Location is excellent with direct access to the CTA. It would have been nicer if it provides WIFI in rooms and a light breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right off of the blue line train"
Room was very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful, offered to help me find lost item. The location was far from where I needed to go, but I liked that it was in the airport and close to the blue line. I didn't have to find alternative transportation to the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Room cleaning staff stole my expensive make-up"
Hotel comfort and quality is OK but staff did not live up to it, they basically stole the make up items I forgot in my room and the sacurity never recovered them The cab they called for me was a scam, overcharged me with $70 for a ride of $45 in no traffic zone on a SundayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok hotel nothing great nothing bad"
Didn't like the fact that a "crib" turned out to be a pack n play.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Long walk to hotel from terminal."
Food truly atrocious and consistent with another Hilton in West Palm beach. Would never book Another Hilton. Also, food ingredients were cheap and low quality. Water in room Nestle's has Been rated among worst bottled waters in the world. Room small, bathroom very outdated And air conditioning weak and inadequate. Room overpriced for the money.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport We are very sorry to read about your disappointment with our hotel on Expedia. Be assured that what you experienced is not typical of the high standards we strive to maintain and your comments are being shared with our management team so that improvements can be made. Your opinion is very important to us and we hope that you will give us another chance to serve you better in the future. Sincerely, Anna Falco Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport
At the airport, it is the best option for early flights out of Chicago. Convenient access to the airport and metro station.Genuine Expedia guest review
We stayed here for an early morning flight. Unfortunately so did everyone else. We were awoken at 5am - the walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors in the bathroom and in the hall. It was very stuffy and I couldn't even sleep with a sheet on. The ac turns on and off and kept my husband awake. Not to be too much of a whiner - I liked the bath products […] and being able to walk to the airport in the morn. But, we won't stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton at the Chicago O'Hare airport. The hotel is beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the bed skirt was stained. I will stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"An extension of the airport!"
We were stuck in Chicago for a weather related flight cancellation. The hotel was very nice and not as expensive as we anticipated. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They made our unplanned stay a nice experience.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Very convenient because of its location"
I see this hotel is 4-star hotel, but I can't agree with it. I went there around 8 pm last Saturday. There were about 3 staffs at the check-in counter and there were many guests waiting in line. There should have been more staffs in such a situation. Anyway, after a long wait, I got my room key, and when I first enter the room, I smelled cigarette although […] I was told all the rooms are smoke-free. I wanted to change the room, and call the front desk, but had to wait about 10 minutes with being on hold. The rep never got back to me. So I had to re-visit the front desk, and wait some time to be served. Fortunately, the new room didn't smell anything like cigarette. Before this stay here, I stayed for two nights at a 3-star Hyatt Place hotel, and this Hilton at ORD had inferior interior in spite of its claimed 4 stars. This Hilton hotel is located actually in the airport, so it's super convenient. Maybe one star was added because of its location, making this hotel a 4-star? Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Response by Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport Dear A verified traveler: Thank you for the comments you shared about our hotel on Expedia. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused to you due to the smoke smell in your first room assigned. We are a smoke free hotel, however, there are some guests that will still try and smoke in the room. Housekeeping makes every effort to deep clean these rooms when this occurs and also to report it to security if the guest is still in house. We also apologize for the wait you experienced at check-in. We schedule our staff according to our anticipated occupancy levels, however, with our location on airport grounds, in addition to the pre-booked business, the airlines will send over passengers from cancelled flights all at once with little prior notice to the hotel which can then cause a delay at check-in. We hope that you will allow us another opportunity to serve you better in the future. Sincerely, Anna Falco Executive Office

"Hilton Chicago doe snot equal Hilton Frankfurt"
What can I say...I went from an ultra modern Hilton at the Frankfurt airport with all the latest bells and whistles (despite somewhat snobby staff) to snobby staff at the old Chicago Airport Hilton where they even charge you $20 to workout... Makes it difficult to stay loyal to Hilton in the US. Unfortunately the Hilton Garden Inn in Amarillo or Des […] Moines is a thousand times friendlier, cleaner and higher quality than the Airport Hilton in Chicago or Philly for that matter. Hilton...you are disappointing me. Hey, it's just a bed I guess. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Needs major upgrade, but can't beat the location"
I was booked on a 6:00 am flight out of O'Hare. I got up at 4:45, took a shower and was at the security gate at 5:00 am - made my flight with plenty of time to spare. You just can't beat that. However, the hotel is showing its age: while the bed and furnishings may have been replaced in the last few years, there is a musty smell. The carpet looks worn. […] The bathroom is adequate but not at all modern. The mirrors on the closet doors are a blast from the past - the distant past. But would I stay there again? Yes....especially if I had a 6 am flight again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very good and convinient hotel at walking distance from terminal 2.Genuine Expedia guest review
For a late arrival or early departure this place is perfect. Rooms are quiet, well-furnished and quite pleasing. Walk to terminal takes just minutes. If your stay is scheduled around complex air travel (as mine was) this is absolutely the place. Meanwhile, a touch of physical needs (broken hook on back of bathroom door -- no big deal) and new carpet […] down the road (it's way better than very good, but not 4 Seasons) -- so: this is not the Taj. It is an above average Hilton in the perfect place. No car needed. Great shower. Pool broken during my stay, but I didn't have time anyway... Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Close to O'Hare but that's about it."
While the Main Lobby Level of the hotel was very pleasant, the rooms lacked in many areas. The bathrooms were very cramped, several items on the room service menu were not available any longer, and the service on the television was not steady.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport Thank you for your comments about our hotel on Trip Advisor. We are sorry that we fell short of your expectations in some areas in our product and services provided. This is not typical of the standards we strive to maintain and we assure you that we take your feedback seriously and will make every effort for improvement where feasible. "Convenient Location, Dirty and A/C didn't work"
I stayed here because I had back-to-back flights and it made the most sense. I first found out that the rooms don't have wifi, only the lobby. It's $17 extra if you want it in your room. My A/C didn't work, and I opened the window and it likely hadn't been opened in a while and it was lined with dust. My hands were dirty after opening it because it […] was so filthy. One of the towels I used had lipstick all over it -- it seemed like they just found a dry towel and re-used it on the next guest. Overall, I felt the room was dirty and I was so hot because of the A/C issue. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Response by Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport We are very sorry to read the comments you posted about your hotel experience here on Expedia. The condition of your guest room was inexcusable and not typical of the standards of cleanliness we strive to maintain. Be assured that this is being addressed with our Housekeeping management so that immediate action for improvement is taken. With regards to the A/C not working, our hotel is on a two pipe system and can either be on heat or on A/C, but not both at the same time. With weather temperatures recently fluctuating from very cold to a quick warm up, and then back down again, it's difficult to switch the hotel from heat mode to A/C and then back to heat in a short amount of time. We make every effort to adjust the temperature at an average degree that is comfortable for most based on the outside temperature. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused to you because of this . We hope that you will allow us another opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Sincerely, Anna Falco Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport
"Grumpy Staff and Stuffy Room"
Not sure if it was the long winter or what, but the staff with one exception was grumpy and helpful only when pushed. The room was clean and well appointed, but it was stuffy and the heating/AC system would not allow me to turn on a fan. Overall, the convenience of being at the airport already for an early flight would get me to stay here again, but […] it certainly is the the Hilton service I usually receive. Response by Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport Dear Devi: Please accept our sincere apologies for the poor impression you received in not being properly welcomed by our team. This is certainly not the service culture we continually emphasize to our team and strive to maintain, and it will be addressed accordingly. Also, with the current outside temperatures fluctuating from cold to warm, it is difficult to adjust the hotel to be on heat or A/C. We are on a two pipe system and it cannot be set on both at the same time. We do make every effort to set the temperature at what is comfortable for most, based on outside temperatures. We are very sorry for any discomfort caused to you because of this. We look for ward to another opportunity to welcome you back and serve you in the true Hilton manner that you would come to expect. "Nice hotel within O'Hare airport."
I stayed at this hotel on my way back from Europe. I was pleased with the hotel except for a call from the reception at 12.35AM asking my if I was the person who checked inn. I did check inn with my valid photo ID and credit card. Needless to say, my sleep wasn't as good after that middle of the night phone call.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Want to be nickeled and dimed to death?"
Hilton asks for exorbitant fee to use their sub-par workout facilities (POOL WAS OUT OF SERVICE AND THE WORKOUT ROOM WAS LITERALLY 100 DEGREES DUE TO BROKEN THERMOSTAT). Additionally, they charge a fee for internet access in your room. Sure, there's room service, but Hilton quietly charges you more $$$ in 3 (yes 3!) ways: They add on 1. a flat % 2. […] sales tax 3. a flat fee on top of the menu price. Why? Because they can. They know that someone else is probably footing the bill for your business trip and that you won't notice or care that they are RIPPING OFF their "guests" at every opportunity. WHAT A RACKETt!!! This is a poor choice for the individual traveler. Business owners who are typically footing the bill should beware! Point out that you're aware of their intention to SQUEEZE YOU DRY. Other nearby hotels which are just as convenient have excellent, high quality facilities and don't try this kind of garbage. I know this because I had friends staying nearby. I mentioned my displeasure to the desk clerk and was given complimentary internet and half off to use the gym, but really it's the PRINCIPAL of the thing. She made some excuse about how things are different when a hotel is on airport property, but that had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. This is typical of the HILTON BRAND. There is an excellent NPR news article about how and why "high end" hotels rip off their customers...and I experienced it first hand at this Hilton. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient, yet confined by logistics and prices"
While convenient for the stay necessary, The O[Hare Hilton has a "captive" guest population. The charge of another $20 to use exercise facilities is ludicrous. I'm sure many succumb (I did not) as where else would one run around an airport? Also, the coffee shop/convenience store doubled the prices one normally would pay for Starbuck's coffee...my alternative […] was to walk into the arrivals luggage claim of Terminal One and buy my dark roast Tall...it can be done! Valet parking was very pricey as well....again captive audience of guest and cars Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
