Beachcomber Beach Resort

Loved my stay and loved the hotel. It was perfect. The bar next to the hotel has live bands every night/day. The pool area was great fun and the beach is perfect. Not having breakfast at the hotel was a bummer but not even a block away is a great breakfast diner with everything you could dream of having.....wonderful

Everything was almost good but the guy at the entrance (valet parking) who is the first perception of the hotel for guests didn't know what to answer when asked questions about the hotel, his answer was "I don't know", "no Idea", no smile, didn't care at all. Front Desk agents were great, smiling and very informative.

The food at the outdoor Bar and Grill was very good, the live music was very pleasing and greatfully NOT as loud as the music going on at the neighboring hotel. The pool was clean and the Court Yard Fountain and walkway was very nice and clean. Not sure where all these other reviewers stayed. Having read some of the reviews on Expedia, I expected a lot worse, but we found the hotel modern, clean and pleasant. The beds were comfortable and the staff friendly, The bar was loud and I guess it would be a problem if your room was near it but we were further away so it was not a problem for us. […] We ate there in the evening and enjoyed the music and atmosphere. Had a great time while visiting family and friends in the area. My time at the Beachcomber was great as well Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful when needed. However, the following are some of the complaint we had: (1) bed facing the bathroom was somewhat broke, while my wife was lying down the leg somewhow collapsed on the left side. (2) there's no drinking glass and cleaning sponge for the dishwares in the kitchen. room was out of date and dirty. safe did not work. I killed a roach in the kitchen. beds had stains on them. buttons on tv did not work. walls very thin.I was here with two 12yrs old girls and was kept up all night with moans from the people in the next room. try to explain that to the kids.will never stay at this place again.

The stay was good - only suggestion I would make is for the mattresses to be turned over now and again - was rolling off the bed - I think everyone slept on the same side of the bed. The tiki bar was great and the employees were all so friendly and very helpful. Would definately stay there again.

Our room stepped out to a beautiful tropical garden and fountain. 2 pools and tiki hut bar that lead to the beach. Good food and music Everything you need without leaving the resort. Great people working at the resort. We cant wait to do it again at beachcombers.

Everything my wife and I needed were right on the resorts grounds. Indoor pools, beach access, outdoor bar and restaurant, live entertainment, night club and sports bar. Staff was very helpful and hard working. Only drawback is parking, very narrow access and spots.

The rooms were VERY - VERY Small, but the beds were comfortable. They have a ton of hotel staff and they take very good care of their guests. Although, we did ask for our sheets to be changed (which I didn't think was a big deal since we spend everyday on the beach) and they told us they will only do that every three days?!?! GROSS. Management and staff […] at the bar were lacking and even rude, which is too bad, because the beach bar is the coolest feature of the hotel. Nice pool and great ocean front location. Good walking distance to stores and restaurants. Offering guests a discount or free beach chairs would be a very nice ammenity. It was $20 a day to rent chairs in front of the hotel?!? And the hotel should really think about catching up with its neighboring hotels and get a hot tub. The beds are very old with no support, bad sleep nights. I have RA and was very sore from the mattress. Kitchen was not nice at all. Staff was very nice.No hot water in the early morning.Pool towels are too small. Staff was great.

This was a very nice hotel on a beautiful beach. There is a beach restaurant and bar on the premises. I am a music fan, but they played all afternoon and until the wee hours of the morning. Could not enjoy the peace of the surf and wind. Great place if you don't want peace of nature.
