Sheraton Vistana Resort-All Villa Resort in Lake Buena Vista - Orlando 28.36865, -81.50301

We booked a studio sized room and were expecting just that. When we got to our room it ended up being twice the size that we were expecting and It had a roman tub( my 6 yo loved his giant bubble baths). Everything was spotless. The kitchen was fully stocked (utensils, plates glasses, toaster, microwave, blender etc.) We used all of it since we cooked breakfast and dinner every night in our room. Our reservation specifically stated "no housekeeping" so it felt like a home away from home with our daily chores like dishes and laundry (yes! waher and dryer in the room). the lake buena vista area is marvelous. We drove to downtown disney parked for free and took free transportation to the park. (The hotel does provide a shuttle, but ending the days at downtown disney worked for us) The convience store has a full deli and mostly everything you need. It was too cold to check out the pools. but if we get the same deal we'll probably be back in the summer.

This is a one bedroom with a pullout sofa sleeper. The unit we stayed in was just renovated and in top condition. Very clean, vey comfortable, beautifully decorated and full size dining area to help save money on eating out. Full kitchen- great appliances. Great location- so close to the parks! The pools are amazing.

Outdated furnishings, obviously not a renovated unit. Do not answer the phone unless you want to purchase a timeshare. They call everyday before 8AM to offer you deals to come listen, so consider taking phone off the hook if you want to sleep in. Otherwise terrific place to stay and great amount of space for family. Convenient full kitchen. Bring your own condiments (salt, pepper, etc.). Dishwasher detergent was provided. Bring your own laundry detergent. Only soap bars provided in bathrooms, so bring all your own stuff.

Check out your room before you carry all your luggage up to the room!!! I booked a 1 bedroom villa and when we went to our room with our 1 year old and all luggage they gave us the studio. NO BEDROOM. So we had to carry everything back down to the car (thank god we rented a car!!) and go back to the front desk where the girl argued with my that she gave me a 1 bedroom. After argueing for 15 minutes the manager who was standing right there but not offering any help advised her that she gave us a studio. Then it was they didn't have anymore 1 bedrooms.....which I did not believe as the hotel is HUGE! after advising them they are giving me a refund or finding us a 1 bedroom they finally found us a room. They don't help you until you are rude with them and that is very bad customer service. This hotel is like an apartment complex....so if you are wanting to check out the different areas and pools you will want a car. It is broken up into different sections. Our room was renovated so that was nice. My family rented the 2 bedroom with the jacuzzi tub and it was pretty large and was also renovated. We were in the Lakes area. We had a balcony but there were HUGE evergreens so you couldn't see anything out of the screened in porch. This hotel was just too large for us and we didn't spend enough time there to make it worth the extra cost....we were too tired to cook after getting back to the room. We did have a stove top, microwave, dish wasther but not an oven. My family had the 2 bedroom that had a complete kitchen. Very close to many many restaurants and Walmart. Any restaurant you can think of is near there. But you will want a car because this place is huge. And make sure that they give you the room that you paid for!!! We stayed in a one room villa. Just right for the two of us. Included kitchen & washer/dryer. Everything was new and well maintained. Resort had 7 pools. Some had little bars and restaurants next to the pool. Zimmie's restaurant by the pool was a sports bar where my husband watched Sunday football. Only complaint was that the room could use some more soundproofing. Luckily, the next room was fairly quiet. Overall, very pleased with our stay.

The rooms are wonderfully decorated and really spacious and confortable for a family. Main bedroom is huge! 3 televisions and a beautiful full kitchen!!

Hotels.com gave me a price that was less than half of what is usually charged for the room I got. It fit my family of 6 very comfortably. We could have had our entire vacation at that resort! The pools were great, and there was plenty of food available on site.

I only have a few complaints I'd like to point out. 1) The check in process was a nightmare. You can't check in one minute early! Any questions you have for the entire stay need to be directed at the person who checked you in. You can't speak to anyone else. They'll keep referring you to the same person that checked you in even if that person is busy and the others are sitting around doing nothing! 2) The sheets were stained. Housekeeping rectified the problem immediately! 3) We paid for a coupon booklet when booking. They forgot to give it to us at check-in so we had to go back for it. Other than that, the condo we stayed in in the Lakes building was gorgeous, the room was spotless, we requested a crib and it was outside the room when we checked in. Housekeeping staff was wonderful! Make sure you take the phone off the hook immediately upon entering the room or you'll receive non-stop calls from the hotel to sell you a timeshare. Don't order delivery from anywhere other than on the hotel site or you'll have to go pick it up at the gate. There a numerous pools that are spotless and beautiful. Very conveniently located to Disney. Check out is early (10:00) and check in is late (4:00). Overall, it's definitely worth the money!!!

We were given a 2 bedroom townhouse and offered $50 off per day if we selected no-maid service- great price. There more than enough towels for my four night stay and complete laundry room. Second level did not have a television.

We were given a room in "Cascades" that had not been renovated. The decor was outdated, but bearable. The musty smell was bothersome, but we bought some Febreeze and it smelled better after a day or two. The room layout was great...we had a two bedroom villa and it accomodated my family of six very well. Very spacious and had everything that we needed.

Great room for the money" If don't mind timeshare presentations don't take the gift and you want be obligated. Everythingelse is enjoyable otherwise.

If you think you might get a renovated condo forget it. No matter how much they tell you they will do the best they can the odds are against you. I called 3 wks ahead, then 2, then 1, and the day of before our flight and each time was told 'It shouldn't be problem'. When we got there they said 'Don't have any' and could have cared less when I expressed my disappointment. We were told ours was the 'newest before the renovation'. I feel sorry for the poor saps stuck in the 'older' ones. The room had a rotten stench in it that never went away. Everything in the room was very dated and old. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Several nights were spent on the couch to spare my back.They had a brochure with a testimonial from someone from NY saying the resort market store prices were half what he sees in NY. Glad I don't buy groceries in NY. The prices at the resort were realistically about double what you would see in your local store. On a positive note the grounds were kept up well and the recreation areas were pleasant. The location is near the major parks. Don't order pizza from outside even if you get a flyer in your door. They can't get through security, which they don't tell you, and by the time you go to the security gate to get it it's cold. Renovated room would have helped my review considerably. Otherwise the room was a dump compared to what their web site shows. Sorry Sheridan. Just trying to help fellow travelers.

This time stayed at this resort as a paying guest under the guise of the Sheraton hotel chain, compared to when we stay here under our weekly timeshare period. The grounds are always so well taken care of and clean. The pools are neat and inviting. Walk out your door to the outside, not a hallway, almost like being in a condo, since you're offered a fully equipped kitchen for your use. No wonder we keep returning to stay during either our timeshare week or as a paying Sheraton guest, we don't choose any other.

Sheraton Vistana is awesome. They have everything you need on site and more. There is no need to leave. We had a blast!

1. Interior was very old but clean 2. Houese keeping approach us at 9:30 to leave the room including phone call at 9.50 am (ceckout time was 10 am). 3. Front desk employees offered us a welcome package - in reality they would like you to join a promotion party to sell stuff. 4. Breakfast very expensive

We had an unrenovated unit, which was just fine. Washer/Dryer, full kitchen, large common area. Renovated units were really nice (we visited some with the tour to buy time shares). Parking was convenient and pools were good. Went prime time, so beach chairs were at a premium at the pools. Restaurant just so so, but not surprising. Staff was very good. 5 minutes from Disney, 15 minutes to Universal. Great for the larger group who needs a condo type unit.

Everything was very nice and functional. We loved having the huge personal spaces that made it feel like a home away from home. The downside is the selling of the time shares. They are relentless until you say NO. NO. The other thing is I presented the coupon for the $25 food voucher, but the credit never showed. I checked out at 5:30 am and a manager wasn't around so no credit. Not a big deal considering how happy we were with our stay. Next time I will ask for a reciept and verify the credit is on the account the next day.

The two bedroom is very spacious and clean. Ideal for a family.

The Hotel was really good. They put me into a just renewed block and was amazing. I was with another couple so they gave me a room with two bedroom and 2 bathroom. The experience was better than expected before reaching the hotel. 3 LCD TVs, Refrigerator, Dining room... I recommend

I was very happy with this hotel. I ask for a new room and recieved it. They ofcourse to sell you timeshare in it but refused. but the hotel is awesome.

This could have been an awful experience but it turned out to be very pleasant. The first room that I was given was small and noisy. The laundry room was right next to mine. I didn't check in until almost 10 pm and I was very tired. The last thing I wanted to hear was a washer and dryer going all night. The room was not at all what I expected. There was a tiny -19 inch television in the living room and everything was cramped. On top of that, the air conditioning didn't work. After complaining for 15 minutes and them telling me that they didn't have anymore rooms available I told them that I was checking out and needed a refund and that I was going to tell everyone I knew about how horrible the room was. They immediately found me another room three doors down. I didn't even have to move my car. That room was amazing. It was large and seemed to be worth the money. I only wonder why I was given the poor unit initially. I got settled in and fell asleep. The next morning I was burning up. Why? Because the air in this unit didn't work either. I called maintenance and they came almost two hours later; but they fixed the air. The rest of the trip was fine. It really is a beautiful resort with every amenity you can think of. It is worth the money, I would recommend it to friends and I will return. However, the beginning of the trip could have ruined the entire trip. Oh, did I mention that after you check in but before you can go to your room, you have to stand there for 15 minutes listening to a sales pitch? I kept telling the man behind the counter that I just wanted to go to my room and lay down. He said that he would make it as short as possible - no, just stop talking and let me go. It was 10 pm and after driving for three hours I was not in the mood.

Nice resort, They have alot of planned weekley activities going on. A very nice place to spend the week.

We had a great time at your hotel. The rooms were perfect for 5 people. The pool areas and the grounds were perfectly kept. The only compliant about the Sheraton Vistana Resort is the spiel the entire stay was for vacation sales. That is the only thing we would have changed.

We had a great room just make sure to request an updated model.

Put on third floor with infant, stairs only. Could not relocate to lower floor. Across the drive was construction with heavy equipment from 8 am to 8 pm.

Very satisfied with the hotel, hope to come back next year; but don't make the mistake of going to those "time shares" meetings... it is a lie and they just don't let you go (after 3 hours of listening!). One of the sales persons was extremely rude and offensive with us.

It's not just a hotel it's your own home away from home but better. You're on vacation. Lots of pools, sun and palm trees.

There marketing for this hotel makes it sound great. The price I paid for the room I was expecting just what they advertised. They interrupted our sleep while staying(the staff). Our neighbors were so loud they woke up our kids during the night. I called the front desk, but the neighbors kept up until 2am. I will never go back there. The rooms were old looking and checking in was a mess in it's self. The staff did not know what was going on. Check-in took 20 minutes. I stayed cool, but my family waiting in the car were not pleased with the wait. The rooms were clean though. I'll give them that. Think twice if you are thinking of going here with your family. I am not picky either. I'm quite the simpleton. That how unpleased I am with this organization.It has me blogging on this review. Hotels dot com should re-evaluate there review on this place.

OVERPRICED. NO GOOD SERVICE. YOU'LL ONLY LIKE THIS HOTEL IF YOU GET A NEW RENOVATED VILLA AND THAT'S ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. OLD VILLAS ARE AWFUL. NEVER GOING TO THAT PLACE AGAIN.

We are a family of 5. We rented a 2 bedroom villa. The layout was really nice. The area was great. The problem we had was that we called a week before our reservation and requested a newly renovated suite. We didn't get that. we got an older suite with a sliding door that didn't lock. The worse part was when we checked in, they pressed us to go to a time share meeting. If we would have known,we would have gone to a different hotel to spare us the hassle.

Good value but be prepared for daily sales calls. Bring your own soap, shampoo, conditioner and laundry detergent. Did not get the advertised $50 resort coupons that were supposed to be included with the "welcome package", a time share pitch.
