"Quaint, interesting place"
Great help for meals and transportation from the staff (more than one!). It is an old, quaint building with the requisite creaky floors, old fixtures, but it wasn't uncomfortable. Parking was a bit of a problem, but the staff had good suggestions. I did have to unplug the refrigerator because the condenser was just too loud, but that solved the problem. Good thing I didn't need it!

"Great location, old, clean and friendly staff!"
The Inn at Queen Anne was once a studio apartment building (No elevator)which years ago was converted into a hotel. So your room will be small, with a small kitchenette, small bathroom(Tub that is 1/2 the normal size, more of a shower), table for two. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel this is not it, but if you want something clean, comfortable and in a great location keep reading because this is it. It is located across the street from the Seattle Center, which make it a short pleasant walk to the EMP Museum, Space Needle and the Pacific Science Center. If you need a Post Office there's one across the street. Dick's Hamburgers(Local Seattle Treasure) is right out the back door, with another dozen or so places to eat within a block. There's also a Safeway and an upscale market within a block to purchase food for your hotel room. The Metro Bus has a stop across the street and one on the next block which will give you several routes which will take you downtown. The hotel offers parking at $20.00 per night. Having previously lived in Seattle most of what I wanted to do was in walking distance or a short bus ride, so a car was not needed. If you are older and stairs are a problem, get a room on the 1st floor. I've stayed here at least a dozen times and wouldn't hesitate to book another room. It's not fancy, it's clean and it works fine for what I need.

"Travel back in time to the 1940s...."
The price was very good considering that you are in the heart of the Lower Queen Anne area. You walk to great restaurants and bars and for my purpose, it was a block away from SIFF. The hotel is old, creaky floors, tub plumbing could use some work (it was a lot of work to figure out the hot water mix for the shower. The room was clean though. Walking in to the lobby with the 1940s music was so neat. This place will take you back in time. If I get the same rate (relative to the nearby hotels) for future visits, I am definitely coming back here.

Inside of Room is very old, even it is renovated. The Bathtub and carpet of the room are very old. We stayed next to the exit on the 1st floor, it's next to public parking so we were not feel being comfortablie because it is not so safety. Wifi is not so often connect int the room so it's better to use wifi in the front desk aera. there is not hair dryer and NO elevator. Location is very good and there is a supermarket near the hotel(it takes a few minutes on foot).

"Old hotel, so-so deal"
It's just an old apartment building that someone decided is a hotel. Teensy, old kitchen. AC (portable in window) didn't cool room very well, vents filled with dust. Across street from Seattle Center/KeyArena, so that's great. The location jacks up the price, but the price seemed too high to us for that poor a building/room, and we are definitely not overly demanding on lodging if the location is good.

"Hotel was OK for the price"
When my husband and I checked in, our room was on the 2nd floor. We requested a ground floor because my husband has trouble climbing stairs. The young man at the front desk said he was sorry about the mix up, but that he had trouble reading the request from Expedia. We spent the night on the 2nd floor, and the following morning we were moved to a first floor room. The room on the 2nd floor was very noisey since it faced Queen Ann Blvd. and the first floor was just as noisy since it faced 1st Ave. The room was a nice size as was the bathroom. Loved having the kitchen area for warming up left overs. The rooms were a little outdated and could use some renovations. The coffee in the lobby was a plus and the staff was always very friendly and professional. We would like to thank Nicolas who was the staff member who got us changed to the first floor room without a hitch first thing in the morning. There were nice restaurants close by (walking distance).

Parking is an issue , if you have a car they say parking is first come first serve , we had to park in meter and then come back to put more $in or you can park in parking lot which is better choice but was full the day we got there since the Key Arena had a concert.

"Comfortable and affordable"
I'm always excited to get a room with a queen size bed day of booking for under a $100. Throw in a gas stove and cookware and I'm yours forever. I'm pretty sure the building was converted from 40s apartments. I was particularly stoked to find Pesos and the Mecca on the other side of the block. Don't want to eat out? Grocery store is one block away.

"Awesome Location"
Awesome neighborhood to stay in. Was able to walk downtown with ease, as well up and over the hill to the Fremont neighborhood (with relative ease... it's a pretty challenging hill). The proximity to downtown is great, and the neighborhood is full of great things as well. The hotel itself is pretty cool, a little old, but economical and perfect for a quick stay in Seattle. If fancy accommodations aren't hugely important, and you don't mind staying a little bit outside of downtown, check this place out. Staff also very friendly.

"A charming hotel in downtown Seattle"
We arrived at Queen Anne and were told we were upgraded to the Marqueen, their sister property. So I am actually going to review the Marqueen, If you enjoy old style charm and elegance this is a great hotel for you to stay while in downtown Seattle. The location had several restaurants and shops in walking distance and we had continental breakfast in their restaurant/bar the Tin Lizzie. After we valet parked our car we walked to the Space Needle and monorail station nearby. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was really comfortable and roomy. We had two queen beds, a sitting area, kitchen, bathroom and were provided plush bathrobes in the closet. The kitchen had a fridge, oven/stove, microwave and everything you could need in dishes, etc. The TV offered plenty of channels. I only wish we had been able to stay more nights there!

"Perfectly acceptable and close to so much"
This was a fine little place to stay. The staff was friendly and efficient. We arrived early and they gave us an available room right away. The room was a good size with a big closet, small functional kitchen and good size bathroom. This is an old building with old fixtures, but everything was clean and well-kept. There was a huge range of restaurants in walking distance and an upscale organic grocers one block away. We did not cook, but did pick up cheese, fruit and bread for snacking. Pronto bikes was also one block away and we rented bikes one day. We could walk most places. Seattle Center is one block away. There is street noise because you are in a busy area, but it was quiet in the middle of the night and quiet on Saturday and Sunday morning. With the exception of hearing the shower, we did not hear other guests.

"great location, prepare for 'character'"
it was great to be able to walk to the Seattle Center from the hotel. We also walked back every 2 hours to put more $ in the meter where we had parked the car the night before (free from 8pm - 8am, then $3 for 2 hours) the hotel is pricey for the basic quality and condition, but it does have historical character and the staff are very kind and attentive if needed. I suggest you request an inner courtyard room, as the ones close to the street or to the stairs can be noisy. it was all about location LOVED the Thai food around the corner!

"Great location, "rustic" hotel"
This is a reasonable choice for folks looking for a great location on a tight budget. The building is old and the rooms have not been remodeled. No elevator, only one key per room, no bathroom fan and the bathroom window didn't open, slow-draining tub, practically no bathroom counter space, minimally-equipped kitchenette, thin walls. The wireless internet was too slow to be usable during all three nights of my stay aside from a couple hours one of the evenings. The beds were comfortable enough. If you're looking for a no-frills home base while exploring Seattle, this will work.

"Pleasant Stay at the Inn at Queen Ann"
I think Inn at Queen Ann is great. It's small, cozy, and it includes a kitchenette. So you can get your groceries and cut down on food expenses. The room was neat and clean, the furnishings were solid (not fake), and the hotel staff were friendly. The only reason why I rated Room Cleanliness is 4 instead of a 5 was that the carpet was stained. Also, when you first enter the stairwell and the room there is a smell. But neither grossed me out. I got a comfortable room, away from the noise and the chaos of the bigger hotels with those bell boys always trying to take your luggage and expecting a tip. Plus, it's close to the Space Needle, the glass museum, and the Catholic Church. Well located.

Location is really good if all you want is access to sightseeing activity. Parking will cost about $20.00 per night extra and is limited to 11 vehicles. "Paying for location not the hotel"
This place is in an amazing location right next to the space needle and close to pike place market. That is literally all you are paying for! For such a high rate for this place, the money is obviously not being reinvested into the hotel. The outside looks gorgeous but the rooms are super old school. There is paint peeling off the pipes in the bathroom and from the cheap fake tiles in the shower. They say they have WiFi, BUT THEY DO NOT! It doesn't even work strong enough to get out an email... there are two routers in the whole place (crazy!!) and when we stood next to the one in the lobby it still didn't work. It's 2015, it's totally unacceptable to advertise WiFi and not actually have it working. The staff couldn't care less about our concerns either. Add that to the fact that all the fixtures are very old and this place looks like it hasn't been renovated in 30+ years. I mean there are gas stoves that have to be lit with a match...

Not great. The hotel is VERY old so nothing is very clean. Everything is out of date and small. All rooms come with a kitchenette but barely any supplies. I took ingredients to make pancakes for breakfast only to find I had no mixing bowls or spatulas. They provide the bare minimum; plates, cups, forks, knives, and 2 pans. That's it! Also, they have coffee mugs in the room but no coffee pot. I paid $20 a day for a parking spot to park so close to the other cars in the lot I could barely get out of the car, so much for unloading once we parked. The location was good but that's about it.

The first night we were in an unfortunate room right next to a stairway door and toward the street. Sleep was rough. I inquired (begged, really) the next morning about another room and the wonderful staff had use switched to a much quieter courtyard room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were fairly comfortable; there are extra pillows and lots of space (closets and kitchenettes). There is a Liquor store next door that also sells juice/water, etc. and a market down the street. The location is good. You can walk to Seattle Center and hop on the monorail into the downtown area. Would definitely consider another stay here.

Overall nice location so close the space needle a few block away walking distance had a really nice neighborhood some really great places to go I'm just right around the hotel there the one thing that I would give a lower review on would be parking in the parking in an alley between 2 buildings for $20 a night I would like to have my car feel little bit more safer in the area just because I'm paying $20 a night I would prefer my car to be watched better but overall staff is amazing we did have a little issue with our heater but the hotel compensated as by removing 2 free nights of parking on which was amazing also moved us to a newer room that had no heating great service again best place to stay how to lower costs to get to downtown taking uber about seven to eleven dollars but other than that I had a really great stay at this hotel I would definitely come back again
