Have stayed here before: clean, modern hotel with friendly (English speaking) staff. The hotel is s short walk from the center of town. Nearby bus/tram stops to get anywhere in town and even connect to the bus to FRA airport. Not too much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel near the corner of two busy streets.

I needed to be in Darmstadt for one night and was surprised at how expensive hotels there seemed to be. The Ibis was one of the less expensive choices, but I was worried due to the negative reviews regarding noise. However, this was not a problem at all (though I did request a room away from the street). The hotel is recently renovated and my room was […] clean and comfortable (although the bed could have been softer). The bathroom had no tub, but the stand up shower was roomy and the water pressure excellent. In-room internet was an extra few EU for 24 hours, but well worth it - the signal was strong. The hotel is also conveniently located between the train station and Luisenplatz (although the neighborhood directly surrouding it is nothing special). I would definitely recommend this hotel! Typical IBIS standard, clean comfortable rooms, somewhat industrial feel but the staff was very friendly and all were very fluent in English. The location is very convenient to the tram system but is a little bit off by itself. Get a pass for the tram (day or week), it will make your visit a lot nicer.

The room looked lovely and welcoming and the bed, pillow and bedding was extremely comfortable. We were there for 3 nights and slept well every night. We had requested a room away from the road and this enabled we had no traffic noise as we prefer to sleep with the window open. The bathroom was more than adequate and soap was provided for shower and […] sink. We did take our own kettle and european extension lead and this was used frequently for hot drinks in the morning and at night time. (The only available electric point was halfway up the wall so the extension lead was invaluable and it also enabled us to recharge our mobile phones.) The hotel was just a five minute walk away from the town centre and ideally situated. It is also quite close to the railway station. We did not try the breakfast at the hotel, as we met up with family during the day. There was no wifi in the bedroom either, which was a surprise. This hotel is located at 15min walking from HBf. I arrived Darmstard night and walked to the hotel. The way to the road is dark and under repairing, which forced me to feel embarassing. The rool is wider than my prediction and Wi-fi is free at robby , I could stay confotable time . Price is reasonable compared with the case in Frankfult.

Clean, functional and friendly staff, but the price I paid seems to be slightly on the high side for the hotel standard offered. Probably very convenient when traveling by car, since a garage is situated right under the hotel. 5-10 minutes walk to town centre, 10-15 minutes to central station.

Jednoduchý , dobře udržovaný hotel v centru, cenově příznivý /noc 67 E / ,asi 10 min. od hl.náměstí, pokoj čistý, možnost dokoupit snídaně, garáz v suterenu, již druhý rok bez poplatku . Spokojenost.

Das einzige was ich bemängeln würde ist, dass man von der A5 her kommend einen ziemlichen Zirkus fahren muss um ins Parkhaus oder den nahegelegenen Parkplatz zu komnmen. Ansonsten sehr zufrieden. Sehr gut Betten mit sehr hohem Schlafcomfort. Fussgängerzone Darmstadt mit allen Läden etc. 5 Gehminuten entfernt (z.B. für Abends). Gerne wieder!!!

Darmstadt hat insgesamt ein eher schlechtes Hotelniveau. In diesem Umfeld stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis durchaus. Trotz Lage an einer Hauptstraße ist es bei geschlossenem Fenster fast lautlos, die Klimaanlage funktioniert dafür sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind völlig in Ordnung, ebenso das Bad.

Bra service, vi fick hjälp att hitta matställe väldigt sent på kvällen. Ett äventyr i sig att komma till parkeringen i källaren med en väldigt smal infart!

Si frankfurt tiene feria y los precios de los hoteles están por las nubes, siempre puedes acceder a este Holiday Inn con precios mas baratos..A tan solo 15 minutos en tren de frankfurt. Desde la estación es necesario coger un taxi. No tiene buenos servicios alrededor..
