Was there 5/3 - 5/5/13. Although a distance from the road, my room still had noticeable road noise overnight. The light in the bathroom over the sink didn't work. The shower had a poor tile job. Staff was very nice and room was almost perfect. The curtains over the window next to the walkway were gauzy; while they did prevent anyone looking into the room, they did not prevent lots of light getting into the room when we were trying to sleep. Overall it was a great room with a huge balcony.

As an older property, I wasn't expecting a room in as wonderful condition as the room I was offered. There was no odor, not even of new furnishings. No moldy or smoker smell. I think the whole motel is non smoking. The bed was softer than I like, but I like a hard bed. Nevertheless, I had a good nights sleep. I booked when I saw pets allowed, I needed to bring my dog. I got a call after checking in that I had to go pay for not telling them I had a dog. I went to the front desk to sort it out. Someone had seen my dog and said she was "big". She can't hurt a fly, completely filled with love. I understand the policy, however, and was polite and understanding. […] I was told I had to pay $100, but I spent most of my money on gas, show tickets, and the room. I had $40 in my bank and was stuck. The manager was awful from the start, being very rude, saying that I was "talking too much". I was only trying to find a way to make it work since I'd be stranded in the middle of winter. He kept trying to kick me out. I was in tears, saying they could take the rest of my money in my account. He said if she was barking he would call the cops, and started to insult me. I was dead sober, if anything tired from the drive. He said to the lady that I "couldn't even stand," and that I "couldn't be trusted". My behavior was nothing but polite despite fear and devastation. They took all my cash as a dog fee and the remaining $40 from my account. I didn't make it to the show, couldn't afford to get there, and didn't have money or gas to get home. It was a disaster. If pets are allowed it should say clearly that you must tell them beforehand, and nothing of the sort was clear to me. I made the reservations so we could avoid. The hotel was fine. The check-in agent was very helpful but the check-out woman the next morning was quite nasty to the customers. I don't understand why. Other than that, it was clean, and well kept up. It was a perfectly adequate place to stay.

Comfortable, quiet room. Very toasty in cold winter temps. Staff was very helpful providing whatever we needed (to borrow snow shovel, hair dryer, etc.) Good breakfast (although the breakfast nook was cold the first day we were there). Staff worked diligently to remove snow and keep walkways clear.

It was adequate and served our purposes, but they stop the breakfast too early. And we heard vacuuming before 7AM right above us, and constant noise from the same area around that time. If it was housekeeping at that hour, then that is unacceptable. Especially on a Sunday. Finally, 5 feet from my car, there was vomit on the pavement (thank God not on […] it). The hotel was very convenient to restaurants and close to the activities we were in Burlington to see. However, i feel i overpaid for what i received. There was no fan in the bathroom; the heavy drapes did not close and the inner drapes let in more light than i was comfortable with.

The shower was freezing and then scalding and the pipes rattled and sounds like they would burst out of the wall. The walls and ceiling was thin and you could hear everything. The air conditioning would not work. When I told the staff about the problems they did not attempt to do anything about it or care. The woman simply said hmmm......

The staff was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is right on the main highway and there is an Olive Garden right across the street. Very nice restaurant, food was great and service was also great. There are a lot of restaurants nearby as well as a Hannafords across the street. The room was very clean and came with a hot tub, but the […] jets were not hooked up, so it was not usable. There aren't many channels to choose from on the tv, but it did have HBO. There weren't any chairs to sit out on outside of the rooms, but maybe that's because the area is very narrow for people to walk through. It was quiet there and the hotel was pretty full, so that was a plus. It was an all around good experience and we brought our dog along and she was very welcomed. Of course we inquired about bringing our dog when we made the reservations. The hotel was a little run down on the outside, but the room was fine. Read more

Yikes - Dirty, dirty, dirty. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous but (as the saying goes) "you can't make silk out of a sow's ear". The building is quite run down, the room wasn't very clean, no screens on the windows, no hot water at the sink, stained carpets and a mini-fridge sitting on the floor. The shower had mold on the tiles and no place to even put a bar of soap. The room was fine. They accept pets which is wonderful! They were one of the only places around that had a room, at the last minute. The person at the desk was very! nice, helpful, efficient.

It was a fine place to stay for a night. It was clean and the people were nice. My only disappointments were - had to carry bags up a flight as there are no elevators and the breakfast area was small and lots of people were waiting to eat. Otherwise - good location.

Hotel was older but clean,well kept.Staff was very polite & attentive.Pool closed after a severe rain but didn't use it so don't know what happened.Breakfast was okay with the usual choices.(Would like to see more fruit at all the hotel breakfasts.)
