This is a low budget hotel at a medium price. Old style carpet and in need of repair in places. No smoking but still allows pets witch was evident. Breakfast was just ok nothing hot and some Danish you could taste that it came out of a package. We needed a room for our trip to the Nascar Races at Kansas Speedway. Rates all over were high and with last minute reservations, you take what you can get. I had a few problems with the pumbling in all three room (ended up having to use the plunger myself in one room). Also someone within the hotel was calling from room to room trying to get people credit card number, but this was no fault to the hotel just wanted people to be aware this could happen anywhere.

Great for the price. Large rooms. Breakfast had a lot to choose from but nothing hot. Staff was extremely friendly. Had an indoor pool. Room temp was difficult to maintain. Had to open the window in Feb because it was so hot. Then by the morning it was freezing again. Had a weird smell in the hallways. Overall it was worth it for the price.

Had stayed here on a couple of occasions. Quiet, outside well lighted. Bed was great. Other than some broken floor tiles in bathroom which gave when walked on excellent place to stay for the money. Breakfast was adequate.

My family and I went Thanksgiving. The staff were courteous. The title Days Inn-near KS Speedway is a trick. This Days Inn is miles from the Speedway. My reason for purchasing this room is to be close to the Speedway. Being familiar enough with the area to know there are several hotels within view of the Speedway but not familiar enough to know that […] the Days Inn address is far from the Speedway, I was highly disappointed to have to ask for directions when I got to the area and could not find my hotel anywhere around the Speedway. Our room was supposed to be non-smoking and it smelled strongly of smoke. The jacuzzi in the bath tub was broken, not that I would've used it anyway. Tiles on the floor broken. The lobby was much nicer than the rest of the hotel.

I have stayed here a number of times. It is very convenient when I travel from east/midwest back to Colorado. Easy access to I-70 and on the western side of Kansas City in Kansas so it is easy to avoid trafic difficulties in the morning. Has a small but nice pool and fitness room. My challenge...I have Multiple Sclerosis and heat is not my friend. I go to KC for medical care.Reception area, maybe a little 80ish, was nice and clean. Pool not olympic size,big enough to soak the days aches away.Front desk greeted me kindly. dusty carpeting, bath tub got two holes at an angle that seemed like bullet shot through from other room--the holes were poorly patched up.it made me feel not secure. noisy quests--pounding noises and loud voices over night - difficult to get a good night sleep.

Getting off the hwy from the west, the hotel is hard to see as you must look behind your right shoulder to see it. Got in late (10ish) after driving all day. The receptionist was very friendly and got us checked in without incident. The room on the second floor was clean and well made. Didn’t really get to watch TV, but the TV was an old box set, so […] if you are looking for an HD or flat panel, ask first. The bathroom was adequate for comfort except the shower had pretty low water pressure. Of note, there was a hole in the bathroom door where it appears that some little monster was trying to get out as they scratched a hole in the door. I would imagine this was a dog, but…well….ya never know for sure. The continental breakfast that ran from 6-9 was normal and nothing exciting. Cold cereal, bagels, toast and some odds and end fruit. The room they gave us was trashed when we got there!! Checkin was at 3 got there At 3 had to wait til four to get in the room!! Then at 9am house keeping knocked on the door saying we had to leave it was passed check out which was not till 11am!!! Would never go back!!! Only good thing is it was closr to where we were going

My son was traveling from Virginia Beach VA to Wichita KS and his transmission went out in Bonner Springs. I booked the Days Inn for him via Expedia while he was dealing with getting his truck towed because it was close to the repair shop. Check in went fairly smooth and it was the last thing that did. During the night he had not one or two but THREE […] different people open the door to his room, having been given the same room that he was in. I complained to the hotel the following day and they advised me to speak to Expedia and it was resolved to my satisfaction. Today, 3 days after check out, my sons debit card that he had to give at check in for incidentals was charged for the room AGAIN!! I called the hotel to complain and the rude young lady at the desk told me that he was booked into two rooms and asked if he stayed in two. Ok. Could a question BE more dumb? I told her that no, that he couldn't even get folks to stay out of ONE, why would he book TWO? She said that since my sons card was charged, maybe he should be the one that called. I told her I could call back and speak with the manager. She mumbled his name, but I think it is Paul Rush. She told me that she doesn't know his schedule, he comes in when he wants to come in. Lovely little gal. I can see a big future for her in the customer service field. Still trying to resolve the double billing. Wish me luck! Read more

This place was nice for the money. A few things that were bad was the bed was extremely squeaky and was kinda hard. There's a Quik Trip rite by the hotel and a Wendys. A little farther north on 78th street r more restaurants. The only thing I got really upset about was when we cane back from the Schlitterbaun Waterpark, we needed to b somewhere by 5 […] and was going to go n the hotel on the side, both of our keys didn't wrk, so had to walk clear around the building to get n when its 100 degrees and we both had bad sunburns, we then get up to our room and the keys don't wrk, I have to then go down the stairs and wait forever by 3-4 people checking n, I yell at the clerk and all she says quietly is "sorry"! My husband had to sit on the floor upstairs for 10-15 mins with tons of stuff we had and we didn't get to where we needed to b by 5. They say theres a hot tub and there's NOT, and the pool is SO tiny, its as big as probably 2 hot tubs put 2gether. The breakfast was good, no hot breakfast, just contentintal, but limited seating.
