Nice stay for a ski vacation, especially given that the hotel is right next to the Heavenly gondola, so it is very convenient. The hotel is nice for the money, but there is no restaurant or breakfast cafe in it. The service was very good, and they were very friendly as well.

We have previously stayed in this hotel and will again in the future. The proximity to the Heavenly Valley gondola for ski-in/ski-out is very convenient. The Fire and Ice restaurant is fantastic. The propery is centrally located in South Lake Tahoe making the vehicle unnecessary while in town. I would question parking options. We arrived late and the […] valet asked if we would like the vehicle parked. I said OK and later found out it was $26.00 PER DAY. Seems excessive to have the vehicle parked in a garage. The MGR is conveniently located in the heart of the Heavenly Village. Many stores are in walking distance. The Gondola is in walking distance. The hotel room (1dbr vila) was clean and had a good view. My 5 and 6 yr old slept on the sofa bed and loved it. The kitchenette was a lifesaver. The dishes were clean. I had to disconnect the refrigerator ice […] maker at night to reduce noise level. Staff members were polite and helpful. Yes, the valet is 25.00 per night but I was prepared for this after reading previous reviews. The valet parking was underground which was helpful due to all the snow. Internet was free. Overall location is great. Having kitchen in your room is awesome and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. However wireless signal and Wifi sucked so we basically couldn't use internet at all. Neither on Wifi nor our phones.

Guests need to made aware up front that there is no free hotel parking, or any free parking close by. Parking at the hotel is valet parking and you have to pay $26 dollars per night stay. When we booked the hotel we were not aware of that. The additional parking expense was an unexpected unpleasant surprise to us. Nice hotel located in prime south shore location. We booked a one bedroom "villa" in the shoulder season, which was pretty inexpensive. Close walking distance to Heavenly gondola (which was closed for maintenance) and to the casinos. Lots of restaurants nearby too. Nice large, well-equipped room with 2 TV's, 2 fireplaces, and a huge jacuzzi tub. Resort […] is a timeshare, but nobody is pushing it. Be aware of the mandatory valet parking with fee, but the valets are very fast and good, and they'll even retrieve items from the car for you. Grocery store is basically next door, so don't worry about bringing food with you. Nice living room, but not overly cozy. Would love to go back w/the kids for skiing. Read more

We booked the villa room and it was like a one bedroom apartment. We had a fireplace in the bedroom and in the living room. Everything was spacious, nicely furnished and seemed clean. The bathtub is big, however it takes a long time to fill it up. In the end there were greenish markings along the tub, probably because it hasn't been used in a long time. […] There is only two things we did not like particularly. First of all, there was some construction noise all Saturday. It was really loud, since they seemed to demolish a bathroom somewhere. When we checked out and told the lady at the front desk, she was kind of indifferent about it. This was a little disappointing to us. Second of all you have to pay for parking. We did not realize that when we booked the hotel. It is 25 $ a day across the street or 26 $ a day for valet parking, which seems to be not that bad in comparison to the regular parking garage. All in all, definitely a hotel to recommend. Read more

Everything was perfect. Our only complaint to our annoying surprise would be that parking was $25,00 per day min. No free parking anywhere. We will not go so far as to call this deceptive, but had we known, we would have chosen a hotel that INCLUDED parking in the published daily room rate.

Your staff was wonderful, the accommodations great, but you should let guest know there is additional charge for parking, and it is steep, and you offer no alternative. Hotel is in a great location great SPA, it was close to lots of restaurants and other attractions. We really enjoyed our stay.

Thought the a/c was noisy turned it off in both bedrooms and used the a/c in the main room. Need to show people how to use the glass shower stall need to make sure you pull it […] tight and rubber insulation is engaged or stall will leak all over the floor. Did cover that with front desk and it is hard to cover at check in but person bringing up baggage should cover that or a sign needs to be posted next to shower door. we arrived late and they were very helpful on getting us to our room. If we had any question they were very good at answering them. The room had a beautiful view. The kitchen and the entire room was very clean. The bed wass very comfortable and I slept very well! The stay was perfect couldn't ask for a better hotel =)

Everything about this hotel was great. Convenient location, accomodating service by the front desk and the concierge, great rooms and facilities. Free internet was a bit slow but the price was right but that would be the only slight negative which in my mind was negligible. I would definately stay here again when visiting the area.

Fantastic mid-week rates for a group - two bedrooms with living/kitchen and third bath between them. Comfortable, quiet enjoyable. Right beside the gondola for spectacular views of the lake.

Cool resort with lots of conveniences and very good location. Studio had a fully stocked kitchen. Bed was comfortable and bathroom had a deep tub. Pool deck had nice lounge chairs and two hot tubs. Grocery store across the street as well as other walking distance restaurants. Emerald Bay and DL Bliss State Park only minutes away.
