortable, and loved there was a little kitchen in the room. LOVED the vintage details around the hotel. Johnny and Daza at the front desk were so helpful!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not what we expected"
We travel A LOT and were very disappointed with this hotel. We were expecting something similar to the Marqueen but not even close. Everything is old and falling apart. And I'm not talking about the building. The shelf in the bathroom is loose and falling off the wall, the fridge was a half fridge and was all banged up. Someone turned it off and our […] ice melted all over the floor of the kitchen. You had to be a few inches from the tv for the remote control to work. The beds were ok, but the quality of mattress you would give to a child. The pillows were horrible. The AC was very loud. It had very worn out looking linens and towels. The bathtub was patched together and looked dirty although it was not. And they refused to give a late checkout for folks doing the marathon. Unhappy in Seattle. "looks better online than in person"
This hotel is ridiculous...there are stairs all over - not a good thing when you're traveling with heavy luggage. There is NO elevator which means that you are hauling your suitcase up and down the stairs - totally unacceptable. The room has only 1 mirror and no place to put anything in the bathroom. I will say that the room was clean but that was the […] only thing decent thing about this place!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location, comfortable and affordable"
We have stayed at the Inn at Queen Anne several times now and with each visit we grow more fond of this older and quaint hotel. It doesn't have the amenities of a ritzy boutique hotel but what it does have to offer is perfectly fine for our tastes. The staff is always courteous and professional. With just about any type of cuisine available within a […] three block radius food is not a problem. There are three food markets that offer prepared foods and other items that allow one to easily take a meal back their room for more of a home cooked feeling. The Seattle Center with the Key Arena, Space Needle and it's other fun features are steps across the cross walk. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good service, not good hotel"
Queen Anne has a wonderful front desk, however the actual building is pretty rough. The bed was not comfortable, and I stayed on the 3rd floor. The 3rd floor is the top floor, and you can hear the birds on the roof through the ceiling. The birds apparently love the roof of this building, because the noise was pretty regular.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for a short stay"
This hotel is not far to the space needle, just 5~10 mins by walk. If you would like to Kerry Park, it only spends you 15 mins by walk. However, this is an aged building, the room is not big, some facilities are also old, but it is still ok for an stay.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great location close to downtown"
We had a nice view of the Space Needle and the eclectic activity of the street below from our 3rd floor room. An old building with lots of brick and charm. The room was very clean but that old building smell. After five minutes in the room it was not even noticeable. The bed was comfortable and the small kitchenette was very handy. If you want chrome […] and glass them this is not for you but if you appreciate a vintage building and the atmosphere that will bring on the nostalgia then this is wonderful! "Close to the Seattle Center"
Love the Inn at Queen Anne - this is my 5th stay there. It is old and nothing fancy - but it is clean the staff is nice and it is located close to Seattle Center attractions. "Bad Bed. No Parking"
One of the worst beds I have ever slept in. Think your mattress is bad? Go sleep here and you will think yours is a cloud. Was in town for a concert at the Key Arena - which is across the street. Website for the Inn says there is paid parking. It is first come first serve and not nearly enough! We got there and their lot was full - they blamed me for […] being "too late". Just drive around until you find something, they said. Rude, combative. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This hotel was such a disappointment and definitely not worth the price I paid for my room. I love the idea of an old apartment building being turned into a hotel, but this place just felt like a gross, old, poorly maintained, over used run down apartment. The decor was horrible, absolutely everything was old in a bad way, the bedding felt like it's […] been there since the 1970s, the room and public spaces were dark and grungy, the doors didn't feel secure, I could go on and on. I would never stay there again. Nor would I recommend it to anyone else. It has the potential to be a wonderful little boutique hotel but needs a major renovation to make that happen. "Funky, lovely little place"
This little renovated place has charms you might not notice on its website: a leafy garden to sit and chat in between its two buildings, a laundromat in the basement, a kitchenette that's really a kitchenette. The help are terrific; the room is clean; the location is perfect. My shower head didn't work these days--and there's a trick to getting the […] AC unit to cool the room. But overall, it was a terrific find for a conference stay. I would certainly stay here again, and I recommend it highly to all. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Don't stay here"
It started when they did not honor the Hotels.com prepaid reservation. We paid more and now have to try to get our money returned from Hotels.com. The place was dirty and unkept. It was next to a busy street - noisy at night. Sheets were dirty and had hair in them. What more can I say....Genuine Hotels.com guest review
There was a hot water pipe next to the toilet so you could not sit squarely on the seat. I booked two queen beds got 2 singles which were like sleeping on rocks , The room was small and cramped. Unless I was desperate I would not stay there again. I called ahead and told the hotel that the bill would be paid in cash at check out. I understood that i […] would need a credit card to hold the room, but when my son and his friend went to check out they were told they needed a credit card but couldn't use my card because they didn't have authorization. "Great front desk, Mediocre Hotel"
The Jazz quietly making it's way through the lobby fit perfectly in this aging hotel. Excellent front desk staff made for a nice transition, along with a lobby coffee, which wasn't actually decent. Decor is lacking, general updated is needed. The rooms are desperately in need of updating, whether the short shower head, cracked bathtub, old TV without […] remote, NO ELEVATOR.
