"Met all expectations for a Paris hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Traveling with two little kids (5 & 1), we had the junior suite. It was very clean and spacious (paris hotels are notorious for small rooms). Staff were very accomodating, friendly and helpful. Location is great with the RER and metro right outside doorsteps. Starbucks just outside, two malls within blocks and a good shopping area while most major sites are within 30 minute walking. Reccomend.

"Good deal for the price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The room was a little small but had twin beds, desk, chair, closet, and luggage stand. The windows opened and there was a fan available in the room if needed. Good cafes in the neighborhood. Metro station very close. We would use this hotel again.
"Five star experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This was our second stay at Hotel de Vendome and it topped the excellent experience that we enjoyed in November 2010. We were upgraded to a corner deluxe suite for an anniversary trip and welcomed with red rose petals in the room. Every detail of the hotel is first class with a very warm and friendly staff. Breakfast in the room every morning was a luxury followed by a walk in the Tuileries just a block from the hotel. If you're looking for the ultimate elegant boutique Parisian hotel, then you'll find it here. We'll be coming back to this one again. Bon voyage.

Good service and a decent area, very convinent location with a market of all food and goods! 2 mins walk from metro! Just a little far from center paris! Good service and polite reception!

Between Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe, this famous tree-lined thoroughfare strikes through the heart of western Paris. Luxury shops, monumental 19th century buildings, upscale apartments, restaurants and multinational corporations line the streets around La Madeleine. Landmarks include the Grand and Petit Palais, Palais de la Découverte (science museum), and the presidential palace. Gare St-Lazare stands on its eastern edges.

"Tres bien"
The hotel was very receptive to my party. Only one of us spoke some French, but every staff member was able to communicate easily. Thank you for the fun time.
"Hotel in Paris"
Very good and clean Hotel, the hotel is small but nice to stay for a few days, staff very friendly, specially the morning staff, they will do anything to help you with the tours, the only concern is the cleaning crew they will open the door room without knocking on the door, talk to them and they will not do it again.
"Royal Hotel"
Convinent Clean Wonderful Staff Very nice stay
"Royal Hotel - excellent service"
The staff went out of their way to help us. They were very polite and eager to serve.

"hotel was ok"
my wife and i stayed at the royal hotel sept 6-10, 2011. The hotel lobby is small, one person counter, with no concierge. The hotel is located in a decent spot of town for tourists (two blocks off champs elys) big tourist spot. You can walk two block to the arc de triumph which is awesome, and the double decker tour bus stops right there. Too far to […] walk to the eiffel tower, but you can catch the underground metro. We took the metro to the louvre with no problem (straight shot). The hotel staff was friendly, but the room was small and the bed was very low off the ground (felt like i was back in college). Very safe neighborhood, macaroon shop across the street. I would recommend this hotel, but there might be better hotels for the money. We had no problems, the day we left the staff call us a cab and it was there within 15 minutes (to CDG airport it was 60 euro) oh ya - bring your wallet - nothings cheap here, I asked for a coke with dinner, that set us back another 10 euro - for a coke! "Highly recommended Hotel!"
Friendly and conveniant hotel, in the heart of Paris, super close to the Metro and major bus lines from the airport. clean and safe neighborhood too! knowledgeable staff who spoke English as well as French. Highly recommended to all!
"Close to Champ Elysee and Triumph de Arc"
Nice Location. Close to all major attractions.
"Royal Hotel in Paris"
Room was very small but I think i did get the cheapest one in the hotel. Location was great. Fridge and TV remote didn't work and management didn't seem to care. Management was otherwise nice.
wonderful location. within walking distance to the arc de triomphe, the champs elysees, the hop on hop off bus that takes you all over the city of paris, and a beautiful walk to the bateaux mouche river cruise. the staff was extremely helpful, especially, antoine, the evening bell hop. will definitely recommend. lmd may 2011
"Sights and sounds of Paris"
We checked into the hotel, very excited to be in Paris for the first time. The woman at the front desk spoke French, English and Spanish which was helpful since we didn't know a word of French. We got to our room and we ecstatic to find we had a small terrace overlooking Avenue De Friedland. To the right, Sacre Coeur. To the left, Arc de Trimophe. Easily […] accessible to the Metro and Champs-Elysees. This hotel was exactly what we wanted out of our experience in Paris - convenience, cleanliness and helpful. There are cute cafes everywhere and the Eiffel Tower is walkable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. *We noted that this was a 4 star hotel and didn't see many others in our tour around the city. *Also important to note that a post office is just right around the corner for those of you who want to send postcards. When we were there, it costs .87 Euro to send a postcard to the United States. Read more

"horrible room ! cant believe they sold this room"
too small, too noisy. the room has no window to outside. the only window in the room is adjacent to the cooling unit that is very noisy. when i asked to be moved they said no because my room was booked too cheap. i am beyond disapointed.
Nice comfy hotel, very friendly and helpful staff.downside was not much atmospher in the hotel bar, would definitely stay again
"Great location"
Staff super friendly and helpful. Location fantastic. Room small but clean and comfortable. Got two sofa throw pillows when we requested additional pillows. Overall recommend it for a convenient and comfortable stay.

"royal hotel paris"
I stayed at both Regina Hotel and Royal Hotel during my stay in Paris - both 4 stars and I paid the same price per night. The front desk (reception, concierge, lobby) service at Royal Hotel is inefficient, unhelpful compared to Regina. The lobby of Royal Hotel is more like a 3 star than a 4 star hotel.
"It would have been nice BUT"
The location is very good, very easy to find, just a few minutes from Champs Elysees and the metro and where the hotel is situated is not a very busy street so it's comfortable to just walk around at any time. There are also good places to eat just outside of the hotel. You can also leave your luggage after check-out to pick them up at a later time […] if you still have some shopping to do. The hotel is nice, the room is clean but, the pillows didn't smell fresh. The single room is small but it's not too crowded although you can get a much bigger room for the same rate somewhere else. There are very few tv channels, there's only one music channel in the menu and it has no signal. Needless to say the only english channels are the news channels. The remote stopped working on my second night at the hotel. The food is of course expensive so i just ate outside the hotel, besides i have expected a smoking room only to find my room is not and when i asked to check if they had one that is, the concierge wasn't sure. He asked about it though and he was very nice about it when he said that no he's sorry that my room is not. He was a very friendly man. Hotels.com please you have to indicate this information as I only found out about the non-smoking rooms when I checked the same hotel from another website. The sound proofing is not very good, i can totally hear knocking on the doors of the nearby room and it's confusing because I don't know if it's my door or it's for another room. I just know it's not my room because I wasn't expecting anybody. I can also hear it when there are people talking at the hallway just outside my room. It was more than an ok experience until my last day when i just got out of the shower and I was in the bathroom naked and putting lotion on and had opened the bathroom door to let some cool air in when there was a knock on the door. I couldn't tell if it was my door or somebody else's room until I heard the door open and saw a man entering!!!! I quic Read more

"Royal - Nice find"
Stayed in Paris for just 1 night, so the Royal Hotel work out perfectly. Close to Air France Cars bus stop, great location close to the Arc De Triomphe. Room was comfortable and the free high speed internet was a major plus. Will defintely stay there again.
"Super beliggenhet!"
Veldig kjekt hotel.
"Sehr gute Lage, sehr nette Angestellte!"

tres bonnes .A proximité du départ du marathon

Read more
"Royal Hotel Pariisissa"

Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.
"A real parisian Hotel!"
A very nice, clean and quiet hotel in the hart of Paris. I'll be Back!
