This hotel has made some management changes. food service is much better. I have styaed here 4 times and this past visit wit new management was the best. I would give it a shot

Situated in Sainte-Adele, Hotel Mont-Gabriel is in the mountains and close to Mont Saint-Sauveur. Additional area attractions include Morin Heights.

Hotel Mont-Gabriel has a full-service spa, a golf course, a health club, an indoor pool, and a spa tub. Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is available in public areas (surcharges apply). Business amenities at this 3.0-star property include a business center, small meeting rooms, and secretarial services. This spa hotel offers a restaurant, a poolside bar, and a bar/lounge. "Mont Gabriel in Laurentians - nice getaway"
We spent 2 nights at Mont Gabriel during spring break and enjoyed our stay. Although the hotel is showing its age (a couple of buckets collecting drips in the hallways), it was clean and comfortable and the employees were friendly and courteous. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and very enjoyable. We ate in the dining room for one dinner and the […] meal was delicious. It was a short walk across the parking lot to the ski hill and we liked the convenience. There was a kids games room off the lounge and a nice pool and hot tub. although we only spend the night we found the hotel very clean and the personel very attentive and helpfull. In fact we are planning on having our daughters 18 th birthday party in the condo in march. Thanks to the assistance of Jessica at the front desk
our original was unmade, so we had to switch to another room, other than that it was okay

"Great location, but poorly run"
Appart from the poolside service - which was great - the hotel's staff seemed generally disinterested and a bit standoffish. They could do a better job selling their own services by letting you know where things are when you check in (e.g. the hotel restaurant). "Hotel Mont-Gabriel: great price value"
We didn't really get to enjoy the hotel: we got there late in the afternoon and went straight to St-Sauveur which is about 10 mins away in car. I have to admit that I was quite impressed with the place; not having traveled much in Quebec, I didn't expect a pool, a bar, tennis courts, volleyball, etc. The room was ok: located in the marquise building […] : it was small but clean and we got to sleep on a huge bed. "Top of the mountain but middle of the pack"
This somewhat dog-eared resort is in need of some sprucing but has nice surroundings and atmosphere. beds are rock hard...get with the program would you...try Sleep Country or something!!! Also front desk staff appear to be hard-working but are a little clued out on checking people in from Hotels.com.

Hotel de charme , mais qui a besoin de ce renouvellé , la qualité des matelas datant d' une autre époque dans certaines chambres laisse a désirés , bruit bizzarre et incèssant dans les murs ?. Peu de poste de télévision en francais ? piscine,spa et sauna très bien !

à notre arrivée vers les 11h, on ne nous a pas proposé une chambre prête... nous sommes revenu vers les 16h et le plafond de la salle de bain dégouttait (problème de plomberie...) on nous a transféré dans une chambre qui avait certainement été nettoyée quelques jours auparavant... des odeurs d'humidité étaient présentes... des petites toiles d'araignées […] étaient présentes entre le plafond et le mur de la fenêtre... de plus, nous avons été étonné d'apprendre que pour faire des appels locaux, il fallait payer 1$??? nous vous avions choisi pour être près des glissades de St-Sauveur... nous avons l'intention de retourner très près à la fin de cette semaine, mais pas chez vous! apres plusieurs visite au Mont-Gabriel je suis toujours aussi satisfaite de tout ce qu'on y trouve, les activités, le confort et le service...c'est notre club Med québécois. C'est sur qu'on va y retourner encore

Hotel propre et très bon acceuil. Notre chambre était beaucoup trop petite, sans mini-fridge,micro-onde ou balcon. Si nous retournons ou conseillons cet hotel à des collèges ou amis c'est avec un B-mol. Assurez-vious d'avoir une chambre au deuxième avec balcon.
Plus de renseignements pour nous orienter ou est notre chambre avec directions précisent soit sur un shéma ou verbalement ...

j'ai trouvé que le lit n'était pas tres confortable, trop dur , la salle de bain trop petite, mais les déjeuners, sont copieux excellant service, le personnel de l'hotel est tres compétant, super piscine extérieur

"Hôtel Mont-Gabriel : idéal pour activités"
Très bel hôtel. Plusieurs activités sur le site tel que piscine intérieure et extérieure, golf, volley-ball, etc. Pas trop loin de l'aquaparc St-Sauveur. Haut en montagne donc une belle vue. Très agréable et vraiment pas trop dispendieux. Endroit à retourner.

Bel hôtel, excellent accueuil à la réception. Chambre propre et adéquate (je n'ai resté qu'une nuit). Seule note négative est le restaurant. Très bel emplacement. Notre chambre était vrai bien et en très très bon état. L'entretien ménagé se faisait tout les jours et il y avait des serviettes en quantité. Les piscines étaient super et les enfants en ont profité. Les terrains avoisinants étaient super beaux, la pelouses et l'amménagement paysagé remarquable. hôtel négligé. Aucun service ( chambres non faites et personne n'est responsable. L'hôtesse à l'accueil n'a pas fait suivre nos doléances).Pas de serive internet suite à un orage?!!!Bref , hôtel low cost malgré un bon potentiel.Dommage!
