We arrived around midnight and called the hotel an hour before but the receptionist with all smile said she just came in and didnt have the room ready - had to wait 30 mins to get our keys. We booked the hotel after researching for better views, and found this one with beautiful lakes on either side. Although we requested for it, we got one ovelooking […] parking. Then when we got in, we found the bed had a hair in it showing the sheets weren't changed. And another thing i looked at is breakfast option. This one had complimentary breakfast but the items looked cheap and could have been better. But the room was spacey, beds comfy and wi-fi access and 42'' tv were all plus. I just feel $191 incl. taxes for a night - i deserve much more. Read more

There was a group of teenage girls who were noisy most of the night along the corridors of the 6th floor where I was. It was a large group of girls who checked in on thursday afternoon.

I travel a lot and this has to be one of the better hotels that I've stayed at. Its close enough to Miami international, but away from the busy streets. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Very clean, good location, good breakfast. My only complaint is that the a/c had to be manually turned on and off, so we woke up about 4 times each night, either sweating or freezing, and got up to turn the a/c on or off. When I asked about it at the desk, their response gave me the impression that several or many of their rooms had the same problem. […] The a/c's were not shutting themselves on and off automatically, so they set them to where they had to be turned on and off manually. At a hotel this nice, I would expect to be able to set a temperature for the a/c to maintain the room. We tried setting it on low cool, and the least cold point on the dial, but it still got extremely cold in less than 3 hours. Read more

We stayed overnight to catch an early flight. Nice place, everything worked fine. Only problem is surprisingly long round about trip to the airport. Isolated spot, no walk to places to eat. Very helpful staff.

The most disappointing thing was the FIRST thing that I encountered. I called before my trip and spoke to a staff member. I CLEARLY stated that my flight would be arriving after midnight and inquired about the procedure to be picked up at the hotel. She told me that all I had to do was call and tell them where I was and they would pick me up. IMAGINE […] my surprise when I called and they told me that they only had the free airport transportation until 11:00 PM! It was not the money that I had to pay for the taxi, it was that I was mislead either by the person working the day shift on the 28th or the person working the night shift when I arrived. Read more

It was very comfortable with big rooms. Each room has two big beds and a big pull out sofa sleeper. I liked how there was a nice sitting room with desk and kitchenette separate from the beds area. The breakfast was nice and they had a lot of variety that they kept refilling. The rooms were quiet. We chose this hotel because of the advertised proximity to the airport (our flight out of town was at 6 am), but it was still a 15 minute drive to the rental car return, which was longer than expected. Otherwise, everything else was excellent: smooth check-in and -out, a spacious room with an office area and couch, very clean facilities, and even a […] passable pool. Only one complaint: whoever designed the bathrooms seriously miscalculated on the dimensions. Once you step inside the bathroom, you literally can't close the door without sandwiching yourself flat against the wall. Hotel is convenient to the airport and there is a free shuttle back and forth. It is isolated. you cannot walk to anywhere. They do let you take the shuttle to a few local restaurants for free when they go back and forth to the airport. The hallways smelled damp as did the room. Comfortable hotel, great staff, lousy location. When I think of staying in a suite I usually also think I am close to restaurants, maybe a bar or lounge at the hotel. This one had nothing. So we get into Miami late due to flight delays and then we have no dining options.
