We stayed two nights, it was a nice place but the draw back were to issues. the first room we stayed in we found a bed bug. Told the manager so she moved us to another room which is ok, then the second night there were a group of people who were partying until at least 5 am, noisy, loud and completely disrespectful and rude. room was nice but the shower curtain rod looked like it was going to fall out of the wall, wall paper around it was coming off, breakfasts were so-so, eggs cold, the first day, prior guests had spilled cereal and stuff on the floor and it was not picked up during our breakfast time

I often stay here as a mid-point stop on my way to Chicago. It's very close to the highway, and has comfortable rooms and a pretty good breakfast. I did notice that it's starting to get a little run down - cracked sink, missing towel hooks and the like.

Stayed here while visiting Michigan Wineries. Perfect location in the middle of all of them. Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming and referred us to a great local restaurant for dinner. We arrived during Thanksgiving Day the staff was great along with the room being nice, clean and great breakfast. My only concerns is the lack of supervision with children running from the pool throughout the halls and the fitness room. I believe that better supervision by parent or hotel staff enforcing rules because someone could get hurt with water […] in hallway/elevator. The only negative was the scrambled eggs served for the Continental breakfast. A little on the rubbery side. Other than that our stay was a pleasant one. A night light in the room is something my wife would have liked.

Stayed one weekend night while attending the Weko Beach Brewers Festival. Convenient location for all surrounding wineries/breweries. Hotel staff was friendly, room was clean. We had no complaints. Would stay again. I think it's a bit nicer than some of the surrounding Comfort Suites. Definitely nicer than a few hotels we've stayed in near Stevensville. […] Lots of area stores, restaurants (mostly big chain restaurants, but still convenient) Great value for the price. Good room and breakfast, horrendous and borderline unsafe neighborhood surroundings. Steer clear from Benton Harbor if possible, as well as much of the night staff as being generally courteous is not important to them.

The hotel was great. Good continental breakfast with waffles, french toast, sausage/bacon, cereal. Rooms were nice, pretty standard. Rooms were almost perfect, but I noticed our feet got dirty on the carpet - this is probably due to previous guests' feet from the beach. Regular vacuuming might have fixed this. The surrounding neighborhood within a mile […] has a lot of tourist restaurants and a walmart and meijer. But beyond that, the city is really run down. It seems like the Chicago ghetto. We were going to drive to the nearby Jean Klock park/beach, but the neighborhood kept getting worse so we skipped it and went to South Haven instead. Read more

Coming from FL for my husband's memorial Oct 2011, I was very apprehensive about the area - I moved from this area a year ago & knew about the neighborhood going down hill quickly. I remember when it was built & thought it had been enough time for it too to have fallen apart from neglect as the rest of the businesses in that area. When I told the hotel staff, they took care of it right away & in the a.m. I didn't see any signs of the leak, wet carpet or smell. An acceptable overnight stay. Not a place to spend a lot of time at. Room was not especially clean. I liked the room's layout which made it comfortable. Breakfast adequate. Convenient and sate for traveling along I-94.
