Our experience was mixed. The front desk staff seemed annoyed that we inturrupted him at check-in. We arrived in a storm after driving 24 hours straight from CA. A little hospitality would have been nice. At check-out the staff seemed warm and wished us well. That part was nice. They had plenty of parking and a nice housekeeping staff. I was in hot spring for 2 nights paasing thru on my way to tx. I love the crystal mines - which was the reason for the pass thru town. It's an old motel and reflects what it is. Hotel has an overall feeling of run down. The room was a little barren. Cigarette burn holes in the bedspread. Minor repairs and painting around the site needed. Coffee in the room, but the plugs don't fit.

Room was clean and confortable. No Iron or ironing board in room but borrowed both from front lobby. Staff kind and helpful. There were three areas of concern for which I notified the front desk upon checkout. Blow dryer came loose from the wall and nearly fell into the toilet while I was using the dryer. The workers at the hotel were very nice, the location is good, right near all of the downtown shops! The room was clean, but their choice of cleaners could be better, it had a very chemical odor to the room but was not bad. Hotel is a little run down. Room is clean and everything in the room worked, but ice machine was sparce at best. In-room Wi-Fi was too weak to access. When I asked staff, they suggested that I step outside of my room to get the signal (actually saw some people doing this). No breakfast provided and restaurant on property is okay, but nothing to go out of your way for. Upon arriving shortly after midnight, we found a cockroach in the bathroom. A call to the front desk resulted in the attendant asking if we would like for her to come and get it, or the offer of a different room. For the price, it wasn't too bad. Most of the room was clean, but the chair had stains all over it, and my pillow was coming apart. You could tell the hotel was older. The breakfast in the cafe was good, and the person who checked us in was very helpful.

The toilet and entire room was NOT CLEAN to even a bare minimum. There was literally hair around the toilet, dust accumulation from who knows how long, a fowl order upon entering the room. Overall, totally unsatisfactory. I would not recommend this hotel for an over night pet stay. Awful!!!!

If you don't mind being woken up many times throughout the early morning by a cleaning lady, stay at this hotel. If you don't mind staying an older, more run down part of town, stay at this hotel. For the price, I can't complain too much. You get what you pay for. I just wanted to note that this hotel is on Expedia as a Pets Allowed hotel. However, the lady at the front desk said they do not allow pets. I told her our dog was small (16 pounds) and she said ok.

People yelling in the parking lot till 2AM, carpet felt sticky, the light switches were so dirty we didn't want to touch them, my wife used her elbow. We didn't even want to take a shower in the place, the sink did not drain properly and there was old flem in the sink from the last guest. maybe? Got there and they said they didn't have my reservation […] and had to pay a second time, still working on the refund. I've stayed in better places for less than half of what I paid for this dump. I don't normally write reviews, but I think people should be warned!
