"Watch out for parking"
I think this is a great hotel and I love the location. However, be wary of their promise of parking. They have a nice lot under the hotel, but it is small, and I was not able to find a place several times. Part of the problem is inconsiderate people who take up more than one parking space, but the other problem is that the hotel has no plan or offer […] of back up parking locations. They also do not indicate at entry whether or not the lot is full. While overall I have had good experiences at this hotel, the stress of parking weighs heavily in my memory. "Beautiful hotel, great for the price"
Friendly service, dog friendly, across from University of Washington. $20 cab ride to downtown, 10-15 min drive. We would've liked to have been closer to downtown Seattle, but for the price and amenities, we couldn't beat it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel short drive to downtown Seattle"
We only had a short time in Seattle so we wanted to stay somewhere central. Although this hotel wasn't directly in the downtown area it was a great price and all of the reviews were fantastic so we decided to book it. The reviews we're absolutely spot on - this hotel was great! The room was spacious and well equipped and the parking was free. Downtown […] Seattle was only a short 5-10 minute drive away. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and we would highly recommend it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Centrally located to tourist sights"
We were so pleased the hotel had a free shuttle to downtown. It was very convenient! We also enjoyed the cupcakes to welcome guests to the hotel. My only complaint was it was hard to see the tv from my bed and the DVD player was on a roll away cart with an old TV.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay in the University district"
We have stayed here before and will return. The location is great. Hotel is very clean and Rooms are quiet. Check in and out were a breeze.Genuine Expedia guest review
The service here was really great! They have game or movie carts to bring to your room (and also a kids cart if you have children). Overall I would definitely stay here again whenever I'm in Seattle!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Swiss feel in Seattle"
Gorgeous solid place to stay blocks away from UW.Genuine Expedia guest review
Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in Seattle. Plus i couldn't believe what we got for the price. The rooms are nice and modern. Shower amazing and the water pressure and temp was great even after the third person (me) took a shower. Totally going to stay there again when I go to Seattle.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Close to UW campus."
Hotel is located close to UW campus, which was the site of the reason for our short trip (foreign language proficiency test). Hotel is new and the rooms are well designed and maintained. The location is relatively quiet at night. We had a good night's sleep the night before the international proficiency test. Check-in and -out was quick and easy. Parking […] is free and gated. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone with business on UW campus. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great 3-star hotel in the UW district"
This is our second stay at the Watertown. It is very convenient for our needs (within walking distance of where our daughter lives). It is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We've always booked it as part of an Expedia package, so the nightly rate is very reasonable for Seattle. It is within walking distance of UW. The room […] has a fridge and there is a Trader Joes within walking distance if one wants to economize. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to campus"
When we need to be near U.W., we stay at the Watertown Hotel. The rooms inevitably remind us of some of our travels in Europe for their clean, spare décor. Our room was quiet and other guests considerate of hallway noise (on a game day, that is a plus).Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hands down great"
Watertown (as well as its nearby sibling University Inn) is clean, modern, comfortable and affordable. This time we were in a suite that was bigger than what we needed, but priced like a smaller room. New furnishings and textiles in topnotch condition.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Night Before Surgery"
Our son was having surgery the next morning and we needed a place to stay in the area by the hospital. This was a clean, quiet and friendly place to stay, we will stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice hotel in the Seattle University District"
The Watertown Hotel is conveniently located in the University District with easy access to downtown Seattle. The rooms are clean, roomy, comfortable and reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed our room's views of downtown and Mount Rainier. The only issue we had was with limited parking in the underground parking lot in which it can be difficult […] to find a big enough slot for a larger car or van. "Nice room in a convenient location"
I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were very helpful. The experience included little extras like pineapple cupcakes in the lobby and a bag of microwave popcorn to pop in the in-room microwave.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Location, plus parking"
Watertown is close to a lot of things in the U district and in Eastlake - you can walk to all kinds of bars, restaurants and shopping, plus there are a lot of bus options. A big bonus is that they have guest parking under the building, which is really nice in Seattle where you don't always get that or have to pay a lot extra for it. My only complaint […] is that one staff member was pretty snotty to me on the phone - however, everyone else on the staff was nice and they happily accommodated my request for early check-in. "Friendly hotel with free parking"
I've stayed in watertown hotel for four nights on a business trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking garage was free. I left my ring in the room when I checked out. The maid found it, and gave to the front desk. I got it back later.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Close to our daughter."
My wife and I came up to visit our daughter who is in her last year of law school at UW. We were one block from her apartment. "Nice Hotel Close to Seattle/U Village"
This is a nice hotel, I was disappointed that they didn't have a hot tub, but it was a pleasant stay overall. The beds are rather stiff though! You get used to the hard mattress after a while, but it is not very plush. Parking is limited underground and spaces are very tight as well.Genuine Expedia guest review
Really nice, modern hotel that's close to freeways. The room was lovely - lot's of windows and natural light. However, the beds were exceptionally hard and the sheets were a little rough. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Went on a whim when selecting this hotel but very pleased in doing so. Excellent service and great atmosphere. "Nice location near the university"
Stayed here before when it was new. It could use a little touch ups here and there. Ottoman in room on casters was a little dangerous on wood floor. Miss the free breakfast but there's a fine restaurant down the street. Free covered parking is a real plus.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean, quiet boutique hotel"
The room was airy, bright and spacious and the lobby had a Euorpean vibe at this boutique hotel in the UW District. Free parking was a plus, especially as it was super easy to walk a block or two and quickly catch a bus that had us downtown in 10 minutes - faster than when we drove and had to deal with traffic & parking. Great location for exploring […] Seattle & the surrounds: you can bring a car and quickly access routes to Washington destinations, or leave it parked and explore the UW District and Freemont on foot or by bike - or hop on a bus or shuttle for a day/night downtown. "great location to attend UW graduaction"
good stay - I appreciate I was able to leave my car a couple hours after I checked out while I visited with friends. Wish there was a continental or coffee downstairs. "Nice place, but beware of parking"
Ok, so there is no place in front of the hotel to pull in so you can check into your room. You are beholden to there being street parking in the vicinity, which is iffy. Then there's the parking garage. First, there aren't enough spaces to accommodate everyone with a car if the hotel is booked. Say WHAT? "You can park on the street if there aren't spaces […] in the garage" was what I was told. Ummm, no thank you. Well we found a spot, but there were centimeters between our car and the concrete pillar that eats up half the space. The parking spaces are so narrow that a garage full of Smart Cars would be a tight squeeze. The Pineapple Express, which on the website says it will take you anywhere you want to go on the top of the hour, does NOT take you wherever you want to go on the top of the hour. It goes where the driver feels like going, and we had to take a bus to get downtown because the driver wasn't going back down that way until mid-afternoon. On the plus side, I love the U District. Fun neighborhood with lots of amenities surrounding. Market across street is open LATE! Nice comfy beds and very clean room. I slept like a baby. Would I stay here again? Yeeeahh probably. This is my hotel of choice when I have to stay in Seattle. The rooms are extremely well designed, you can tell a traveler designed them. And very well built. My room was next to the elevators...and the bed was against the elevator shaft wall. Before I went down to ask for another room, I decided to test it. So I pushed the elevator button and ran into […] my room. Couldn't hear a thing! I had to go back out to the elevator a few minutes later to see if it really did come to my floor. So I stayed in the room, and didn't hear a thing all night. This also means if I didn't hear the elevator next door, you certainly can't hear the neighbors next door. Good water pressure, fluffy and absorbent towels, refridg and microwave, free bottled water and free parking in a nice neighborhood. Love this place!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A nice place to crash."
We stayed here while visiting relatives in Seattle, so we were in the hotel only to sleep. The hotel was clean, modern, cheerful and had a boutique feel. Parking was underground and secure--you ride the hotel elevator from the parking area to your floor. Our room was spacious; beds were comfortable; our hall was quiet; and there was a small refrigerator, […] microwave and Keurig machine. I had never used Tommy Bahama shower gel and shampoo before (which was supplied in permanent dispensers in the shower), but now I'm considering buying some. My husband liked the free coffee in the lobby, while I favored the free mini-cupcakes. The air conditioning unit was a bit noisy, but it was also effective. All in all, a lovely hotel at a reasonable price. When we visit family again, we'll stay here. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good location with Shuttle Service"
This is a really nice clean hotel. The customer service here was really good and everyone was friendly. They have a lot of amenities that I've never seen at a hotel; like complementary bikes. Most are not far from common tourist stops: Space Needle or Pike Place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, clean hotel"
Nice, clean hotel, albeit small, close to the University. Free shuttle to downtown and Space Needle Tower.Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent hotel. Room was big and clean. Convenient location to the UW District. Hotel has complimentary shuttle to area destinations, going as far as downtown. Shuttle leaves the hotel on the hour, with return pick-ups on the half hour. Only advice is to book your reservations as far in advance as possible. Shuttle service is not flexible, and they […] for some reason, do not make multiple drop-offs/pick-ups within the same trip. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel on campus"
Good hotel, modern decor, hardwood floors in the room was a little different. Not bad, just different. The traffic noise was above average, but not impossible to sleep through.Genuine Expedia guest review
1. Hotel does not have a clearly marked check in/guest parking spot. 2. When you drive out of facility there is no way to see traffic or pedestrians. There should be a mirror on the left wall which will give more visibility for motorists who are getting out of the garage. 3. Need to clean cupboard doors where you can see all fingerprints and oil residue. 4. […] Pineapple restaurent truly sucks. We got coffee and that was luke warm (yuck). Food - no comment. "Hotel was nice overall"
The hotel is pretty nice overall- but needs to improve on a few things to be place we would recommend again. It advertised in room movies, which really meant getting a dvd machine from the front desk. We tried to get one on three separate days, and even reserved one on the third day- but there was never one available! The iron didn't work properly- […] didn't get hot, and then water leaked out all over our clothes. The bathroom shower curtain was sour smelling and moldy- yuck. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Best spot to stay in Seattle's U-District"
The Watertown is the perfect choice for parents visiting children at UW. It's a simple, clean, contemporary, convenient accomodation in the large area otherwise awash in a vast sea of apartments and housing for UW's 40,000 students. And it's close to the best breakfast/lunch local organic cafe ever. It's perfect, and if I can't stay at the Watertown, […] I stay in Ballard. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
