Although not right on the beach, the Quality Inn offers large, comfortable, clean, suites and is across the street from the seashore. I'd recommend a stay.

Not quite on the beach, across the street.. Long narrow hotel blocking direct view of the beach, however it was a nice hotel, nice stay with friendly staff. No complaints for the price. I was also upgraded to a suite with a full kitchen because I requested a smoking room with no additional cost.

Needs Improvement

I was suppose to be on my honeymoon, but unfornately it wasn't a honeymoon because of Quality Inn & Suites. My finance and I was enjoying our honeymoon until we went out to eat and my debit was decline. I pull up my internet banking and Quality Inn & Suites charge our account mutilpe times. We went back to the hotel and try to get things straighten out and the employees start to fuss at each other right in front of us; instead of trying to get the problem fix out. Once finally stop fussing one female got everything straighten out, the General Manager came down and charge our account again, which messed it up again. For the second time everything got straighten out. Then this morning I check my account again and my account was almost a -600 short because of QUALITY INN & SUITES AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! Here we go again back down to front desk trying to fix this same problem. Finally for the third time it has got fix. This is suppose to be my honeymoon, but as you can see how it turned out. My advice to people is when booking a hotel use a prepaid debit card and only put the amount they are suppose to charge you on there. Nevr use your personal checking account debit card. If I didn't work at a bank and they weren't able to fix the problem right away then I would of been stuck down here until Monday with no money.

The hotel was very decent nothing to extravigant a nice homely feel cool to the beach and not far from the activities. I would stay there again

The Quality Inn and Sts Jekyll Island, is just an average hotel, but it is on a nice quite island off the coast of Georgia. It is not commercialize and very conferrable.

The Hotel should not charge the price they charge per day. This is a more or less $50.00 or $60.00 per day hotel category. The kitchen and bathrooms need major improvements, the room felt very "muggy" even w/the Air cond. on. Found a rouch in kitchen. Hotel Staff was polite and nice.

The Quality Inn staff is excellent and I've had none better. Our room was about 200 yards from the beach (so close we could hear the waves). Located right off the bike and walking paths and very close to Blackbeards, the putt-putt and golf course. My only complaint about the room was that it had a damp smell to it. I understand that this might not be easily controlled because of how close it is to the beach, since you are not able to completely dry off before you get back to your room. The continental breakfast was great. Great selection and incredibly clean. My wife and I will be returning to this hotel!

I have been staying at this hotel every year since I was a little girl, and I have never had a problem with it. It is always clean, and the staff is wonderful. They keep the pool and cookout area clean. Plenty of parking. Right across the road from the beach. The rooms are huge with plenty of room, for you and your pets. And the pet fee is cheaper than the others on the island. You cant go wrong with this hotel!

The location and accommodations are not as advertised on your web site. The furniture is very outdated and very used.

This hotel was very "cheesy". It was of a very low grade and not very appealing. We expected a much nicer hotel for the amount of money we spent. We will never stay there again. Also, we were told that is was oceanfront...ha! It was told to us when we arrived that it was beachfront and not oceanfront. How can it be beachfront if another hotel stands between you and the beach? This was our first and last stay.

all staff was very helpful and pleasant. we arrived a day early and had to add one person to our party.They said no problem. and put us in our room and we were able to stay there our intire stay. we were very comfortable. and the breakfast was great. I don't think I have ever been to a more pleasant hotel. the pool was a nice size and very clean. I would reccomend this motel to families.

The breakfast provided by the hotel was very nice. However, I found a roach in my room each morning.

I was very pleased with the Front Desk Staff. They waived the Extra Charge for a Roll-Away Bed. After a few hours our A/C was not cooling properly so they allowed us to move to a newer (nicer)suite at no charge...the A/C worked great! 90 degrees outside, 70 degrees inside! We enjoyed the 2 room suite with kitchen and living room. It was comfortable for 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Modest furniture (circa 1985?), but the beds were remarkably comfortable. We were disappointed there was only one TV...it would be nice if each room had a TV....and is about 100 yards from the beach, but it is a good value for families on a budget.

The service was excellent, however, the kitchen and bathroom were very dated, needed complete renovation. The suite was perfect otherwise though, perfect layout. The pool are was nice and right across the street from the beach. Jekyll Island is perfect for leisure stay and perfect for families.

The room was very spacious. The pool was beautiful. Even though the ocean was across the street, it could still be seen. The only complaint we had was the shower. It wouldn't hold the water temperature steady. Still a great hotel.

As all hotels on Jekyll, this one needs some major renovations. The bathrooms are in need of plumbing work and the beds need new mattress.Everything was clean just in need of some repairs and replacements on some things.

Could use more outlets in bathroom. Very noisy outside condenser and other machines.

This hotel provided exactly what we needed for a "girls" weekend. The room was clean, large, and conveniently located to the beach. The complimentary breakfast was a huge bonus as there are limited eateries on this island. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with children or a group of friends wanting to get away for the weekend.

Hotel is not on the beach. there is another hotel directly across the street in view of the beach. Otherwise, very clean and well kept. Terrific breakfast!
