We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

My wife and I have stayed at the Courtyard in Mahwah three of the last four years to attend the NEAF astronomy show at the Rockland Community College in Suffern, just a few minutes away. We've always had good a experience and this stay was no different. The recent renovations definitely spruced the hotel up. The pool and spa area was nice, although the acoustics in the room left my ears ringing after a group of children in the pool were not using their "indoor voices." Our room was very clean, everything worked well, including the internet connection (which is a wired connection) and having a Dunkin Donuts right next door makes a stay here worthwhile in my humble opinion! Just grab a coffee and a bagel sandwich and go. The rates are competitive with other hotels in the area. If someone on here rates the hotel low, they must be comparing it to a five-star city hotel or maybe a destination resort. It's not that, but it is a clean and decent place to stay while traveling for business or short-term pleasure. I believe we will stay there again next year.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

Situated in Secaucus, Extended Stay America Secaucus - Meadowlands is close to Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center, Izod Center, and MetLife Stadium. Also nearby are Harmon Cove Outlet Center and Meadowlands Race Track.

"Newly renovated but...."
This hotel is conveniently located close to manhattan. But, staff were generally less than helpful. Also, we were put up in a room that had just been repainted, you can imagine what the aroma in the room was like? The check in attendant simply said, once you get past the smell, you may like the new decor...really?

"Lots of pro's and con's here..."
Pro: Super easy to get from hotel to NYC during the week - bus stop right in front of hotel during rush hours. Con: about a ten minute walk on partially unpaved sidewalks outside of rush hours and on weekends. Pro: Dunkin Donuts,Wendy's and an Indian food place within walking distance, and several places deliver to hotel. Con: Anything resembling […] a convenience store is a ten minute walk on partially unpaved sidewalks, though it is open 24/7. Pro: Front desk staff mostly very helpful, but don't let the manager call you a cab/car service unless you absolutely have to - and then be prepared to fork out $$$. Con: Weekly cleaning schedule was erratic, but the rooms were cleaned reasonably well. Pro: Free wi-fi! Con: a bit slow, and an upcharge for faster speeds. Pro: Kitchen in the room, with microwave, stovetop and fridge. Con: Cooking smells permeate the hallways, some not so pleasant. Rooms were a bit dated, but they had JUST started replacing TV's and some furniture as I was leaving. I expect this to be better my next trip, and if the two other nearby hotels are out of my price range, I'd stay here again. Read more
"Getting an upgrade"
in the next few weeks, this hotel will be undergoing a huge renovation. When that happens, it will be the best place around! It's so convenient to the park and ride to Manhattan. Close to shopping. Walking distance to a number of decent restaurants. And the staff is excellent! Have stayed there a number of times and keep going back.

if you are travelling in a budget to New York city, and have a car, then this is the best value for your money. at its rate, you have the best location convenience to NYC manhattan, and has restaurants near (within the block!) the hotel (subway, donkin donuts, wendy's, italian resto, and other restaurants). of course, the facilities are not at par with […] marriot, hilton and other big hotel names, but the room rates are very much cheaper without compromising the overall service they office. i would stay in this hotel again. "close to meadowlands"
the hotel room is not real clean just average one great thing is they have a shuttle from hotel to port authority which is about 1/2 hr ride... then shuttle back 3.5 each way rooms need to be cleaner....bathrooms need to be cleaned

"Extended Stay America Secaucus - Meadowlands"
I like this hotel for the most part. They allow pets, there's a nice place to walk your dogs near water. Additionally, it's only about 5 min drive to the train station to go to NYC; and about 5 min walk to ride the bus to go to NYC.

"our stay"
The room was clean and we did not mind having to refresh our towels, soap and other bathroom items when needed. The little kitchen area was nice and provided used for the few times we needed it. The only issue we had was with the wireless internet connection as I lost this service on my PC after using it for a few hours and could not get it back.

Daily cleaning is not at all done. Towels were not at all changed in our entire stay of 4 days.

Room was rather dated, bed only had 2 very thin pillows, asked desk for another pillow, but were told that they had no more.... Convenient location, not a bad value for the price...

"Secaucus not too bad."
This was a nice hotel that people obviously lived in permanently but it was well kept, clean and quiet. I like that they accepted pets.
The room was okay, but the bed was one of those very noisy krinkly ones that EVERY time you moved or turned over all you would hear is the krinkling. Disturbing to anyone else sleeping in the room with you.

The rooms were not clean and the beds are stinking. Not sure if they clean the rooms before giving to us. Carpets are sticky. Bathrooms are horrible. This hotel is the worst hotel in my expereience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Smallest TV In The World"
All Rooms have really tint TV's with no RCA jacks, a very big letdown if you want to use your DVD player. Otherwise all else was fine. Real nice and close to the city and all mass transit.
"Comfort for Cost"
My sister and I go to NYC every November to shop. This is our second time staying here. The location is perfect for catching the NJ transitto NYC. The beds are 5 star comfort but the carpet could use a steam bath because of the "Heavy Commuting Shoes Traffic." We like it for cost, location, comfort and convenience to highway. "Perfect for NY City or Jets game...."
Place could use an upgrade all around but it was well worth the money. 10 minutes to the city and 5 minutes to the Meadowlands complex -
"Outside appearances are deceiving"
The appearance of the hotel and lobby were nice. However, this is where the "positives" stop. Our room had a bed that made a lot of noise with the slightest of movements. Apparently, the hotel does not care, or is not aware of, that the faucet in the tub was dripping loudly. The walls were like paper in that we could hear the TV in the next room, the […] occupants talking (they weren't shouting, but speaking normally), and we could also hear them using the toilet and flushing it. "Decent Room for the price"
My husband and I just wanted to spend some quality time together away from the kiddos and all so the room was just fine. The complimentary coffee was good. The kitchen was practical and quite useful. If I would have to complain about something is that there was no shampoo, not sure if they are no longer complimentary, and I couldn't find the "vending […] machine" I was told was right down the hall. It wasn't that serious for me to find being that we brought some stuff, but if I was they I would have been slightly annoyed. "Easy to get to from Manhattan"
I was looking for cheap accomodation in NYC so wasn't expecting much from this hotel because of what I payed, however, it was perfect. The hotel and room were really clean and the room had everything we needed (iron+board, kettle, fridge etc). Staff members were really nice too, especially Vladimer. There isn't much in the area but there's a few restaurants […] across the road. The hotel doesn't offer a complimentary bus but its really easy to get there anyway.
