Beautiful hotel villas are spacious and the bathrooms stunning. Staff are lovely and the facilities great - shame that not much to do in kids club apart from computer games unless you want to pay extra but the children still had funGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We are expats who love to travel. We have been to many different countries and stayed in many different hotel chains. We keep coming back to Marriott because we know what we are getting, no matter where we are in the world: clean rooms, good service, and a comfortable place to stay. This particular hotel was phenomenal. We were concerned initially to […] travel to Thailand, knowing that water quality is an issue [and we have infant twins and were concerned that they might drink the bath water]. Everything was fabulous, though. Complementary water is given out each day by the maid service. The hotel restaurants are clean and we never got sick in the 2 weeks we were there. We booked excursions and ate at the restaurants they took us to, and no one had any problems. Every person we encountered at the hotel, from the front desk people to the cleaning staff, were friendly and helpful. We had a 2-bedroom villa that was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. The facilities, from the lobby decor and torches at the front entrance, to the pools and lush landscaping, were gorgeous. Our children, 13, 10, and infants, all felt welcome at the kids' club. It was a great vacation. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Fantastic Resort - Paradise in Phuket"
This hotel is amazing. The Marriott Phuket Beach Club shares the grounds of the JW Marriott. We had a 2 bedroom villa which was beautifully appointed. The beach club rooms are all garden villas with only a short walk to the pools/ beach. The gardens are amazing - the best I have ever seen in any resort. Our 2 boys aged 11 and 8 loved the kids club even […] though it was undergoing refurbishment and was temporarily relocated for our stay. They went 4 times during our 8 day stay, and as it was open until 8pm, we even managed to have an early romantic dinner as a couple at Ginja restaurant (which was outstanding). We ate at all of the restaurants (although never ate at the buffet) and thought they were of the quality they should be for a five star resort. Prices were reasonable - Siam Deli was a favorite as it covered all bases. The pools were amazing - loved all 3. The gym was also great. Turtle Cove shopping was only a short walk away - we had breakfast at the Coffee Club a couple of times which was good value for money. We booked a day tour to Phi Phi / Maya Beach / Ko Phi Phi Le (swimming in that lagoon was surreal) through the resort. It was hassle free and well organized - being picked up and dropped back at the resort was worth what we paid. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review
宿泊料金に見合ったホテルでした 朝食ビュッフェは、ちょっとお高いかな でも、プールサイドで注文したピザは焼きたてで美味しかったので 毎日食べちゃいました ピザ窯のそばで注文するといいですGenuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review

Lovely place, quiet. This place is really far frm town(an hours+) , not for those who likes to move about, shop, eat, nite life! but for people who juz wanna chill for hours and do NOTHING! Was a Blessing that they have this little place call Turtle Mart,(5-10min walk depends where your humble abode is in the Resort. They have a coffee joint which serves VERY reasonably priced food, Thai express and Swensons. They also have a little minimart where u can get fresh vege, frozen meats, other essentials for you to fix your own meal back at the resort. But their prices are "Rather High":( If planing to stay here you may op to bring all your dry goods and cook up a storm, the kitchenette is fully equipped! There's only 2 "local taxi stands which we saw and so had no choice but to pay hefty sum juz to get out of this place! we took a one way to the trick eye in town for 1500 and there we found a fellow that took us around for 6 hours and back to the resort for 2000 only! Will not be back to this resort!:)

"Exceptional Property Made Phuket"

Phuket is a beautiful place. But for our family, the Marriott made the vacation. Top to bottom, everything the resort did was top notch. The staff was amazing. Everyone in every department always greeted us with a smile. Every time we'd return from a trip around the island, Saleaman would be there to welcome us with a crisp salute and click of the heels. The concierge team always greeted me by name and asked if everything was going well. The wait staff and bartenders were always pleasant and helpful -- even if we were the only people crazy enough to swim up to the pool bar in near hurricane conditions. We're not newbies to travel. We stay in a lot of hotels and resorts around the world. And the Marriott was five-star quality (yes, compared with other five-star resorts). We stayed in a two-bedroom villa and it was bigger than our first condo. Beautifully appointed and serviced everyday (a rarity for time shares). The resort advises against drinking the tap water and housekeeping made sure we received bottled water every day. We had a third-floor villa with a balcony. The first floor villas had their own patio with chaise lounges. The resort itself is exceptional. It's laid out with the lobby and common areas in the middle of the property. The hotel rooms are adjacent to the main building with the villas bracketing the entire resort. There are three pools -- each with a slightly different personality. Ours, the south pool, had the aforementioned pool bar. The grounds are richly landscaped with serpentine pathways leading to the pools, restaurants, and facilities. Some reviewers have mentioned that location of the resort (Mai Khao) as a disadvantage. I'd disagree. I think it's a major plus. Unless you plan to focus on a single activity in Phuket, all your destinations will be far-flung. If you want to party everyday, by all means stay in Patong. Or scuba dive everyday, pick Chalong. But if you plan to sample everything that Phuket has to offer (as we did) you'll end up taking shuttles or taxis long distances -- regardless of where you stay. So why not stay in a place as nice as the Marriott? Other reviewers complained about the lack of food options and that the restaurants were expensive. Are the food choices limited? A qualified sort of. If you're looking for inexpensive, local restaurants, the selection is limited. You'll have to check out the food carts that park outside the Turtle Village (an okay option) or hike or bike to a small stretch of seven local restaurants near the lake (ask for directions). But if you're looking for high-quality food, the restaurants at the resort are great. If you're used to restaurants in California (as we are) the prices are really quite reasonable. And the food quality and presentation is exceptional. We all rated the Thai food at Ginza Taste as the best Thai we've ever had -- and we've had plenty including some very mediocre Thai food in Patong. And how can you beat a tasty meal on the beach at the Andaman Grill? About the only thing that wasn't great about our stay was the weather. It was the rainy season and we got rain just about every day. But the concierge staff was even able to help with that. We'd booked a tour for an exceptionally rainy day and the concierge staff was able to rebook the tour (with no advance notice) for the next day. And, yes, the weather was fantastic. I can't say enough about how well we were treated. It was truly a pleasure.
"Vacation in paradise"

We just returned from a fabulous week at this resort. My friend and I arrived in the morning, hot and sticky from travel, and were greeted with a cold drink and a cold towel and a locally made woven bracelet. After check in, which was very smooth, we were informed our room was ready, even though we had arrived 5 hours before scheduled check in! What a relief! The room was beyond our expectations, very new, well laid out and we loved the patio area where we could see a little slice of the ocean and hear it when we sat out with our coffee in the morning, The resort regularly sprays for mosquitos, but we still needed to apply some repellent. We had a few bites one evening, but just picked up some repellent with a stronger percentage of DEET which worked just fine. The maid service was excellent, washed our dishes and they even left us a little towel animal family, so cute! The pool areas were all fantastic and since we were there during the "off season" there were not many people around the north or south end pools, but the family pool in the middle was pretty busy. We ate at the Andaman Grill, the fish was extremely fresh and well prepared, but could have used a touch more "oomph" in flavor. Our favorite was the Ginja Taste restaurant, ambiance, service and food were outstanding, a good wine list too! We also liked the Siam deli for quick bites to take away. It is important to understand, that since this is a resort in an out of the way area, the food choices at the resort are pricey, but there are some lower cost options nearby, particularly if you have a car, which we did not. We did eat at both Bently's pub and the Coffee Club at the nearby Turtle Market, good food, a little lower in cost. One of our favorite things was sitting at the lobby bar with a pre- dinner drink, and having the waiter entertain us with magic tricks! Very fun! And don't forget to visit the beachside massage kiosks, one hour for 400 baht, heavenly! We will definitely be back to this resort, it was the vacation of a lifetime.

"Another great stay"

We are a family of 4 (2 teenage daughters) and this was our second time at the Phuket Beach Club, we last visited 6 years ago, and we had another great holiday here. The villas are lovely, so spacious and well equipped. Our villa was cleaned every day, unlike some other Marriott Vacation club properties we've stayed in. The grounds are beautiful and the hotel is located directly on the beach, but we were unable to go in the sea at this time of year due to the waves. There are three great pools that you can use, we tended to use the North Pool as it was only a couple of minutes walk from our villa and it was usually quiet. The staff at the pool were very nice and kept our glasses topped up with ice water and would occasionally bring us fruit. We ate in all of the restaurants, they are expensive but the food and service was top quality. We hired a car at the airport for the week. It cost about £190 but was well worth it as we drove to a large Tesco about 30mins away and stocked up on food and drink to last us for the week. The Tesco was huge and very cheap. We also drove around the island, including a visit to Patong and a drive to a nearby restaurant one night. The gym is well equipped and the staff in there are really friendly. There are iced towels and chilled bottles of water available. There is also a good selection of books and DVDs to borrow in the entrance to the gym. There are massage huts along the beachfront, not run by the hotel, offering an hour's massage for 400 Bahts and the massages were very nice but with lots of other people around at the same time so my husband and I had a lovely facial and massage each in the Mandara spa. It was very expensive but the staff in the spa were so lovely, the rooms and location are amazing and the treatment was so relaxing. We love this place and it is one of our favourite Marriott Vacation club properties so we will be back again.
"Family Day in Phuket"

This is my second time stay at the resort. I find the place good for relaxation. You can spend whole day in the resort without feeling bore because you can enjoy the many facilities (cycling, swimming, gym, massage etc) available in the resort. If you want shopping you can walk to the nearest place called the Turtle Village. I stayed at the apartment (2 bedroom) complete with all the amenities (cooking utensils, washing machine, dryers etc); really made you feel at home. I will definately revisit again if time permits.
As it was first time for me I was so surprised at the size of Marriott. I enjoyed very much. And one of the staffs, JR, he made me much more fun. He was good at magics so he showed us lots of magics. And he greeted with a smile lots of times when we met. I wanna go again so much. Thank a lot.
"Week in Phuket"

We had a family vacation at the Marriott Phuket Beach club. Although we had seen pictures of the resort ,we were all pleasantly surprised at the location and the standard of accommodation and the facilities shared with the JW Marriott Hotel. We had a two bedroom villa which was very spacious and comfortable and had all the facilities like washing machine , dryer, iron and fully fitted kitchen ,flat screen tv in both bedrooms and the living area . The dining area was also spacious and there is a patio area that overlooked the garden area. The resort is approximately 20 min from the Phuket airport and is located in Mai Khao beach and is approximately 40 min from Patong beach. We were collected by the shuttle van that we booked ( paid) as we were a party of 6 .Checkin was handled very smoothly and all the facilities and restaurants were explained to me and the family..We were welcomed by female staff and offered handmade bracelets made by the villagers of the nearby fishing village..The resort shares the facilities with JW marriott and had 11 restaurants including Thai , italian , and international . It has extensive beach area that overlooks the Andeman sea , along with at least 3 pools including a children section. The tennis and gym facilities were available ,but we're giving a miss by all the family in favour over a relaxing time at the poolside. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are serviced daily The restaurants we tried were the Siam Deli for dinner or a light meal, the Cuchina for a fabulous Italian dinner ( make sure you reserve) and for breakfast at the Martiott Cafe and the Lobby bar All staff are very friendly as is custom for all Thai people. We planned the trip in August , considered to be in the rainy season, but we're fortunate to miss out on most of the rain. Overall the family had an enjoyable stay and look forward to revisiting Phuket and the Marriott Phuket Beach club
"Beautiful and amazing. "
We spent 7 nights here with family each in a two bedroom fully serviced apartment. It was amazing. The apartments have everything you could possibly need. They are stunning. Days were spent by the pool or taking part in the resorts daily activities. Kids loved the kids club which offers plenty to do. A visit from the baby elephant offered fun for everyone and the kids got to have a water fight with it in the pool. A once in a life time experience. The pool was just beautiful. Plenty of chairs and a lovely way to spend the days. We can not fault the staff. They were always so helpful and polite. Nothing to much trouble. The daily buffet breakfast offered so much choice. It's about $30 aus but can keep you going all day and really worth it. Kids under 4 free and half price till 12 years old. My husband and I did a cooking class at nearby Jw marriot. It was fun. Massages down at the beach are cheap and were visited regularly by friends. We will be back again. A fantastic holiday place for families.
