The Best Miami Hotel has a great location next to The metro rail system, variety of shops, resturants, and Sunset Mall. Very inexpensive. The bedding and furnishings left much to be desired, but for the price I was more than satisfied.

There are much better hotels in the area, and given the extra charges for parking and the room safe, this is NOT the least expensive option. I came to BEST MIAMI HOTEL needing somewhere inexpensive but comfortable to rest while I prepared for surgery Monday April 30th. No everything is not the latest but its very comfotable. We had booked two nights, two weeks apart. We were disappointed the first night as the room was very cold and the breakfast unhealthy. This time we were able to warm up the room and the breakfast had some healthier choices. I had a horrible time, the noise in the hallways was horrible. I couldn't sleep, didn't feel safe at all. The location and the appearance of the Hotel was disappointing. Room was very cold upon arrival and we couldn't get it warm enough. Continental breakfast was minimal and did not offer any heathy choices. Hotel has an airport shuttle, but service doesn't start until 8:15 so it is not helpful for early morning flights.

The hotel once was a really nice Best Western....Notice I mentioned once was. For the price it is fair, but the pictures on the website portray a luxurious hotes. In fact, it seems to be run well: clean, staff responsive, etc. It is in dire needs of updating. Standard def TV, Bath fixtures need replacing, and the Parking............BLAH. I was not informed […] of the parking situation until I checked in. If you want to park on site, you self park in their garage for like 8 dollars a day; whether your car is there or not. I didn't like this being as my car was only there for one day and I had to pay for the whole stay. It seem close to Miami Beach distance wise but it takes like a half hour or more for the trip. Oh! And don't wander too far from the hotel on foot......Ghetto.....and next to a public transportation station....Need I say more. I ended up going to a Hosted in South Beach that was way better. Front desk clerk was nice. Check out fast. Room smelled a little musty. No coffee pot. Very difficult to find, as hotel is on a dead-end street. Close to South Miami Baptist Hospital, which was the reason I stayed here-traffic is unbelievably heavy. They did have a continental breakfast, which I did not know about, and did not have time to try.

This hotel has been totally abandoned. We have stayed in the past and received great service decent rooms and friendly staff my last visit here will be my last visit ever. Front desk personnel was unhelpful and rude. No ice buckets in the room we stayed at and after the staff member gave us a master key and we went to 7 different room to look for one […] ourselves and had no luck we decided we would put it in our personal lunch bag and then we walked up to the ice machine and both were broken. This hotel looked pretty good when booked, but when i got there they are goign to be charging you $2 per day for a safety box that you wont use, plus the $8 per day PLUS a 50$ that they say the hold until you leave which i think is ridicoulus when i got there the first room i entered was already lights broken , phone was not working they had to move […] me to another room which did not had a blow dryer.the website says they have refrigerator microwaves and blow dryer when you get there they tell you not all the rooms have it , so it is very deceiving . Worst hotel stay I've had in 9 years. Check in service was rude and they insisted on a 50$ cash deposit on the room safe that I had no intention of using. And, during check in, 2 young men were refused check in even though they had a reservation, because they were under 21 and using a credit card. Also, the complimentary breakfast was a joke.

This hotel has great potential the layout and set up of the hotel is very nice BUT the maintenance of it is absolutely horrible. The carpet and rooms smell old and like moth balls or mildew. This hotel was absolutely terrible. Dont let the name fool you. This is probably Miami's worst hotel. First of all I was told by hotels.com that there would be no other fees and they charged me some dumb security fee. The rooms were absolutely terrible. I would have rather pay 100 more per night to stay somewhere else. Shuttle pick-up from airport and cruise port unreliable. Staff not concerned about poor service. Alarm in neighbouring room not dealt with by staff at six in the morning . It continued for 45 minutes. They said "what do you want me to do"?

We had booked 4 rooms and they were all so dirty the guys had to take all the sheets off of the beds and get Lysol to spray the rooms. They had to wait three hours to be picked up from the airport. The driver did not know how to get back to the hotel and was drunk. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

the place was dirty. the staff was rude. the $2 extra per night and pay for parking was ridiculous, just add that price to the overall price of the room. the ice machine was broken. wifi is only available in the lobby, not the overall room. beds were poor quality and top sheets were filthy. blinds were non existant.

This place was the cheapest somewhat decent place I could find in the Miami Area. I'm 27 and a student and don't need a high priced, fancy hotel; rather, just wanted a clean bed to sleep on. Not very pleasant. I called prior to leaving home to make a reservation to be picked up from the port upon returning from our cruise. I was told to call when I arrived at the port. When I did at 8:30 am I was told that they only picked up at noon. I questioned this and was told to call back after 10am. i would never stay there again, we came for medical reasons because of your proximity to the Miami Children's hospital. When needed the shuttle bus to get us from the airport, when we saw it we waved to it but it did not stop.This caused us to have to pay cab fare which was very expensive.
