"Great older motel in Queen Anne"
This is a great choice in the Queen Anne district if you don't mind an older facility. Our room had two twins beds, a small kitchenette, and a huge walk in closet. It was facing the pretty courtyard. The location is great, walking distance to several activities and stores. The inn is older, but I liked it as i felt like I was walking back in time. The […] rooms was very clean, and all employees we encountered were pleasant. We would definately stay here again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"pay the extra money"
The hotel staff are very friendly, yet the hotel itself is very old and needs lots of work. The clean lobby and charming courtyard are misleading. My room door was very hard to lock from the inside, plus there was this awful smell from the room. The bed was as hard as a rock and the bathroom was just funky. I did not feel clean after my showing because […] everything in the room was so dirty. I am glad it was one short night stay night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone over thirty. Too bad there was no other hotels that night...yuk. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Inn at Queen Anne"
The hotel is conveniently located near the space needle. The rooms are a little dated, but still comfortable and satisfactory. There are good nearby restaurants and bus access. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We have stayed here primarily because it is a little cheaper than other locations. If you are looking for newer, up to date comfort […] and luxury, you will probably be disappointed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Unfriendly maintenance staff"
The hotel is definitely basic, which wasn't unexpected, but the third floor is a good hike if you have a suitcase to drag up the stairs. Key got stuck in door and had to change rooms and the maintenance man expressed irritation over having to come over; however, the night manager was helpful and most of the front desk staff were as well. The room is […] convenient and works if you plan on spending very little time there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old somewhat dated hotel in great location"
Great location adjacent to Seattle Center. Short walk to space needle. fountain, monorail, etc. Local neighborhood restaurants on same block. Hotel clean, old, charming, but dated. Beds NOT COMFORTABLE at all! Had trouble sleeping. Kitchenette nice, but dated. Hotel could use some TLC. But that would raise the rates. Existing woodwork, etc adds to charm. "The Inn at Queen Anne"
We always stay at the Inn at Queen Anne. It's close to our friends, a great location next to the Seattle Center. Walking distance to downtown. It's a bit worn but clean and funky cute. Easy to run out a grab something to eat plus the market is just a block away. Rooms have a little kitchenette. Many rooms have a partial view of the Space Needle.Genuine Expedia guest review
"clean and convenient"
Impressed that such an old hotel still manages to stay attractive and up-to-date. Usually I find something to irritate me when I stay at reasonably-priced hotels. Not this time. Can't think of one thing to complain of. Of course, the location is probably the best feature of this nice, comfy little hotel with plenty of personality and charm.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is in a great location. The staff is helpful, friendly and great. The carets are thread bear, the lock is a key, the ventilation is iffy, and the walk to the parking includes concertina wire on buildings.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Seattle on a budget"
A solid option if you're on a budget and you're not too hoity-toity. The place shows wear and has no elevator, but, if price is your concern, it does the job. The rooms are small apartment rooms and have everything you need. The staff was helpful (especially Brian).Genuine Expedia guest review
Their webmaster was "masterful" in their photos of the Inn at Queen Anne. The photos and price did NOT correlate to the Hotel. I paid too much. The bathtub looked like it came from a garage sale, with the enamel peeling off. I'm not sure WHEN they looked under the bed, but it was gross. I have a shaved head, so I'm not sure where the three long hairs […] in my bed came from. I chose the hotel because of it's reasonable price and close proximity to the start of a race. I will think twice again next year. I could pay $30/night more and stay at a much nicer mid level hotel blocks away. Cab service to the hotel is sketchy at best and the panhandlers are VERY aggressive around the hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very satisfied.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Perfect location. Bartells Drug store is walking distance. Safe neighborhood. Its basically right across the street from the Seattle Center and Space Needle. To get to downtown just hop on the monorail at the Seattle Center. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative was that I was not allowed to enjoy a cigar outside in the courtyard. "Fun place to stay"
The Inn at Queen Anne is a quaint, older hotel. It appears to have been an apartment complex originally. The rooms are smaller but very comfortable. I was there for 5 nights and the room with a kitchenette was perfect for what I expected. It was clean and cared for daily. There is a lovely patio with nice landscaping where guests can relax. "Affordable accommodations in a fun part of town"
Have stayed here twice now and have been happy with it. Great for people on a budget but just don't expect much. It's safe and clean with all the basics but it is no 5 star hotel either. They take pretty good care of the neat old brick building and the gardens are charming. Easy walk to some of the best eats in town also there are 2 markets close by […] to stock your mini kitchen. Walking across the street gets to the Seattle Center Park and all it has to offer. There is a nearby Starbucks, movie theater, a few bars, frozen yogurt etc. Busses take you all over town and the monorail is right in the park that can take you to the light rail and all the way to the airport for only $5 per person instead of a hefty cab fare. "Depends what you're looking for..."
Before heading to Seattle, we had checked out the reviews online of the hotel and it's EXACTLY what people had been saying. The hotel looks and smells old, the floors creak and there is not one thing modern about it. In order to charge our phone at night using the bathroom power (the closest power outlet to bed), we had to leave the bathroom light on […] in order for the power to work. The hotel itself was pretty quiet but the noise from outside during the night was loud enough to keep us awake. Take ear plugs. There is also no elevator. Bottom line....it depends on what you're looking for as to whether you want to stay here. We knew we weren't going to spend any time in the hotel and we just wanted to crash out at night and didn't want to spend a whole lot of money. We paid $112 a night - still expensive for what we got but compared to the $250/$300 a night in downtown, it did the job. Since we knew what we were getting, we just laughed at the little quirks of the place. It's a 10 minute walk to the space needle through a park - it's beautiful and has a water show to music that's fun to watch. From there it's a $4.50 round trip on the monorail to downtown (it's about four blocks walk to pike market from there) It's about $12 taxi ride from hotel to the pier/miners landing. The staff were really friendly and there was hot coffee all day in the lobby. There is a liquor store and grocery market close by if you need to pick up anything which is nice. "Very nice for the budget concious tourist."
The best thing about this Hotel is its location to the Seattle Center. We were there for an weekend event and could not have been closer. I loved the kitchenette and the bathtub. "Good hotel for someone who doesn't need internet!"
It is a good hotel since you can walk to all tourist attractions in downtown, about 9 minute walk to Space Needle , less than 30 minute to Pike Market Place and 40 minute walk to Seattle Underground tour. There is a 24 hour store just 3 minute walk from the hotel so you can get whatever you need and you have a clean small kitchenette in your room. Walk […] in Closet has enough space with Iron and Iron boeard. However the biggest issue with this hotel is " Internet". During the 3 days that I stayed in this hotel I could connected to internet only twice and it lasts just for few minutes! Their Wifi service is TERRIBLE so if you are kind of person that does need internet access, be prepared! Also there is no hair dryer in the room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Older hotel without an elevator. Had requested a room on the first floor but since our arrival was late had to have a room on the 3rd floor. "Outstanding location for Seattle visit"
This is our second stay at the Inn at Queen Anne. Although this is an older facility we really like it and will stay there again when visiting Seattle. The girl at the desk was especially pleasant and helpful. Her recommendations on nearby restaurants on Queen Anne street resulted in a great dinner and very nice lunch. "Under a flight path"
I had very favorable interactions with helpful hotel staff. I appreciate that they found me a relatively quiet room on the courtyard. The kitchenette is well supplied and the bathroom toiletries are of nice quality. The room itself was clean and the shower worked well. The location was very helpful for my purposes. Downsides? No elevator. Ice machine […] three flights away. The key stuck in the door lock, and gentle coaxing took a long time to set the key free. The bed had no mattress cover between the bottom sheet and the mattress, and the bottom sheet came away from its mattress corners in the middle of the night. Because it was the only way to dehumidify the room I had windows open, and unfortunately, it seems the Inn is right beneath some airline flight path. Overall, I liked the charm of this Inn, and I found the staff to be courteous and efficient, but I didn't sleep well this time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

It seriously smelled so bad inside of our room. Honestly, it felt like it used to be a nursing home before being converted into a hotel. It just hand such a pungent nursing home smell inside that made it almost unbearable had I not bought an air freshener.Genuine Expedia guest review

This hotel is in a great location. Numerous restaurants are in the immediate area. It's rooms have kitchenettes and two grocery stores are within two blocks. "Decent price for location"
When I first booked the room I was a bit worries that it would be too far away from all that seattle has to offer. But we were actually just a 5 min walk from the EMP museum, space needle, and the monorail that would take you downtown, and within wlaking distance of Pikes Place. The first thing is that they did let us check in early which was pretty […] awesome because we got there 2 hours earlier than expected. Once we got to our room it smelled like it had been soaked with bleach. I brought my 7 month old and had to make sure to open the windows and turn on fans andaircondition first thing the smell was still present 4 hrs later. For some reason when we tried calling the lobby from our room there was never a answer and we tried about 6 times throughout or 4 day stay. So we had to go down from the 3rd floor baby in hand down stairs due to there are no elevators available to ask for extra toilet paper, or dish soap etc. I will prob stay there again because of the location, and the room matched what I paid for. When I got to the counter the clerk was on the phone with someone who was complaining about being over charged. I checked in and for some reason decided to check my bank avvount and I was double charged too! The ros are old and need to be updated.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was one block from Key Arena. There were many restaurants in the area to choose from within walking distance. To go downtown, we used the bus or the monorail. From the monorail at Westlake Center, Pike Place Market was only 3 blocks away. We were only a 20 minute walk from Pier 69 where the Clipper docked. We booked a room with 2 twin beds. […] It had a kitchenette, a large walk-in closet, and the bathroom had a tub with a shower. The front desk clerk was very friendly. The hotel offered free coffee in the lobby. Our room looked as if it had seen better days, but it was very clean and comfortable. It is a great hotel for a weekend stay without any frills. There are painted over cracks on the walls. Poor paint job instead of proper repairs, and the ceiling fan shook like crazy at the fastest setting. There was a radiator for heat, and an air conditioner for cooling. The hotel was one block from Seattle Center, and there was a supermarket one block away. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Friendly and helpful staff"
The hotel is definitely in need of upgrades. That being said, the price is right, the staff is super friendly, and the area is nice with lots of restaurants. The walk to downtown is long but there is a lot to look at along the way.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"We enjoyed our stay"
What a wonderful little hotel! I loved the location, the atmosphere and the price. The only complaint I have is the beds need to be updated and the ceiling above the tub needs to be painted and or cleaned as it looked a bit moldy. I was also not happy that I was charged tax in addition to the $15 parking fee. But all in all I would go there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Basically, you're not paying for amenities or glamour, you're paying for the location. Parking is a little weird - in a neighboring block in an alley, but you're across the street for the Seattle Center among other things. You're in walking distance from everything in lower Queen Anne and the Seattle Center.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, Old Hotel"
We only stayed for one night, but the serves was great. Of course it's not the nicest hotel I've been in, but it's a very old hotel. So for what it is they kept it very clean. "use google earth before you commit to staying ther"
There was NO close parking, and the paid parking I had to use was very expensive and very inconvienient. The room was clean and in a semi-secure building, the staff was friendly but that is it. "Consistently "Good 'Nuf'"
We stay here at least once a year because the location is terrific for things we enjoy-- the ballet, downtown, restaurants, and such. Not really impressed...No elevator and sad, steep stairs to navigate. I was on the third floor. No real parking around the hotel...the hotels VERY limited parking (15 spots?) lot is a city block away ($15.00/night) and is drive in and back out, it's more like an alley way. $115.00/night with taxes and all, seems a little high for me. "Great Location & Value for business or family"
This charming hotel is in an older building, but it still has all the modern amenities, and the service is excellent. The location is perfect for tourists or business travelers. It is right across the street from the Seattle Center and the Space Needle and all the attractions there. Then if you want to go downtown, there is a monorail stop there too, […] which takes you right downtown just as it was designed to do for the 1962 worlds fair. The monorail ride is quick, there is just one stop, and it is scenic with views of the city as you go. The hotel has attractive rooms, with small kitchen facilities and easy to access Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi worked consistently with strong signal. The staff were very helpful and service oriented. For my stay in Seattle this was a good affordable place to stay close to some good eats and great coffee. The staff was fine nothing special but courteous. The room was nice and very spacious.
