We stayed here one night, having stayed here 5 yrs ago. It has been refurbished and is well appointed. We took the Rainbow Bridge Boat Tour which left from the adjoining marina--very convenient. They also have a very nice gift shop and a small deli and coffee shop with great sandwiches and food items. We will stay here again.

There is not need to stay in Page. This place has it all right in the marina. Restaurants are great. Views are amazing. Proximity to the lake excellent.

someone suggested we stay on the Lake during our visit to Page,AZ. This resort had an absolutely beautiful view of the Lake and surrounding landscapes. Staff were very nice and friendly. Room had a view of the lake from our little balcony. Ate at the Rainbow Room on the resort which was wonderful. The waiter was excellent! Would definitely recommend […] staying here. room with nice view of lake powell, but a bit outdated in terms of furniture and TV. bed was comfortable. Breakfast not included, and buffet was not available at our time of travel !! not convenient at all ! main pool was closed also....

I booked at this resort for our wedding anniversary, and upon arrival to Page, we had a very hard time locating this resort. We drove in at about 8:30pm in the night because we had to take a detour due to construction which was an additional 1.5 hours. Since we had a hard time finding this place, I called the hotel itself, and it told me to leave a […] voicemail because they don't take calls after 8pm!!! I was extremely frustrated. We finally found the resort hidden in a dark place with barely any lights on. You would think, for a resort, it would be well lit, but it was not. The customer service at the check in counter was very good. We had no issues with that. Since we were traveling with our 14month old daughter, we had requested a crib in advance which was not set up in the room when we arrived. So I decided to call them from the room phone, and it was not working. I decided to walk over to registration and they said somebody will meet us in the room to set up the crib. We were so tired from the late drive and rested for about 30 minutes until we heard someone knock on the door. When I opened the door, there was a gentleman dressed in the resort uniform reeking of alcohol about to come in to set up the crib. At this point, I had it and just told him to leave. We decided to let our baby just sleep with us on the bed. The bed and the pillows were very uncomfortable and I didn't get any sleep. I was extremely disappointed :-( Read more

Hotel and restaurant staff were incredible. Very friendly and very helpful to us during our impromptu road trip. Offered excellent advice that saved us many miles on the way to the Grand Canyon. Hotel room was just OK, but the views of the lake were outstanding (especially at sunset).

Clean rooms. Have to pay to enter the park to get to the resort which can be a problem if you are not planning on visiting the park. Awesome location with great views. Went during off season so restaurants were closed.Very clean and comfortable rooms.

We stayed here in February of 2013, which is right in the middle of the off-season. This part of Arizona gets fairly cold this time of year, and it's important to note that the hotel is not equipped for this. The hallways are not heated and so they felt about 50 degrees F the whole time we were there. Our room was the same temperature when we arrived. […] The only heat available is a small wall unit which can barely keep up. It took several hours after we arrived before the room was bearable (hint to the hotel staff -- especially during the colder months when you don't get many guests, warm up the room before people arrive!). Many of the hotel amenities were unavailable as well. The outdoor pool was to be expected, but the restaurant closes during the off-season, and even the lounge is barely operational. They do not keep a bartender around, so if you want anything other than beer or wine, you'll be out of luck. The worst part of our stay had to be the horrible plumbing in the guest bathroom. Every time the toilet was flushed, a few minutes later a distinct smell of sewer gas emanated from the bathroom and filled the rest of the room for hours. If the goal of the hotel owners was to make us want to spend as little time as possible in our hotel room, they succeeded. Read more

We stayed during the off season on our way back from Christmas vacation. It was a nice little resort right off the lake. The service was phenomenal at the lounge as well as the front desk. There were only a few guests, but, I would definitely go back during the busy season.

Gorgeous location! However the staff seemed too relaxed and unrofessional I assume because it was the off season (winter). My wife and I listened to the restaurant manager chastising one of the servers for being sick and working and doing something else wrong. Should have been done in private. The Gardens were immaculate, the rooms were very nice and spacious, except the bathroom it was missing counter space, however the amenities were very good. They had a small fridge in the room, but would have liked to have a microwave since food services were very minimal as we arrived in "winter season" and just about everything is dormant in Lake Powell/Page […] area. No way to reheat food. The staff at the hotel and restaurant (evening) was very nice, everyone is pleasant, would definitely stay there again. The location is 5 stars and the lakeview is priceless. The bar staff needs some customer service training, you have to chase the servers for service. Not a big deal tough. Overall if you can afford it, book it. I work in a hotel industry in NYC and maybe I'm not comparing apples to apples as far as service but even I was amazed with this place.

This is a beautiful resort and I would recommend it. The lake view is magnificent with benches to sit and a patio outside your room with a table and chairs. It was a wonderful place to relax. We decided to stay in Page, AZ and my wife picked this spot. I didn't realize it was inside the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Minuses: a 5-10min drive from services in Page; hotel is of the "national parks resort" type, which to me means overpriced, not as well maintained, and with "hooks" to get guests to purchase other resort services (eating […] at the in-resort dining, gift shops, etc.); wireless internet was included but was slow and had poor signal strength (it wouldn't work well if I used my laptop while lying in bed, but it did work ok if I moved a few feet forward and sat at the edge of the bed), no wired internet. Pluses: Absolutely great views if your room is on the side facing Lake Powell. I woke up by accident just before sunrise and it was stunning to see the lake and the canyons. The desert in this area is beautiful and you will see much more here walking around than if you were in a hotel in the nearby city of Page. //// If the mgmt improved the internet service and made the price a little more reasonable, we would probably stay again, otherwise I think we'd rather stay in Page or go camping somewhere else around Glen Canyon. quiet and nice resort hotel. the patio and pool area was very nice and proximity to the lake was wonderful. things we didnt liked : we booked a lake view room but the big tree in front of the balcony blocked the view. The restaurants around 7-8pm were so packed, it seemed like no one was getting food without a long wait.

We were very excited to have a room at the Resort because Page was very crowded. The room was not clean and it was very outdated. There were not enough plug-ins in the room to even plug in the clock they provided on the night stand, let alone our cell phones. The bathroom was extremely small with no counter space. We won't stay at the Resort again.

I had reserved a king bed, and when I asked about that, the desk clerk said she couldn't tell what kind of bed was in the rooms....what???? And then when we got to our room, it smelled so bad, we had to keep the bathroom door closed all night and open the sliding glass door on the balcany to be able to breathe. The views were beautiful however the "resort" is really not that great. The lobby area was nice. There were separate buildings and they were very run down. Carpets were a mess, and our room didn't get cleaned at all the first day. The housekeeping staff seemed to spend a lot of time arguing about who was going to do what. Our 75.00 breakfast in town […] for rubbery pancakes was ridiculous. The best meal was at the Denny's which we found on our way out of there. Nice property on Lake Powell. Water view recommended. 3 options for dining. Hotel is at the Marina, which offers splendid views, boat rentals, dinner cruises, sight seeing cruises. Rate is on par for the area, but with a view. You do have to pay a park entrance fee, no elevator, Checkin and out was easy. Only complaint was...we asked for a TV guide […] and waited for an hour. Hotel was very nice. Room was clean and spacious. View of the lake was worth the extra price. The only problem was the door was hard to close and the cleaning staff did not get it locked after cleaning. Nothing was taken but did report the problem to management.

The front desk staff person was impolite and not helpful. She rolled her eyes and appeared aggitated when I asked a question. I asked to speak to the supervisor. The supervisor was helpful. For all the trouble, the supervisor upgraded my room. Then I went to the coffee shop for a sandwich. The sandwich was described on the back of the container and […] when I asked if it had mayonnaise on it, I was directed several times to read the back of the box by the staff person. Then after my purchase I returned the sandwich since it wasn't fresh as advertised. The restaurant staff were extremely polite and helpful, I might add. It was only the two I mentioned earlier. We had stayed there over 10 years ago and we were pleased to see that they had updated the rooms since our last stay. They are small, but adequate. You can't find a better view location. We enjoyed the restaurant for both dinner & breakfast buffet. The only problem was that the hotel was totally full and they were way behind on getting the rooms cleaned […] and ready. We were told that our rooms wouldn't be ready until 4:30, but when we complained they moved us to two rooms that were already clean. It's worth it to get a room on the view side of the hotel. The other side gets to look at the parking lot, where the huge buses crank up in the morning. Read more

It is in a perfect location, facing a beautiful view. However, please note that it is inside a national park, and you need to pay the entrance fee to the park to access the hotel, even if you do not wish to visit the park. It is only a $15 fee though. The rooms are in separate buildings that do not look so nice in the outside, but inside the rooms are […] perfect, very moderns and spacious.
