The room was a 'special concept' - it had a foyer (OK), big bathroom (OK), a double bed and a twin bed (??). We had reserved a queen bed, but for got to check thoroughly before agreeing (our bad) It appeared to be that someone was living there but was away - very special indeed. Not sure how often this room was left empty or gets checked since there […] was some questionable stuff in the twin bed. Luckily there were a stack of fresh pillow cases and sheets to remake the bed. "Affordable but dated."
I stay here because I find it very affordable. I usually stay 1 night while passing through town. The wireless internet is great, the rooms are very spacious and include a micowave and small fridge. Terry's Steakhouse next door and gas stations are nearby. It's quiet and comfortable. The only thing is that the decor, windows, doors and wiring are dated […] and in need of upgrading. "confused!"
Gordon didn't get to stay in this hotel. Apparently there is a Cochrane in Ontario as well as in Alberta! Perhaps for non so techno people, it could be in huge/bold letters, what province we are booking in. Just confusion on our end but all turned out well.
