Hampton Inn Ft Walton Beach - Fort Walton Beach

We had a wonderful time at the hampton. It was just great to walk in to our room to see how beautiful the room is. Especially when it was right on the beach made it super awesome. My family loved it especially the pool and how nice everyone was up there. I will definatly recommend this hotel to everyone.

For the size of the Hotel the breakfast area is a little small. Meat was conspicuousily missing on four out of six days of our stay. The toaster was more of a warmer and took forever to just warm my bagels. The food that was provided was good and there was plenty of it. The Hotel was superb. It looked very well maintained, very clean, with modern and well thought decorations. It seems that all the personnel put great attention to details. The rooms were super clean. I think it is difficult to find such cleanliness at a beach hotel full of tourists coming from the beach and for that price. The free breakfast was great, […] gave us plenty of time to eat from 6 AM to 10 AM, provided plenty of food and beverages. The hotel also provided free coffee, tea and fruits all day long. The pool was cozy and the water was warmed. The managers were outstanding. We were driving from Wisconsin and learning about that they let us go into a clean room at noon instead of asking us to wait to check in at 4 PM. I had a great time in that hotel and I will be back. Hampton Inn Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Disappointed with my first stay at a Hampton Inn. The bathroom floor had a film of soap residue. Also the shelf underneath the bathroom sink had a soap film. At checkout I told the the employee who check me out. They said they were soory, but didn't seem overly comcern.

We were dissatisfied with this hotel stay. The location was fine but the bed was extremely too firm. We have stayed at Hampton Inn's before and that was not one of their usual beds. We would not come back to this location in the future.

Ur NOT on the beach, ur n a parking lot& can't c the beach! Maids come banging on doors @ 9am,yelling wake up, & if u don't get up & stick ur head out acknowledging u heard them, they come n ur room & ask if ur up! Tub would not drain water, 4 of us had 2 shower & race 2 keep the tub from overflowing. Toilet overflowed n floor,shower head broke. Room […] was hot! Even maids complained how hot it was. Had 2 call maids back multiple times, they wouldn't vacuum or get all the trash or leave toilet paper! Breakfast was always out of forks,syrup,butter 4waffles & bagels! Tables never cleaned off& employees sitting down talking, singing & laughing. Pool is very small, 9 person limit! Would come back 2 room around 3pm & it still wouldn't have been cleaned yet, despite the 9am door banging & yelling! I felt like I was @ summer camp! Was a little disappointed that the ocean view was a small side veiw down a walkway from the balconey, but wasn't promised oceanview. The breakfast was very substantial and pleasing. The staff responded to requests quickly, helpfully, and in a friendly way. The room was clean and comfortable. Security was very good.

We booked this hotel sight un-seen just because it was a Hampton Inn, was on the gulf beach front, and we have always had great stays at Hampton Inns. The hotel staff was very helpful and willing to answer all our questions as this was our first visit to Fort Walton Beach. We choose Hampton Ft Walton Beach because we can count on Hampton to have comfortable beds and a clean, safe environment with friendly service. I only had 3 complaints and they were minor: The trash can at the entrance to the hotel was not emptied in the 3 days we were there and it was running over when we got there. The view from our room was of a […] maintenance area next door, which also belonged to Hampton, so we got to look at a wheelbarrow and supplies out of our window and balcony. (This could be remedied with a blind in front of the maintenance area and landscaping.) And the usually lovely poofy comforter classic to all Hamptons had been washed and had huge lumps in it that made it look like a dead body was under the covers. Loved it! Could only stay overnight but everyone we met, from the front desk clerk and maintenance crew to the managers were ALL SO NICE! The room was comfortable and quiet. We were right beside the pool and a quick walk to the beach...you could count your steps to the sand. I can't wait to go back!

We love Hampton Inn. Kudos to the staff for coming to our room immediately when we thought we may have a possible plumbing issue, which was resolved immediately after calling the desk. I was disappointed because I reserved it online and it stated I had a beach front room with patio. When we checked in I was told all beach front rooms were taken. I felt cheated. The room was clean and the staff were very nice but that did not make up for the disappointment.

Very noisy and did not feel safe in the bottom floor rooms (business traveler). These rooms are fine for pool and beach goers, but not good for a single woman. Also they say non-smoking, but smell like smoke since people are right outside their rooms smoking.
