First I have to say that for the most part my stay at this hotel was what I wanted--I don't require fancy--just clean & comfortable. However-2 issues that did color my experience. First, the internet was down from Wednesday to Saturday. I got the impression this is a common occurance and they weren't concerned. Second--on my last night there a friend […] came to the desk & wanted to verify that this was the same hotel I was in(she was checking in also)---yes, they verified I was there---and also gave her my room number. And the keys had the room number taped on them. As a woman traveling alone, safety & security are important to me and both of those factors violate that. Had that happened the first day-I would have been out of there! Yes, I had a pleasant stay, but those issues need to be addressed before I would stay at that particular hotel again. Read more

I booked a non-smoking room. I was told when I checked in they had a smoking room and would not switch me. The amenities said it had a jacuzzi. It was broken and had been broken for a long time. The staff was extremely rude. Room was smelly. Will not ever stay here again.

It is exactly what you would expect from a Super 8. The location was a little sketchy. I was not too thrilled when I pulled up and saw the 18 wheelers parked out front – this motel apparently has discounts for CDL drivers. I would spend a little more money next time to stay somewhere better.

We stayed at this motel because we know Super 8's are pretty good for the price. However, this was one of the worst we stayed in as far as the condition. The shower heads were way too low, they had done something on the window sills that left round spots that was still just plaster, not even painted. The staff in the lobby was great, but the housekeeping […] staff did not speak or understand English. It was a little bit inconvenient for our purposes as we had to go downtown, and that is a very round about trip. We were only 7.1 miles according to the map, but it took us almost 25 minutes to get there. The breakfast was very minimal, although they did have a waffle maker, but no fruit. It was rated a little higher than we would have rated it. We would give it 2.5 to 3 stars at best. Read more

For what we paid this was a pretty good motel. The room's air conditioning was excellent for keeping cool, and the room in general was kept pretty clean, although due to the drought they had cut back on housecleaning to every other day. The customer service reps were great. The pool could have used a little more cleaning and upkeep, and the breakfast […] is your basic muffin, toast and coffee fare but for what you pay that's really what you expect. The parking lot always smelled pretty terrible because of the eighteen wheelers. The internet worked only whenever other people weren't on -- they need to used some router with Quality of Service to prevent a few hogging the whole bandwidth. Besides that, the customer service was good and the breakfast decent.

My family stayed here after seeing the Astros-Rangers baseball game on 6/29/11. It was much cheaper to stay here than closer to Minute Maid Park, but we still made it to the game in under 10 minutes. PROS 1. North of downtown, but still accessible to that area in +/- 10 mins (depending on traffic) via US59. 2. Two double beds were plenty of room for […] my family of 4. 3. It served the intended purpose, but wasn't super impressive. CONS 1. The hotel is situated in an area where LOTS of 18-wheelers come & go. Their parking lot is even designed for truck drivers to get in/out easily. There were at least 7 trucks jamming up access to the parking lot during our stay. 2. Because of the truck traffic, there was a very obvious smell of diesel in the area. 3. Pool was only big enough for about 10 people max, 3' - 5'. 4. I've stayed here before, but this particular room was terrible. There was residue left from flies on the mirror. In the bathroom, the spot on the wall where people rest their hand before getting into the shower was filthy, as was the floor of the shower. If you want to save money and be within 12 minutes of downtown and 20 minutes of nice areas of Houston AND YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY, then this is th eplace to stay. It is not in a vey nice neighborhood but it is right off the 610 loop and when you are inside wit the door locked you could be in any hotel room anywhere.

I have stayed in many budget hotels around Houston and they all conform to the same formula. This one was no exception and the room was good clean value for money with the standard budget breakfast included. There were a few issues with this hotel which were not so good: 1) The hotel is not near to anywhere. It has a huge parking lot which means it […] is heavily used as a truck stop. If you want to get something to eat, get to a supermarket, or do any shopping, there is simply nothing near by and the local neighbourhood is not very friendly or safe feeling, so you need to take quite a drive to get anywhere that I felt comfortable stopping. 2) Although the room was certainly clean when I arrived, I was there for three nights and the cleaning staff did the minimum each day - although fresh towels were put into the room and the bed was made, the coffee machine was not cleaned and the sink and bath didn't appear to have been cleaned. 3) The ironing board and iron, which are a standard accessory of all these budget hotels was not in the room. 4) The breakfast was quite reasonable, with the addition of bagels and philadelphia, which I'm sure is not part of the 'standard' breakfast package - but some fresh fruit would have been appreciated. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable bed for the night, then this place is perfect. If you are likely to be staying for a few days, there are better places. Read more

Im großen und ganzen war ich zufrieden mit der Unterbringung im Hotel und würde es bei Bedarf wieder buchen.
