"Wouldn't stay there again."

Stayed at the hotel at the beginning of September 2014. Rooms are not horrendous but very basic, in dire need of upgrading...some TV from the 1970's in the room along with some very dodgy furniture. Corridors are a bit dark and dismal, outside tables filthy. Bar staff are quite rude, reception staff ok but don't forget there is a room tax of 4 euros each a night. Breakfast not good so don't trust the travel agent who will tell you they are. It is a short bus ride to Rome on the 881 (but the English seem to be the only people who buy a ticket!). The bus stop is just at the end of the hotel drive (near lots of full bins!) The sites of Rome are amazing (no denying this) but the food is substandard and the roads are down right dangerous (you really do take your life in your hands!). If you visit make sure that you go with the understanding that the food isn't great and hugely over priced (oh and don't buy from the street sellers...there are some very dubious labels on those bottles). Do book a good tour guide for the Vatican and St Peters but DO NOT go on an open bus tour it's £15 each but really everything is so near it really is much better to walk. The Keats museum is WELL WORTH a visit (it's just at the side of the Spanish Steps). My advice would be not to tip the taxi drivers unless it is with good driving advice (which in all honesty they are all in desperate need of).

It's cheap... and that's what you get. The staff were SO rude. On arrival, the manager didn't even look up at us. He just stared at his computer screen and held out his hand for our paperwork. Our first room was SO noisy and small. In all fairness, they moved us the next day. The handyman was given the tast to move us (who was so friendly and nice, he should definitely have taken the place of the ridiculously rude reception staff). The location is just terrible. It's so far away from everything. The public transport isn't that bad to get around, but the last thing you want to be doing in Rome is waiting for a bus and guessing where you have to get off (public transport in Rome is so confusing!) The breakfast wasn't good. Fruit or bread. All seemed to be old... The hotel was cheap, and I know you get what you pay for but it was a real lowlight of our Rome holiday. I would say, if you can afford to go more central, do it. There is so much to do and see, don't waste any of your day travelling to and from a hotel just to save a bit of money.

Staff: nice and helpful. Location: it is very far, with not so good public transportation. If you can, choose a hotel closer to the center. Vatican 25 minutes, Colosseum 1 hour away from the hotel. Breakfast: not much fresh food, many cakes and very few healthy choses. Rooms: small, but quiet and clean. Corridors are dirty though. Bathroom: tiny and you must wait for the hot water to come for 4-5 minutes. Environment: quite and so nice garden. Food and drink are cheaper than in the center. Note that: you must pay city tax extra 2?/night/person.

I spent 3 nights in the hotel. Great breakfast, small and every day cleaned rooms, comfortable bed. The only thing that bothered me, was that the doors of the room cannot be closed with a key, you just close the door and its done. You can open the door only with the key, but still..

initialy thought it was ok but after a day of sightseeing on return to room realised someone had been inside and moved personal items around and also items had been stolen.informed the desk but had to go to the police station to make a report for the hotel to then investigate.i had to keep asking staff what was happening rather than them informing me....am back home now awating the results. in my opinion the only ones with keys are the maids/staff
"Comfortable and relatively cheap"

I stayed in Domus Pacis Torre Rossa Park hotel in March. Hotel has a main building where restaurant, meetings room and reception are located and few small buildings where you can find very comfortable rooms. Rooms aren't big, but are newly refurbished. I really liked restaurant, quiet big, so there was no problem to find a seat during the meals. Beautiful garden where you can drink a coffee chilling in a sun. The only minus is location, far away from central. You will need to walk 15 minutes to reach a train station. Good value for money.
"Nice hotel with small rooms"

Hotel from outside looks very nice. Its situated in the garden and hotel buildings look nice and new. First we get the room which was very small and nousy (noisy AC). When we complained about noisy AC, they changed our room for a bigger one but there was mould (it was ground floor). Than we changed the room for the first one back and we switched off the AC in the evening. Breakfast is variet and the breakfast room is also nice. If you want to go to the city, you have to také bus and then metro (about 1 hour to get to the downtown)
"Adequate convention center room, far from city"

The rooms are quite decent though very basic. No WiFi except expensive in – room service, or free in lobby with very low access speeds in. Transportation to center of Rome is difficult. Food is adequate but no fresh fruits at all. Not a place to stay unless you have to be there for a conference. In that case it is adequate.
"A good bus journey away"

The hotel was great for the money. Rooms small but designed in such a way i had room to do yoga stretches. Very clean, maid came every day. It is obviously a place for school/band/swim teams etc to stay. If I came to Rome again, I would find somewhere closer but the way I thought about it this time was, the accommodation was great for money and although we had a half hour journey to St Peters Basilica and the Vatican ( longer to anywhere else with bus changes ) we got to know Rome pretty well in our 5 days and had lots of lovely meals with the money we saved on the hotel. We would HIGHLY recommend email@example.com to pick up and drop off at the airport! Made it so stress free and we couldn't help but feel a little smug watching all the people in a mad scramble to try and get on the bus. Was €105 return which worked out at perhaps double the cost of getting buses but we were able to start enjoying our holiday AT LEAST 2 hours earlier.

The hotel is a quiet neighborhood (maybe a bit too quiet for some), located in separate buildings in a garden area. Check-in quick and efficient, staff helpful, fluent in English. The rooms are small, bathroom even smaller but very clean. Can take a while to figure out how to turn on the TV or the lights but most people will really struggle with the AC as it is Italian made :-) The bar is open till 11 PM, breakfast stereotypical but manages what is expected from weekend package hotel. I would be a bit negative about the public transportation from the place because you will eventually end up walking. Overall a good budget hotel but nothing you would like to remember for the rest of your days.
