We were on the road for 44 days and this was the worst motel we stayed in. The carpet was old and filthy and the bathroom had minimum cleaning. The physical condition of the room was terrible. Base was missing from the walls. The rest was filthy. Cover plate on the electrical receptacle was missing. The bathroom door was split and broken on the bottom. […] No coffee pot or hair dryer. Was very disappointed with the cleanliness -- also, we were to have a non-smoking room and it smelled like cigarette smoke. The hotel offerred to move us but couldn't guarantee someone hadn't smoked in any room.

I enjoyed my stay with your hotel. One of the advantages is the feeling of safety. As a woman traveling alone this is an added plus. I wish you would sell your pillows. They are so comfortable. The mattress is a dream. One of the best night's sleep I've had in a long time.

I guess I should have known better, but this will be the last time I stay in a two-star hotel. It was out of neccessity that we stayed there. We were evacuating from Hurricane Isaac, and needed an inexpensive place to stay overnight on the way back home. The walls had brownish colored stains dripping down the side of the bed. God only knows what they […] were from. It looked like there was an attempt to clean the more visible parts, but they obviously didn't take the time to clean all of it. The staff at the front desk were nice, but the lady making omlettes had a really bad attitude. All the room doors are on the exterior, and there were lots of men hanging out on the balcony drinking beer, which made me very uncomfortable. Thankfully I was there with my husband, and it was only one night. But I was ready to get out of there as quickly as possible. Read more

The hotel is a typical middle budget hotel, kind of dirty if you look too hard, but clean where it counts. No bed bugs, bathroom clean, etc. The Pool is really clean. The breakfast is AWESOME! Makes up for the old school TV.

I was a little worried staying at the hotel originally because it is so close to a not-great part of town, but I guess Meridian has cleaned up a bit since last year. Check-in was a little crazy, but there was a state-wide event going on in town that weekend so every hotel was a little crazy. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked (thank […] goodness!). Unfortunately the a/c was no match for 90-degree temperatures and the room didn't quite get cold enough for a woman 8 months pregnant. And either this hotel has the best soundproofing I've ever experienced or my neighbors were really nice, but I never heard a peep or door slam. I was also pleasantly surprised with the breakfast. Originally I had thought it was just a bagel/danish/doughnut kind of free breakfast, but lo and behold there was hot breakfast items and even an omelet lady! My only complaint (and this is just because I'm pregnant) is the hike to the lobby/breakfast area from your room. Or if you are staying the in the second building the hike to the vending machines that are in the third building. But that's just the layout and there's not much to be done about it. Overall a very nice place to stay for the price, which is hard to find in Meridian! Read more

I was a 19 year old female out-of-state college student returning home for the summer, traveling alone, checking into a hotel by myself for the first time. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and even moved me to a room close to the lobby so that I would feel more secure. Will stay again.
