For a huge hotel I was impressed how personal our experience was. Staff remembered our last name from day to day, and even the size of our party when it came time to be seated at a restaurant.The food quality was excellent. However, they claim to have something like five restaurants, but really they have two restaurants and several bars that sell food. […] Those two restaurants are pretty similar, too. If you are driving there, note that you actually have to enter the hotel next door from the main highway then drive next door to get to the Hilton. We traveled to the Hilton Los Cabos with our two children, ages 5 and 8. They had a promotion going on the week we were there so kids ate free, which was fabulous! We ate at the Mexican restaurant several times and it was very good. All the different kinds of salsa and fresh guacamole and homemade chips... we were in heaven!! I had Ceviche and it was delicious, we ordered some sushi also and it was delicious The kids pizzas were pretty darn good also = they have an outdoor pizza oven there at the pool kitchen. Our room was perfect, not too big, not too small. We didn't spend much time in the room, so it was fine for our needs. Great maid service and turn down service each night. We had a king suite next to the kids club. Family of 4, kids age 4 and 6. Beautiful beach. We snorkeled and went horseback riding. The food is good and Imelda in the kids club is excellent.

This hotel is beautiful. The views are fabulous from the rooms, restaurants, and pools. Unfortunately I will never stay there again because of the bathrooms. There are shutters above the tub that open into the room. They are flimsy and allow every tiny noise and smell to escape into the room. There is a door on the toilet closet but it is glass. There […] is a big gap all around it, which also allows sounds and smells to escape. The glass is opaque but you can still somewhat see through it when the light is on in there. The biggest issue of all is the lack of a vent fan in the bathroom. All of these "features" combined with two adults with Montezuma's revenge for three days made for a miserable experience. (We only ate at the Hilton's restaurants or highly rated restaurants in Cabo San Lucas and drank only bottled water.) Read more

This was our first time in Los Cabos and we thought this was a beautiful resort! The infinity pools were wonderful & extremely well maintained. The 2 hotel restaurants were very good but meals were MUCH higher priced than we expected for Mexico (such as the buffet breakfast $30 and continental breakfast $20 USD).. The concierge desk was extremely helpful, […] friendly and knowedgeable. Our room was spacious with a nice size patio and 2 lounge chairs (first floor, facing ocean and pool). The room did not have a coffee maker, which did surprise us. There was no nightly entertainment at the hotel so we ventured into town for that. Our biggest disappointment was discovering that the hotel does not provide guests any kind of transportation to and from town. A round trip taxi was $50 USD, which seriously chipped away at our vacation budget! Although a city bus service is available, we were advised by guests and employees that it wasn't reliable. We thought the hotel would at least provide a few shuttle trips a day for a nominal cost. The expenses of taxi trips affected how we were able to spend our money at the hotel. Aside from that, it really is a great resort to relax at. We were there for Thanksgiving week and the hotel seemed to be about 1/2 full and was surprisingly quiet. Although we would recommend it highly, we would personally consider an all-inclusive for ourselves next time. Read more

We had a bit problem with the room being too close to a party that went on until late at night. We could not sleep the first night. Best check-in experience we've ever had at any hotel....gave our name at the gate driving in and were met at the front lobby with all our paperwork moments later as we got out of our car. The staff then got our whole family drinks and whisked us up 2-hours before our check-in time and did the check-in process in our room. It was awesome. I saw them […] check in other guests at the front desk in the normal manner (but with drinks and very solicitous), so I don't believe they are always able to do this, but it was a treat for our family who was eager to check in and get down to the pools. The spa was great--very relaxing and very professional. The fitness room was clean and spacious, and it had great equipment in good repair, including free weights, a few weight machines, BOSU ball, and Precor brand of cardio machines with t.v.s on each machine (elliptical machines, one stair climber, treadmills and bikes). Wish there was a view of the ocean/property while you worked out, but all-in-all, it was an excellent hotel fitness center. Service everywhere was amazing, particularly the poolside waiters, front desk staff, concierge, car valets, George of the Jungle (checked out footballs, soccer balls, etc... to the kids at the pool), inside the spa, and at the Mexican/International restaurant. great family hotel. exceptional service - this was our second time back and we saw many familar (staff) faces. The beach is one of the few where you are able to swim in Cabos. Wouldnt recommend long stays in Cabos though (say more than a week) as there is not too much to do.

Beautiful resort with stunning views of the ocean. The resorts was very clean and the service is fantastic. I found the prices for food, drinks, ans services (internet) in line with other resorts. The ocean had a bit of an undertow, but it was certainly swimmiable. The one down slide is the location since its far from down town Cabo.

This hotel is very isolated from everything. It actually sits between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. If you want to leave the hotel taxis will charge you a minimum of $20 each direction. Rooms are quite old... consider we were in a one bedroom suite and it was just comfortable, we had a couple of problems with the bathtub and the TV, but it was solved immediately. The food on the property was great for hotel food, but incredibly expensive ($5 for each water, $40 for breakfast buffet per person, $30 for a sandwich kind of thing). Before booking this trip I read a lot of reviews to get familiar with the hotels I was considering and the Hilton had really good reviews, I am so happy I chose this Hotel. I am a very picky person when it comes to cleanliness and this hotel lived up to reviews about being very clean. We stayed in an ocean view-king bed-standard room, super comfortable […] bed, nice clean sheets, they clean your room twice a day, night time they come in and leave the bed ready with 2 chocolates on top, really nice, big shower, tub, pretty mexican decoration. Hotel has 2 beautiful pools, heated 24 hours with swim up bars, right next to the beach, you have service even if you go to the beach and hang out there, I was really impressed with the architecture of the hotel but most of all the impecable customer service of every single employee I encountered. I live in Las Vegas and our hotels don't come close to treating their customers the way we were treated unless you are a high roller. If you are looking for a party hotel this is not the one for you, which is exactly what we needed and got. It's situated in the middle of San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, we rented a car but you can take cabs or the bus to the towns. Food is very good and a little on the pricey side, I recommend the Italian Fenicia and hit the Deli for really good sandwiches. I am bringing my sister and family next time. Read more

Well, disappointing in respects to reservation staff working with our room request. My husband and I requested a room with two queen beds and partial ocean view. However, our room came with a view of a huge trash dumpster and a parcel of land separating the resort were we staying from the resort next door. Sure, we requested another room, but to no […] avail. Let me start by saying, I have never written a review until now. We just returned from our one week stay, June 9th-16th at Los Cabos Hilton. We usually vacation in Hawaii, but this time we wanted to try something different. We chose Cabo San Lucas, because of the short flight from LAX. Compared to other nice hotels - Westin, Sheraton, Marriott & Hyatt, the service at Los Cabos Hilton was the best! From the welcome drinks, to our beautiful, spacious, clean room on the 6th floor, with incredible view of the resort, the infinity pool and the Sea of Cortez. Free coffee & pastries in the lobby until 7am, free cabana by the pool & all the towels you wanted. Special touches like complimentary fresh fruit cabbobs in the morning, eucalyptus infused cold towels for your face in the middle of the day & fruit popsicles in the afternoon made the day by the pool extra enjoyable. My daughter and I also loved the complimentary daily 5 min. massages by the pool. Being able to order delicious food & drinks from both of the restaurants by the pool without having to leave the comfort of our cabana was great. All the waiters were wonderful, always checking to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the pool which was never crowded, but we also made use of the sometime swimable beach. We loved our stay @ the beautiful Los Cabos Hilton & can't wait to go back! Read more

This is a high quality hotel that had exception staff. We ate in two of the restaurants and both were very good. The staff was helpful on arrival, getting a valet vehicle, service at the pool and restaurant. You really don't need to leave. It is a distance from Cabo as the only real negative.
