Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis - Bay St Louis

The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable. The hotel is like an Oasis that appears in the wilderness, but is worth the adventure! The young lady at the front desk at check-in was distracted, but staff at check out was excellent!

Nice, clean hotel. Things we missed having in our room: fridge, microwave, wifi; there were limited television stations and no channel guide. Smell from smoke in the casino will knock you over, but the rooms were fine.

The hotel was nice - we were upgraded to a junior suite. I had trouble getting in and out of the giant jacuzzi bathtub which also was where the shower was located. The floor was very slippery even with a bathmat which was a little too small. I couldn't get hooked up to the wi-fi so was unable to use my computer during the overnight stay.

SURE WOULD HAVE LIKED A MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM & REFRIG.i NEEDED TO HEAT GEL PADS FOR A BAD BACK & IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE. NOT EVEN A MICRO ON THE PREMISES THAT COULD HELP. CLEANLINESS WAS WONDERFUL & PEOPLE WERE NICE.

Booked this hotel for superbowl because it had a good rate and close enough for driving to NO. Hotel/room were above average but the only problem was smoking is allowed in Casino. As soon as you walk into Hotel, it smelled like an ashtray. The staff were overworked and no one smiled or was helpful right from the valet parking people to the coffee shop. I asked for room service at 9.50pm and was told it was closed at 10pm. I know it was thanksgiving weekend but still I thought the staff were unsupported by management.

We love this hotel. We have stayed many times. The only thing that I don't like is that they should have more working elevators. It takes forever to get on one when the hotel is busy.

Low rate casino with a lot of smoke. Buffet is not worth the money and food was below average. Staff wears tshirts and valet guys are better dressed than anyone. This is a low rent casino at best and should be avoided.

The entire staff was very friendly and willing to help in any way. While staying in the hotel, we dined at the buffet. While I am usually not a big fan of a buffet, this was quit impressive. The food was tasty and fresh. The location of the hotel was convienent to the fishing areas we were boating around. The front desk could not find our reservation (made the same day) and when they did, they put us in a room with two double beds, rather then the king that we requested. Otherwise, the room was clean, and the hotel very nice.

We always liked the Hollywood Casino Resort but we weren't happy with our stay this time. The resturant food wasn't too great, we ate lunch but ate somewhere else for dinner. They used to serve breakfast but now they don't and we had to eat at the snack bar.

The grounds are beautiful, From the golf course to the marina. The staff was quite friendly, the gift shop was well stocked (I needed a toothbrush). The hotel was nice and with the exception of some hair on the floor in the bathroom the room appeared clean. Was disappointed in the buffet, it was an all you can eat crawfish night and they ran out of crawfish early. Love the location right on the bay and close to the gulf.

We requested non-smoking but they did not honor our request. We were told all non-smoking rooms were booked. Otherwise, the staff was friendly, the hotel was nice, and the room and bathrooms were clean. I would recommend this hotel only if smoking preference isn't an issue. However, we won't be staying here again.

Very accomodating!!! Checked in and they gave us our room, when we got there it was stale smoke smelling ... when I made the reservations I asked for a non smoking room to allergeries ... so I called down stairs and told them and they bumped us up to a Jr Suite ... it was awesome it had a jacuzzi in it... Loved our stay!!
