The hotel was not very nice to look at and the rooms were all in two storey blocks of which there were four. Lovely view over the Lake and Marina on one side although our room overlooked the carpark on the other side but the room itself was comfortable and clean. Two swimming pools at the Hotel which were both full on our arrival at 2.00 p.m. and only thinned out a little by about 6.30 p.m. but both had lovely views over the lake. Staff in the Restaurant were charming and the food was very good.

The hotel location is great if you do a boat tour or other activities on the lake. The restaurant has great food and great service, however, those are extras that you pay for. What you have paid for already - the hotel room - is not so great. The toilet was leaking, the hair drier didn't work, the floors were squeaky - it seems that Lake Powel Resort was a nice hotel 10 - 15 years ago, but management focused more on making profit while they can and not maintaining the rooms at all. Also, the floor on the balcony wasn't cleaned in weeks and the daily cleaning of the room was done half way and never finished.

My only gripe is that there was a rotten egg smell in the lobby that apperently is an on going issue with the sewer plumbing. There is no excuse for this. We did not eat in the resurant or the lounge for this reason. The room was great, spectacular view. If you are into boating, hiking, fishing or just like spectacular scenery this place is hard to beat. Boat tours and full marina services are on siye so if you own or rent you completetely taken care of.

If you like to get away from the craziness of the city, this is definitely a hotel to visit. Right on Lake Powell which gives you many different opportunities to jet ski, hike, bike, camp etc. No need to get a lake view room, goregous views from everywhere. Fabulous breakfast buffet but a little over priced. Overall was a wonderful hotel, beautiful views, I will definitely go back again!

Hotel is way over rated and over priced. Rooms were typical of a road side motel and the dinning was sub par. The hotel did not rate a resort qualification and the simple fact that there was an additional park charge to enter before even checking in was both an inconvenience and an insult.

Just " I am sorry!" Overall, we think this hotel over charged, yet, the view and the location is great cause it is right over the lake. I would suggest just think that you are paying for the view and location, do not expect service.

We spent 2 nights at Lake Powell Resort in April 2009. Their rates were much higher than local hotels in Page, but the resort is located right on the lake and provided us easy access to the water with our boat. We have stayed at Lake Powell Resort in the past but this was the worst hotel stay I have had, especially for the rate. The room was really worn and not maintained. The restaurant changed their menu and the prices were outrageous for the quality of the food. The server at the restaurant was completely overwhelmed. It took hours to get our food and drinks and when the food came it was the wrong order. We were overcharged and the food was mediocre at best. I will not stay at Lake Powell Resort again. You have much better options staying in the nearby town of Page.

Hotel is not actually in Page but at Wahweap marina, however it is in a great spot on the edge of Lake Powell and better for a being a few miles out of Page (which is an otherwise dull town). Sensational views and location. Food was good and staff helpful. Rooms above average. Worth paying a few extra bucks for a lake view room. Recommend the boat trip to rainbow bridge thoughts it quite pricey and about £150 each person for the 5 hour trip.
