A nice hotel with an easy access to the town centre. Not a walking distance, but the bus stop is just around the corner and it takes less than 10 minutes to get to the old town. The room was spacious and comfortable. Parking available on the street, or for EUR 10 there is a secure underground parking. Unfortunately, breakfast costs an extra 12.90 euro, […] sauna another 12 euro, which we found expensive. Also, even though the breakfast is served until 10am, at 9.30 there was very little to choose from. The staff in the restaurant does not speak any English and we felt ignored during our evening meal. The waitress approached us only after we called her and to get her attention took quite a while... The reception staff is pleasant, but they do not volunteer any information. Maybe it is German way of behaviour, not sure - "What's your name... sign this... there's your key." Done. You would not hear the usual 'welcome to our hotel, have a pleasant stay' or explanation of the hotel amenities. When we asked how to get to the town, the receptionist answered, 'By bus.' Great, but where is the bus stop, what number, where can we get the ticket - these facts we had to squeeze out of him one question at the time. The hotel was clean, and comfortable. The food was good at breakfast and for the evening meals. The transport to/from the hotel is easy, a one minute walk to get the 62 bus which appears to run to time every day, at most 5 buses an hour, at least 2. A family ticket for the day is 7.5Euro's giving us access to all sites we needed to see.

Hotel benefits from a good quiet location, so not much traffic noise or anything to keep you awake at night. Does mean its a bit of a trek but there's a tram stop at munchen strasse about 0.4 miles away. I went with a friend and we ordered a twin room, but on arrival they gave us two singles which was nice so we could have a bathroom each. No tea or […] coffee making facilities though which I could have done with as everything is so expensive a cup of tea would have been great. Breakfast good, ours was included in the room price - lots of variety and buffet style so as were on a budget we tried to fill up for the day! Being a bit far out from the old town we ate in the hotel restaurant two nights which is an Italian which was ok but pricey. I was also really looking forward to a sauna after a long day out walking and stupidly thought it would be for the use of guests, but it was of course €12 per person each time, so I didn't use it. All in all, a good quiet hotel, a good base if you don't mind a walk and tram ride to the main centre. Read more

Don't get confused with this hotel as a 4 star hotel. Have no idea how this hotel is rated 4 star. I would give it a 2-3 star hotel rating. The price is low and is reasonable for what the hotel has to offer. So, not a great deal if you think for a 4 star the price is good.

I must admit, I did not expect such a good standard at all, however it is always nice to be positively surprised! As I had never booked a hotel using hotels.com, I felt a great relief when we arrived at 10.30 p.m., and the receptionist was expecting us. I like everything about the hotel. The hall is spacious and modern as well as the lift. The double room was very spacious with extremely comfortable mattresses, tv with several German channels, mini bar, desk w/mirror, wardrobe and some more small pieces of furniture. The bathroom is a good size too with a bath plus overhead shower, large mirror and a hairdryer. Everything is sparkling clean! The breakfast, not included, was absolutely fantastic, very large selection of different food served in a lovely restaurant. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who is planning to visit Dresden. The hotel was very clean and nice. It is bit far from either train station to walk but there is bus stop right across the road so it isn't that bad. No free wi-fi was very inconvenient. There is no free wi-fi hotspots around which makes it worse. Other than that, this hotel is really nice for its price. I'd come back again for sure.

Ein tolles, kleines Hotel nicht weit vom Dresdener Hauptbahnhof. Gut auch zu Fuss zu erreichen. Hatte ein schönes, kleines Single-Zimmer, was super bequem war und mit allem ausgestattet, was heutzutage Standard ist. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel, besonders das tolle und umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffett hat uns beeindruckt. Das Hotel ist gemütlich, die Zimmer sind klein aber fein (zumindest unseres). Das Bad hatte aber sogar eine Bedawanne. Das Beste ist, dass man vom Hotel zu Fuß die 500m zu Dresdens berühmtester Cocktailbar, der "Sonderbar" laufen kann :-)

Die Einrichtung ist alt,aber es ist Alles sehr sauber. Frühstück war sehr gut und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Es gab sehr viel Obst und Gemüse. Auf dem Zimmer im Bad habe ich leider eine Duschhaube vermisst.

Das Hotel ist absolut in Ordnung. Die Erreichbarkeit ist sehr gut, Bushaltestelle vor der Tür, in 5-10 Minuten im Zentrum. Der Kellner an der Bar war etwas unfreundlich, aber vielleicht war auch nur ein schlechter tag. Frühstück ist gut, alles in allem nur zu empfehlen.

Top Preis-Leistung; Busanschluss zur Innenstadt direkt vor der Haustür (<10min Fahrt); 24-h-Empfang; Speisekarte des Hotelrestaurants klang einschließlich der Preise sehr verlockend (haben es zeitlich leider nur nicht geschafft es selbst zu testen); Für manche evtl. ein Manko, für uns nur das fehlende i-Tüpfelchen zum "sehr gut": wir hatten ein Zimmer […] zur Straße im 1. Stock - bei gekipptem Fenster hörte man die Straßengeräusche und bei offener Gardine konnte man den Leuten an der Bushaltestelle vor dem Fenster auch "hallo" sagen. Da das Zimmer super klimatisiert war, haben wir einfach bei Bedarf das Fenster und den Vorhang zu gemacht und damit waren die störenden Sachen weg (Top Lärmisolierung!). Auf anderer Seite oder Etage des Hotels ist die Zimmerlage bestimmt ohne Manko. Read more
