"Good location, uncomfortable room."
Good location but the room was small and uncomfortable. The room had small old beds, weak short shower, and creaky loose front door.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Eye of the beholder?"
Although the hotel was extremely well located, it is old and in need of some major upgrades. I looked at a couple of rooms, the in room tv's were old and small, internet was bad, and there were light blinds in the kitchenette so as soon as the sun came up the room was flooded with light (no sleeping in)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old but comfortable"
Old hotel built in the 20's. Room temperature was difficult to control. Could never get the heat off so had the ac on the whole time. Old but comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
Unfortunately as an older structure the radiant heat was on all evening, making it rather uncomfortable. Great location for the arts and conferences, close to a grocery and a practical kitchenette - bathroom is outdated and furnishings are a bit worn.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not worth the cost."
Very dissipointed. Tatty rooms in disrepair. Peeling paint and plaster. No hot water for shower the 2nd day. No heat control. Breakfast not included. No parking except on street when we arrived. Parking at a price at sister hotel, if available. Street noise. Very expensive for what you get. Now worth the 250.00 for two nights we paid.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very derelict old place. Ratty carpets, everything smelled sour, the bathroom was tatty with peeling stuff. Beds very cheap. EVen for budget travelers this was pretty downscale.Genuine Expedia guest review

We really enjoyed our stay. It is an old apartment building made into a hotel with all or most original stuff!! Hot water heat was neat!! Full size bed was the only thing to get use to as we have a king otherwise it was nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Outstanding Location/Great Price"
Street noise not a problem, comfortable rooms, have stayed here several times. Right downtown. Love this place!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was a decent stay. The room was on the small side but overall not too bad. The only downside was parking. There was maybe a dozen spots and costs 24 and change a day and it was a block away down a sketchy alleyway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Had a overall nice stay at this hotel. Stayed for one night with my partner which was fine. The room was very clean, very old fashion (but in a cute way) and the bed was alright as well. My only complaint is that the heater in the room was on once we're going to bed and we could not turn the thing off! It was so old that the turn knob didn't even have […] numbers on it.. as a result of this we had to go to sleep with the heater on full mode AND the fan in the ceiling on so that the room would be somewhat cooler. It felt like a total waste of electricity and we both had a hard time sleeping because the air was so dry in the room. We woke up next morning feeling like a piece of paper with dry eyes/face/mouth. The location of the place was alright though. We were lucky to find a parking spot right outside and we found two good restaurants up on Mercer which is only 1-2 blocks north. Easy to get to on bus line, right by Space Needle, helpful staff, cozy and clean, enjoyed very much for price a treasure. Will stay again when in town.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
there was no thermostat in the room. Had no heat most of the night. Also had a room right next to the stairwell that should not be rented to guests. The noise level prevented sleep most of the night as well as no HEAT!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"such a lovely visit!"
my fiancé and I traveled to Seattle because we are planning to move there, and booked 4 nights and 5 days at the the Inn. upon arrival we where greeted by a friendly front desk person, who had us ready and checked in about 5 minutes. We asked them for some restaurant recommendations, and about life in Seattle in general. Was not disappointed! They where […] very forth coming and every spot they thought we might like was fabulous. Our room itself was spacious and clean, with very little noise pollution despite being located on a busy road. We had a kitchenette in our room and our dishes where done everytime housekeeping came around, which I was not expecting and which was a pleasant surprise. Aside from that, the hotel's location is also fantastic. Steps away from city center, there was plenty to do and see, and we caught to monorail to Westlake Center several times during our stay. We had a great time, and will stay at the Inn again if ever traveling to the same area. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth it"
Built in 1928, and it shows. Radiator heat couldn't cope with drafty windows during a cold snap, so I had to was cold all night. Shower pressure drops to a trickle of somebody else is using water, and I was awoken by screaming pipes from somebody else's shower at 6 am. Windows are thin and let in all of the loud street noise that goes on all night (partiers, […] then garbage trucks at 4 am). No sort of breakfast, just a few coffee urns in the lobby. Creaky floors, little soundproofing, so the second night I was awoken by a violent argument between a couple, with screaming, crying, and someone pounding or shoving someone into the wall. There are plenty of other options around the Seattle Center, and even a cheap chain motel would be better than this place. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Quaint and rustic, but very charming."
The rooms were very old, with creaky floors and a rather annoying dripping pipe, but overall our experience was pretty good. If you're looking for 4-star comfort and brand new amenities, look elsewhere; but, if you're fine with a bit of character, this is a great place for the value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Staying in Queen Anne"
The best thing about staying here is the cheaper price of the room. Its practically double anywhere else in the city. The bad thing about staying here is the thin walls making noises in hallways and outside seem very loud.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent Place but...."
The Queene Anne was decent.. the staff was friendly and helpful.. but they charge $30 to park overnight... for $100 a night.. parking should be free. The room was ok, there were some water bubbles in the ceiling above the shower and rust as well. Im also not sure who cleaned the room... but there was still garbage in our can from the previous occupants. […] The neighborhood was amazing and convenient to the busses to downtown. The place did have a lot of charm and I would stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Rude staff, plus the hotel is very old and outdated.. Feels like you went back in time a bit, pretty creepy. "Stay at Queen Anne"
This Inn was great for its price and location, the building is a little old so don't expect a modern feel to it. The shower was hard to turn all the way off so it would drip. Thought this would be a nice place to stay by the entrance and front desk. Wrong! Once you enter your room you are transported back to the 20's...and not in a good way. Very old worn out carpeting, less than desirable kitchenette that appears to be original or added soon after, an original half size chipping bathtub and there are no outlets in the bathroom […] to be able to plug anything in to get ready nor any accessible ones in the room to use. They're idea of updating is just to continually slap another layer of paint on everything and that is all the updating they do! Don't expect to get much sleep. You can hear your neighbors in the next room and every step outside your door. And you can also hear the homeless fighting/sleeping 5 feet from your window as if they were in the room with you. But don't worry, they will leave at the threat of being pepper sprayed and police being called. I may not be so harsh if I had only paid $50 or under as I felt this was what it was worth, but since I was staying on a holiday it was significantly higher. I won't be back! On the positive the staff was friendly and helpful. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Cute, older hotel"
Cute hotel, great staff. The building is old, so you get all the things that come along with an old building. That would be charm, character, rust and a slight smell. I've stayed at the Inn many times and really enjoy the friendly staff, good size rooms with plenty of windows (this is an old building). The kitchenettes are really useful for extended stays.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
No heat in my room. Switched to another room and the heater broke in the middle of the night. When I went down the stairs to the front desk in the AM I noticed someone had vomited on the stairs. As I rounded the flight of stairs I noticed someone had vomited again. When I walked back to my room 10 minutes later I was behind a maid who stepped over the […] vomit to get back to whatever it was she was up to. Pretty gross. Also, very little parking. "Quaint and old fashioned, yet okay."
When I was looking for hotels to stay at around downtown, I came across this one and it had semi decent reviews so I decided to go with it. The only two concerns I have is, there is no parking and Seattle is quite insane with its parking availability and prices. Another concern is that it's just too expensive and you don't get enough for your money […] in my opinion. Two blocks away is the Marqueen and later I found out that it was around $80 cheaper and they offered overnight parking. I know where I'll be staying next time I'm in Seattle. I'm going 4 overall for the rating, but I think some probably would not be so wild about it. It's not fancy, and the service is minimalist. But the room was clean and comfortable, comparable in cost to two people staying in a hostel, and in a great neighborhood. The room struck me as possible having been an apartment or rooming house at some point. […] It had a very functional kitchenette that would be awesome if you were staying for a while and wanted to do some of your own food prep. It had a 2 burner gas stove, and real dishes and utensils (not disposable), and a fridge. It had a huge walk in closet too. The steam heat registers (it's an older building) couldn't be adjusted (so far as we could tell) but we were able to open the windows to mitigate the heat. The amenities were spartan, but we didn't want or need them. It's right next to the Seattle Center, and there are plenty of food, drink and nightlife options at the door step, and it's plenty close to downtown if you enjoy a modest walk. If you were going to an event at the Seattle Center it would be extremely convenient. It's fine, especially for the price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a pleasant stay. We were unaware until right before we arrived that they don't have a lot of parking space and you have to pay for what they do have. But, there isn't a lot of parking in Seattle in general. Thankfully, we were able to park in the lot closest to the hotel each night. At least my husband was able to. There is no way I could pull […] in and out of the tiny one lane parking strip. You pull in but have to back out to the alley. The staff was helpful in recommending things and getting us a cab for our trip to the Clipper wharf. There are restaurants and markets within walking distance. Since it has a kitchenette we were able to pick up snacks and things at the market close by. It isn't like chain hotels/motels with all of the perks but it was nice. They had nice shampoo/conditioner and soaps. The rates were reasonable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The room was satisfactory, but old and needed some structural improvements. It was close to where we needed to be each day (walking distance). There were plenty of nice grocery stores and restaurants in the area. If you have a car, parking is extra, (about $25 per day). There are limited parking spaces available. I'm not sure what you do with your car […] if the hotel does not have any space. We did get a space all three nights we were there. "Near the Space Needle - Aging low budget hotel"
There is no elevator and also very limited parking--which makes it difficult to go in & out to sightsee. Furnishings including bed were old and our toilet leaked onto floor. Staff were very nice but would only recommend very short stays if you are looking for a low cost hotel near the Space Needle.Genuine Expedia guest review
Location was excellent and hotel had the great ambiance I was looking for. In keeping with its age, it had no elevator, a factor I'd completely overlooked when I made my reservation. With a cardiac condition, I had to accept the receptionist's kind offer to carry my case up to the third floor. Getting it down again was not easy. The staff was friendly […] and helpful but not always efficient. For example, the maid forgot to leave any soap, requiring my getting dressed for yet another trip down to the reception desk. However, apart from such slight inconveniences, my stay was "pleasing" and comparatively inexpensive. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
