"Pleasant Hotel in University District"
I found the hotel staff to be very courteous and helpful. The parking facility was convenient and secure. I thought it had wonderful amenities, comfy beds, and lots of light. It was situated close to the university and had many restaurants within walking distance. Good value for the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to campus"
the hotel is close to campus and has easy access to the freewayGenuine Expedia guest review
I would highly recommend staying here especially if you are visiting Seattle for tourist-y things! They have a FREE shuttle service that will pick you up and drop you off to the major tourist locations of Seattle! Also, FREE PARKING. No hotel in downtown will give you that. On top of all of this, they have other great amenities and the room was very […] modern and awesome! I will say though, my only "gripe" is that you can definitely hear people in the hallway from your room. To me it wasn't a big deal b/c it's not like anyone was causing a ruckus, but I could see this being annoying if people were yelling or something. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Awesome Hotel near Seattle Area"
The Watertown hotel was incredible. I'm from California, and I went to Seattle for a conference. After the conference, I stayed an extra day to travel on my own and stayed at the Watertown hotel. Definitely got a modern, laid-back vibe as soon as I entered. But the main thing I noticed was the very friendly staff (very approachable, helpful), clean […] room (which is really important to me), and all of the complimentary extras they have. They do not nickel and dime you. They don't just have a small soap / shampoo in the room. They have something like 5 different dispensers for soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. They have free wi-fi, plus a couple computers that you can use AND print for free with (which totally saved me as I needed a form). They have free bikes for rent (although I didn't try that one). And they have the Pineapple Express, which is a free shuttle that takes you to different locations in and around Seattle (most of the major nearby attractions as well as hospitals). The thing that really stuck with me is, the night before I left, I told the guy at the front desk that I was checking out the next morning, and I asked if the shuttle would still take me to downtown Seattle so I could catch the metro to go to the airport, even though I wouldn't technically be a "customer" at that point. Without a pause, he asked what time I needed to go. They gave me a ride, and I was essentially able to travel my whole stay in Washington without a car. Awesome experience. "Within walking distance of The Neptune Theater."
My husband and I stayed here when we went to a concert at The Neptune. It was a short walk to the theater and it won out over other nearby hotels because it has FREE PARKING! The hotel was very nice and modern and even have a small Keurig in the room! We didn't stay long, but I wish we had since I saw that they had complimentary bicycles for explor […] ing! I had a very nice stay. First time in the UW District. The free shuttle was great to get me right where I needed to be each morning and I was able to park my car in the hotel's underground parking lot. There was a great little market right across the street that I got deli sandwiches at since the Pineapple Grill was closed by the time I got back from […] my workshop. I would definitely stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice stay close to UW"
Nice, quiet and clean hotel. The refridgerator and microwave in the room were very useful for me. Friendly staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Odd findings, strange behavior from the staff"
The room smelled like skunk when we first walked in. The two free standing chairs had cat hair all over them. The shower knob that turns the water on had a hole in the middle of the hardware. That is the kind of thing that makes people nervous and wonder if someone has a camera hidden somewhere. When I made my first trip out of the room to take a set […] of bags down to my car the next morning, I met the one of the housekeeping gentlemen near the elevator. I said good morning, and he asked me if I was in room 507. I answered, no, I was in room 501. He excitedly came back with a hand gesture fist pump, yes! To which I corrected him by saying that I was not ready to check out yet. My girls were still in the room and told me that he tried to walk in while I was taking the bags to my car. He was in the middle of cleaning a room when I saw him at the elevator. He didn't need to stop and go to my room. Needless to say, we hurried out of there, and he was waiting with his cart, outside of our room. I told the front desk to please fix the shower knob. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great experience for a short stay"
I stayed here for business, to visit an office in Fremont. On trips like this I often stay just north of Seattle Center, but this location in the U-District was just as convenient and allowed me to avoid a lot of the traffic that's closer to downtown. The hotel was in great condition and my room was spacious and comfortable. My primary complaints were […] that the parking garage is a little cramped, the desk in the room was on the small side (and jammed in a corner), and there was no automatic (thermostat-based) heating control in the room. Still, these were minor issues, and didn't detract from the overall stay. I will definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Seattle. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"More than Fantastic!"
I was in Seattle for a week on business at Seattle University and told everyone there about Watertown. Every interaction was exactly what a business traveler needs. The room is very modern and not set up in a traditional manner which took a little getting used to. But it was very roomy and comfortable. AND VERY CLEAN! Having both the microwave and refrig […] helped a lot for a week long stay. Definitely a minimalist approach that works! My meetings were not on the usual shuttle route, but since I could be flexible on timing and they weren't as busy in January, every possible accommodation was made and I did not have to rent a car! There is no room service or paper under your door, but I adjusted to that easily for the great rates! Just went to the café and picked up the paper at the desk. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Nice place, wish it was priced for extended stays, rooms are huge, nice big windows and the staff was terrific, no breakfast, you would think they would have a continental breakfast for the price. No pool and the gym actually closes, who woulda thought.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Will never stay downtown again"
The room was like a small studio apartment. Very roomy... Parking was excellent, safe and close to elevator underground. The surrounding community is a college town and easy access to food or services. This is my place to stay WHENEVER I go to the Seattle area!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We loved the Watertown! The staff was always friendly. Our room was clean, spacious and smartly designed. Having the toilet and tub separate from the sink made mornings more efficient. We also liked how the appliances were tucked away in the cabinet but still easy to access. The Keurig made a delicious cup of coffee, a nice departure from the typical […] hotel room swill. Very much appreciated the laptop-size safe! Having free underground parking was lovely. The best part? Location, location, location. The hotel is an easy walk to the UW campus and the Ave, and it's a quick hop to Downtown, 520 or wherever you want to go. Love this hotel! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Watch out for parking"
I think this is a great hotel and I love the location. However, be wary of their promise of parking. They have a nice lot under the hotel, but it is small, and I was not able to find a place several times. Part of the problem is inconsiderate people who take up more than one parking space, but the other problem is that the hotel has no plan or offer […] of back up parking locations. They also do not indicate at entry whether or not the lot is full. While overall I have had good experiences at this hotel, the stress of parking weighs heavily in my memory. "Beautiful hotel, great for the price"
Friendly service, dog friendly, across from University of Washington. $20 cab ride to downtown, 10-15 min drive. We would've liked to have been closer to downtown Seattle, but for the price and amenities, we couldn't beat it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel short drive to downtown Seattle"
We only had a short time in Seattle so we wanted to stay somewhere central. Although this hotel wasn't directly in the downtown area it was a great price and all of the reviews were fantastic so we decided to book it. The reviews we're absolutely spot on - this hotel was great! The room was spacious and well equipped and the parking was free. Downtown […] Seattle was only a short 5-10 minute drive away. "Centrally located to tourist sights"
We were so pleased the hotel had a free shuttle to downtown. It was very convenient! We also enjoyed the cupcakes to welcome guests to the hotel. My only complaint was it was hard to see the tv from my bed and the DVD player was on a roll away cart with an old TV.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to UW campus."
Hotel is located close to UW campus, which was the site of the reason for our short trip (foreign language proficiency test). Hotel is new and the rooms are well designed and maintained. The location is relatively quiet at night. We had a good night's sleep the night before the international proficiency test. Check-in and -out was quick and easy. Parking […] is free and gated. "Great 3-star hotel in the UW district"
This is our second stay at the Watertown. It is very convenient for our needs (within walking distance of where our daughter lives). It is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We've always booked it as part of an Expedia package, so the nightly rate is very reasonable for Seattle. It is within walking distance of UW. "Close to campus"
When we need to be near U.W., we stay at the Watertown Hotel. The rooms inevitably remind us of some of our travels in Europe for their clean, spare décor. Our room was quiet and other guests considerate of hallway noise (on a game day, that is a plus).Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hands down great"
Watertown (as well as its nearby sibling University Inn) is clean, modern, comfortable and affordable. This time we were in a suite that was bigger than what we needed, but priced like a smaller room. New furnishings and textiles in topnotch condition.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Very nice hotel in the Seattle University District"
The Watertown Hotel is conveniently located in the University District with easy access to downtown Seattle. The rooms are clean, roomy, comfortable and reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed our room's views of downtown and Mount Rainier. "Great Location, plus parking"
Watertown is close to a lot of things in the U district and in Eastlake - you can walk to all kinds of bars, restaurants and shopping, plus there are a lot of bus options. A big bonus is that they have guest parking under the building, which is really nice in Seattle where you don't always get that or have to pay a lot extra for it. My only complaint […] is that one staff member was pretty snotty to me on the phone - however, everyone else on the staff was nice and they happily accommodated my request for early check-in. "Nice Hotel Close to Seattle/U Village"
This is a nice hotel, I was disappointed that they didn't have a hot tub, but it was a pleasant stay overall. The beds are rather stiff though! You get used to the hard mattress after a while, but it is not very plush. Parking is limited underground and spaces are very tight as well.Genuine Expedia guest review
