The hotel and room were great. I was on the street side of the building and it was a bit noisy, even though I was on the 5th floor. I would request the other side of the building if I ever stayed there again. One complaint, I was by the soda machine and ice maker. Heard people at all hours getting ice. The hotel is kitty corner to the bus station. Mall in walking distance. Free parking although very odd parking slots but FREE. Fast , easy ride into Boston. Free breakfast:) Buses that go right to harvard square making it easy to visit colleges.

Everything was great there except I did not know that I would not get my HH points for making res with some service. That was a huge disappointment to me. Otherwise I will stay there next time in Boston but will make Rez directly.

Hotel room was very clean. We appreciated the free parking and of course, free breakfasts. The breakfast meals were very diverse with enough selection to satisfy everyone. However, the sitting area for breakfast needed to be larger with more seating capacity. Otherwise, this hotel selection was great!

Everything about the hotel and its accomodations are great. Free parking and breakfast in Boston is a rarity. The location however is not ideal for those who would like to stroll to restaurants, boutiques, convenience stores, etc. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

I chose this hotel because it was on the outskirts of town, and thus cheaper than staying in downtown Boston. It is also located about 2 blocks and 2 minutes from the Lechmere T station which was another reason I chose this location. Doesn't matter where you stay in Boston as long as you are close to a T. Its also within walking distance of the Bostom […] Museum of Science, 10 minute walk. A hot breakfast is served in the mornings, warning, it does get very busy then and there aren't enough seats for everyone at that time. Its a mediocre breakfast, although the hot waffles are great. We stayed there for 3 nights on vacation to Boston. The hotel is just across the T station and I never had to use my car. Breakfast was good. The room was little noisy from the traffic but did not disturb the sleep.The bed and duvet were very comfortable. Overall very satisfying experience.

This was a standard Hampton Inn - room was small but in good repair and very clean. The hotel was having some system issues - elevator breakdowns, etc. but the staff was taking care of the guests so it wasn't a big deal. The location is ideal - close to the T but free (if limited) parking and services close by.

We spent 5 days in Boston and were happy with our choice of the Hampton Inn boston Cambridge. The free parking was so helpful! A T-station that connects to other areas of the city was just across the street and the Science Center (from which Duck Tours start) & the Cambridgeside Mall were both within walking distance. The hotel is located in an area […] that is more commercial with offices, but there is a Dunkin Donuts across the street and the mall plus the T to reach other sections of the city (such as Harvard Square and the North Side) to make dinner a destination. We also enjoyed the good breakfast choices free each morning at the hotel, free coffee all day, free newspaper and sometimes free water bottles. We will definitely stay at this Hampton Inn again. The only thing you can really walk to from this hotel is the Science Museum. Everything else you must drive to and that is no easy task. The street signs are horrible and alot of the time you don't have time to switch lanes when you need to due to traffic. The Boston drivers are not patient with out of towners. The hotel offers breakfast which was wonderful […] - the hotel is on a very noisy street. Free parking which was awesome but it was underground parking and the lot was a bit creepy at night. this hotel was very conveniently located for a family event to which i had to travel in the greater boston area. the room was clean, the breakfast was hot, the coffee abundant, the wireless easily accessible, and the staff extremely friendly (even one of the maintenance staff - whom i almost knocked over in my rush to get out of the elevator on my way […] to my event - went out of his way to hold the elevator and the garage doors for me and did so with a smile!) the only downsides were that the windows in the room did not open (which, i discovered later, was actually a blessing, as that entire section of town smelled like rotten garbage the next morning), and that getting to the hotel from north on Rte. 28 is a bit tricky (you actually have to go past it and make a u-turn in a business parking lot.) other than that - it was exactly what i was looking for and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area, within quick commuting distance to boston and its suburbs. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. I liked that they had signs indicating that bed covers were cleaned daily. Staff was accommodating when I needed something refrigerated. I had no problems. The room was clean and well maintained. Free internet, complimentary breakfast - these details are good! Lechmere green line station is a block away and you can walk to Kendal/MIT station in 15 minutes. I think it's a nice place and I will stay there again while in Cambridge.
