The management is very professional and welcoming. The rooms supply all your needs, fridge, aircon, microwave, plasma t.v. Updated bathroom. Could use better lighting in bathroom for mirror. Pool kept nice and clean. My room was on the ground floor near the office and the maintenance closet so it was a little noisy but overall it is quiet. Is a short walk to the boardwalk. We never used our car. This was the second time we were there. It's like a Hyundai. You can't beat the price for what you get.

Enjoyed the stay. Only having stayed at many Courtyard facilities, I was a little disappointed not to find a frig, micro etc, in the room. Bathroom sink area a bit smaller than most. Other wise a nice stay.

It was a pleasant stay, and not bad for the money. (Given, of course, that the dollar is fast becoming worthless, and so prices for everything are wildly inflated.) This place must have been pretty nice twenty years ago. Now the signs of wear are evident everywhere... the carpet is worn and a bit ratty, the porcelain was chipped and stained in the sink, and everything seemed just... tired. Still, it was comfortable and clean, and I'd stay there again unless I found a better deal nearby.

Hotel Los Gatos is nestled in the historic downtown of Los Gatos, Calif. Located at the base of the Santa Cruz Mountains, the hotel is a short drive from Silicon Valley and the Santa Cruz coast. I was forced to valet park, and unable to unload all of my car, as the valet had the keys. The bell people were busy with an "event" and I was tired and didn't want to wait around. Took all I could carry, and the valet parked my car. He left the windows down and the car unlocked. Unfortunately, the next morning discovered my GPS had been stolen, and […] I had a long drive home. Reported the condition of the car to the hotel manager, and he appologized. Didn't realize the theft until I was a few blocks from the hotel, and knew it was a waste of time to go back, because the hotel claims no responsibility for theft. Also, the morning I was to leave, tried to park my car closer to the elevators for loading up. I noticed several of the housekeeping staff all moving their cars to the best parking spaces. Read more
"Great Hotel in Los Gatos"
We loved it here. Great location, amazing Greek restaurant and lovely rooms. Spring for the suite upgrade. It's not much more and the room was so cute with a great fireplace and patio. I only wish there was a real room service breakfast, but otherwise I have no complaints.

"Annual family visit"
Every year my parents and I come back to SF to see my brother's family. We had stayed in the W Hotel, Sofitel & etc. This year we decided to stay in the Los Gatos area. The Hotel Los Gatos has a beautiful architectural building. And of course, the staff is very polite & wonderful. We did enjoy our stay very much. The one thing that we would like to […] see as an improvement is to make sure that the toiletry is adequate for the number of occupants in a room. We got a little tired asking for more shampoos/conditioners & lotions. Other than that, we would definitely come back to this place on our next trip. Read more

Everything about this Hotel was perfect and then some. I would not change a thing. I will definitely be coming back.
"Lovely hotel, not a place to stay with children"
Certainly a lovely hotel, cozzy with a romantic feeling. In my opinion, not to stay with kids though. We stayed with our three boys. They are very well behaved, but at times we felt that our boys were interfering with other adult couples privacy that were there to chill out and relax. "Looking forward to return"
Nice hotel! Clean and very friendly staff. Excellent service. Facility was top notch. Only complaint is that this was a work trip and couldn't just relax at the pool.
