"Quiet Spa-like atmosphere"
Loved this hotel! Quiet, beautiful, spa-like. Love the art! Only problem- the bottom sheet on the bed was too small and kept coming off during the night. Pillow top on bed made it very comfortable though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel for everyone."
Enjoyed staying here. Very clean hotel in a quiet area. The rooftop pool was amazing.Genuine Expedia guest review

"great hotel ! a bit of a walk though from all the"
we had a great time, this was am others day weekend trip with my mom (65 yrs old). the hotel was very nice. room was clean and comfortable. we had intended to use the pool and fitness room but didnt have a chance. i took a peek though both looked nice. the area was also fine, but i just didnt realize it is abt a 15-20 minute walk to canal st and then […] bourbon st. frenchmen st is even further. this wasnt a big deal for me but my mom got tired more easily so i would have preferred the location to be closer. we did have an excellent meal at cochon which luckily was on our street! we also took the bus all the way down magazine to the garden district and that was lovely. so overall great hotel but only if you are ok with walking (a lot). Hotel staff was friendly the only real negative was my wife is very sensitive to smell and the had a very heavy floral candel going in the lobby that bothered herGenuine Expedia guest review
"To relax in busy NOLA"
The French Quarter is a busy place, so this is the ideal place to relax. Friendly staff, nice new hotel, the warehouse district is nice (check winebar W.I.N.O. just down the street) and visit the WOII museum, all walking distance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Lovely boutique hotel in warehouse district of New Orleans...away from chaos of French quarter, but within walking distance. Many terrific restaurants easily accessible on foot. Fitness is important to me...their gym is limited to treadmills and ellipticals, so I found an amazing gym, the New Orleans athletic club, to use. Located in a beautiful historic […] building it had every type of fitness machine available plus a large pool and lots of classes. Back to the hotel...one big complaint was front desk. We had a refrigerator that barely worked...it took us calling 5 times to finally get it changed and even then it didn't work!! I'd also called the hotel prior to check in inquiring about area tours...I had to be transferred to 3 different people because no one was knowledgeable. Finally I was told a message would be left for concierge to call me back...no one ever did :(. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Adequate with potential"
This hotel is in a great location and the "art" idea is a good one. There are some very good displays of original art. It was the attention to the little things that bothered me. The front windows were all dirty, the fabulous hand blown glass light fixtures were in need of dusting, the furniture was cheaply constructed. The maid service was adequate. […] The hair that was overlooked while cleaning the shower was rather inexcusable but it was the only negative about the room service. I might give them one more chance, jury is still out. "Good spot for proximity to restaurants & galleries"
Liked Renaissance Arts hotel very much. Our room was quite large. Really interesting neighborhood. Lots of terrific restaurants very closeby - walking distance! Interesting galleries on Julia St. Ogden Museum more interesting than we imagined. Ditto WW II museum! One complaint: $12 a day fir WiFi access in the room!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place to stay"
Friendly and polite staff, room was clean and conmfortable. Would definately stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was great, our room was clean, the staff was nice. The hotel was in a great location. I had my son, and the Children's Museum was in walking distance so that was great. We both enjoyed the atmosphere. No complaints!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Modern Hotel."
I enjoyed that the hotel was a bit away from the French Quarter. Only thing I can complain about was not enough lounge chairs near the pool.Genuine Expedia guest review
Rooms allow for more than the normal amount of noise - from hallway and adjacent rooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
First - there is a $35/night valet fee that is not mentioned until you pull up to the hotel to check in. Not a huge deal, but defintely affects a budget. That said, the valet guys were great. Second - my wife and I came back to the hotel on wednesday night around 10 ready to jump in the rooftop hottub. It was unbelievably dirty and had not been cleaned […] all day. The maintenance guy came up and informed us that he was only allowed to clean it after pool hours had ended(11PM). Very disappointing. We complained to the front desk and they offered us $50 for breakfast at the hotel restaurant, which was nice but we were really looking forward to a soak in the tub after a 10 hour drive. Those two things aside the hotel was very enjoyable, comfortable and clean. There is a great steak restaurant around the corner (5 min walk) named 'La Boca' and a fun bar across the street - "Lucy's". Both are definitely worth checking out. French Quarter is a bit of a hike in dress shoes, but a cab ride is about $10 including tip. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent choice for the money"
Very convenient, excellent staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hot tub was broken the entire week I was there even though I was told twice that it was working. When I went up it was either locked or the jets were not turning on or it was not hot. So that was disappointing since that was the main reason I selected this hotel. Other than that I had no complaints except for that the windows didn't open (after moving […] from one of the larger rooms which had inside windows facing the courtyard). Good location for convention center. Club room was perfect since they had fresh fruit and vegetables every day. Nice gym, steam room ok, nice roof deck pool. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I loved this hotel - it was like staying in an art gallery in some respects. Great front desk, bell hop, and concierge service. Clean well-kept rooms. Just a bit of difficulty with amenities supplied through housekeeping. And sidewalks in surrounding neighborhood were a bit difficult to navigate in high heels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convention center perfect"
Awesome, clean, great location and a short walk to convention center, very convenient. No complaints at all!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great, great, and great!!"
Wonderful experience. My only complaint was that I could here someone having "relations" in one of the rooms from my room in the middle of the night? Walls too thin:-/ But it wasn't a deal breaker Great staff, good restaurant, just good all around!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"$6 Taxi to French Quarter. Friendly Staff."
Sound proof not very good between the hallway and the rooms. Some guests came back after midnight, and talked very loud. We were awakened by the noice. The hotel staff didn't do anything proactively to ask them to be quiet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We enjoyed our short stay very much. I thought the hotel was beautiful and the service was excellent. The beds could be a little softer though! It is definitely within walking distance to the French Quarter and they were very helpful with directions. I would definitely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location, great service"
This location is close enough to many of the tourist sights and close enough to public transportation to check out some less than tourist-like sights that are great for anyone who loves a variety of options. Arts, Audubon Park, City Park, Shopping, The French Qaurter. The staff was pleasant and very helpful when asking about places the 'locals' go. […] I'd stay here again. "Like an old friend"
I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years and have always been very happy with the accommodations. However the restaurant in the hotel has changed names as well as management and is just not the same. In the past I thought it was quite good but it is now mediocre.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Must stay again"
This hotel was beautiful. The rooms were nice and clean. I will surely stay here again. There was a nice restaurant located just across the street called Lucy's, the wings, burgers and drinks were delicious. Harrahs and the river walk were only about three blocks away.Genuine Expedia guest review
I visited New Orleans for a family weekend. I chose Renaissance Arts because of its location and reputation. I found it comfortable and well appointed.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Really excellent warehouse area hotel"
Excellent location in the warehouse district, you can walk from here to the WWII museum and many fantastic restaurants in mere minutes. Riverwalk and the French Quarter are a bit further, but still close. The staff were excellent. I lived here for 3 years and that can definitely be hit or miss, so finding a hit is a big plus for this place. From the […] valet, to the front desk staff to the maids, everyone was helpful, cheerful and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the rooms spacious, especially the executive room. The only hiccup of the entire stay was a loose faucet head. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Comfortable, Clean, and Quiet"
I stayed here for a business trip, with business at the convention center. The hotel overall was very nice. It is in a quieter area of downtown, which is great for business. The amenities are also upscale. The only negatives are: the breakfast buffet wasnt that great (may have been a bad day for them), and the shampoo and conditioner are mint/basil, […] which is an odd combination to me. I will definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Service from staff was great but the carpets were extremely dirty. My 11 month old is still crawling and everyday her pants were black on the knees before we made it out in the morning. Other than that the hotel is nice as is room service food and restaurant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Cleanliness of your room: The room was fantastically clean. The cleaning staff even comes in every day to make your bed, replace your towels, and clean the room. Quality of the staff and their service: The staff was great. They'll do everything from hailing you a cab to bringing you dinner. However, the business services of the hotel are a little lacking. […] The computers they have available for use are extremely slow, dialup-esque machines. And the printer to which they're connected malfunctions a lot. My friend and I were trying to print boarding passes before we left and the whole affair took about an hour. But the staff quickly called someone to fix the printer and they were more than helpful during the process. Comfort of room: Very comfortable, save for two things. The AC seemed to spray directly onto my bed, making me very cold, while the bed of my friend did not receive any AC. Secondly, the bathroom was very small. Condition and upkeep of the hotel: Everything was great. The whole hotel has this great aroma to it. I'd love to know what they spray/how they get that scent to linger like that. We arrived before noon, but were given rooms immediately. My colleague's jacket had been soiled in th airplane's overhead bin and he needed to wear it to dinner. Even though we had missed mpick up time for the dry cleaning, the desk staff called the cleaner to see if we could get same-day service, and then took it there for us. "New Orleans 8/2-6/12"
Front desk was very helpful with questions, tours, and recommendations. Valet service was extremely attentive and recognized us on site. Housekeeping met all our expectations even my wife's. Had a executive suite over looking front street, not courtyard. Highly recommend upgrade to executive sized room. Lunch & breakfast in hotel was tasty, properly […] priced and with good service. Location required 4-5 block walk to most areas or tram but felt safe walking. Emeril's in adjacent block. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Would come back here for sure!"
Within walking distance to some of the more famous party areas like Bourbon Street. It was far enough away from those areas that it was quiet at night. The decor and art work were lovely. The cleanliness of the hotel and the attentiveness of the staff were outstanding. Close to The Butchershop which was our favorite place for lunch. There is also a […] bar called Lucy's that is across the street from the hotel that was a nice little spot for cocktails and beer. Also close to Harrah's and Emeril's. "Great hotel in a great neighborhood"
The hotel was clean and conveniently located between Garden District and French Quarter. Surrounded by chic galleries, funky bars, great restaurants and nice shops. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. "Nice area to stay"
My stay was good. The only problem I had was checking into my room. I arrived after check-in time and my room wasn't ready. Check-in time was 4pm so I waited for an additional hour and my room still wasn't ready. I was given another room which was not the room I paid for. My room was supposed to give me club level lounge access but my key didn't work. […] I went to the front desk and was told to knock on the door. Not a good response but other than the hotel is located in a great location. You are close to some of New Orleans attractions and some good eating. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
