The room has kitchen equipped with refrigerator, microwave, tabletop electric ranger, dishwasher and everything one may need for cooking and dinning. Hotel well maintained well, Room was clean except for every corner in the room has obviously never been vacumed, sure would not walk barefoot. My main issue was that their was five people staying in the room, one person had to sleep on the pull out couch with no sheets or blankets, called front desk four times, and they never came. Spoke to an employee […] at the front desk the following morning regarding never receiving sheets or blankets, they said their was nothing they can do for me. They asked me if I would like some snacks or a drink from snack area next to the front desk. I found that to be extremely rude and a joke, considering their lack of service. Spent NYE there with my wife, will never go back. Paid for King, they gave us a queen room for people with disabilities. Weird crowd, rude service at the front deck, 30 mins to get your car from valet, cheap decor, loud and this goes on and on... Reading those other reviews, I might have gotten really unlucky!

We stayed overnight on New Years Eve after an NYE event close by. We were definitely impressed with the price considering the location and the holiday. The room was clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Great downtown location. Staff very pleasant & accomodating. Room was a nice size . Did not feel confined. The disadvantage is if you have a car. The parking fee is $45 per day including taxes. Avoid a car if possible. The cars are parked off site. Allow extra time for retrieval.

During our six night stay, our room was not vacuumed once and our bathroom was never cleaned. The hallway on our floor was not vacuumed regularily. A nasty spot on the carpet in the dressing area was reported the night we arrived but, it was never cleaned. On a positive note, the breakfast and front desk staff were all very helpful.

As it is always the case with these ratings, they are a ratio of cost to what you get. From this perspective, I rated the hotel a 5. I was in Philadelphia for a convention and checked all other hotels which were either cheaper (and therefore offered less services) or a lot more expensive (with only marginal difference in service). This hotel was 5 minutes […] from the convention center, the complimentary breakfast was very good (eggs, breads, fruit, French toast, waffles, yoghurt, etc.), free wifi, nice TV, and a very large room with kitchenette. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom, although not very big, was clean with all the usual amenities. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the fact that the room had a smell of smoke. nice hotel great pet policy as far as size goes most places wont let you have a large pet most limit you to less then 35 pounds. this hotel lets you bring almost any size my big dog is 95lbs little one is 20lbs got to bring both though they do charge for pets so be sure your ready for the fee.

My husband and I enjoyed the 1 bedroom suite. When travelling with a 1 year old its good to put her to bed in the bedroom and still enjoy our time alone. This kept her on her bedtime routine and still gave us a chance to enjoy the solitude with ourselves. The location was truly perfect! The liberty bell museum, horse carriage rides, old city, market […] street station, etc. all within walking distance of the hotel. I could go on and on but if you want to truly enjoy your visit to Philly start with this hotel being your place to stay. I was there for a three night stay, and was upgraded to a suite. The staff were completely helpful. The room was clean and perfectly fine. (There was some minor wear and tear in spots, but nothing too noticeable.) This was my second time staying there, and I would go back again. In Philly for a wedding, Residence Inn offered a great location relative to the wedding and all of the pre and post activities. My family and I were on the 14th floor with a City Hall View that was absolutely beautiful. I could just stare out the hotel window for hours. This hotel is right in the heart of the city, within perfect walking distance to anything you want to visit. Breakfast in the AM is a must, and was very good. I LOVE the location of this hotel! Across the street (literally) from the gorgeous city hall - I could look at those rock carvings all day long! The room was very quiet even with noisy neighbors it was great to have good floor, ceiling and wall insulation! The bed was so comfortable as well. Breakfast was a good combination of "real" food including […] cooked eggs, sausage, potatoes as well as a good selection of bread, muffins, bagels, fruit, juice, coffee and tea. The afternoon happy hours are great as well! Nice selection of salad bars and a variety of hot meals if you don't have time to go out or make your own. The kitchen was well equipped and maintained too. The full sized fridge, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher worked well and were very handy if you have a long stay and don't want to eat out all the time. The staff were most accommodating and friendly too. The only problem I had with the room was the water. There was plenty of water pressure but the hot/cold water was very strange. If taking a shower in the morning I would have to run the water for at least 4-5 minutes before the COLD water kicked in....otherwise I would get scalded. Same for the bathroom sink. In order to not waste water I just brushed my teeth with hot water every day. May be a minor inconvenience for some but I felt so bad wasting water waiting for a good temperature. Read more

The hotel is more like an apartment building. There is just a small lobby, although there is a nice lounge area on the second floor. The included breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of foods. My biggest complaint was that the entire hall on my floor (the 16th) smelled like curry, a spice that I am not particularly fond of. This hotel is very clean and in an extremely convenient location. When I first entered the room, a small area of the floor in the kitchen was wet because the dishwasher leaked.
