We got pretty much what we expected for the price-it's a motel folks, not a hotel, not a chain, not a 5 star resort! If you are looking for a clean place with a good location in Williams, this is great--especially if you are not a fan of the chains and prefer more of the mom and pop sort of place. :) There aren't very many places in Williams with suites or 2 bedroom rooms, which is very nice when you have 3 kids (or more). This is one of the few. For those reviewers who said the owner was less than friendly, we thought he was wonderful--super nice and hospitable. Treat people well and you will most likely be treated well. :)

The motel is a throwback to the era when Route 66 was a main thoroughfare from Chicago to the west coast. It is well situated in Williams, close to the town center and all of the interests of the tourists. It is clean and comfortable. You do hear the train whistles when they go though but no more so than at any other motel in Williams. Good deal for the money.

If you're looking for a clean and quiet room to sleep in on your way to the Grand Canyon or whatever your business is in Williams then this hotel is perfect. Why pay more for other hotels if you just need a bed and bathroom? They even have muffins and coffee in the morning. Great value for the money!

The location of the hotel was very convenient. It was just off the highway. I was looking for a lower end hotel, and in that category, this was a good hotel. This is a family owned, older, small, maintained hotel. The service was great, rooms were cleaned well each day. No frills, no extras, perfect for someone on a budget and doesn't require fancy details. Close to highway and many food options. Walking distance to train station and the adorable downtown Williams.

Hotel was within walking distance of many fast food restaurants. Room was very clean but the bathroom needed upkeep. The paint was peeling and tile floor was cracked and it moved. I was afraid I would fall.

The person at the front desk didn't say three complete sentences to us the entire stay. The grounds had weeds all over. The rooms were sort of small. Not worth the price that I paid.

I chose this hotel as it was the only affordable choice in the Grand Canyon area. For prices lower than that, I have been able to secure rooms in more upscale hotels elsewhere but the hotels in that area seem to be relatively costlier. Our rooms faced the street, so it could have been noisier during heavy traffic hours. We were there approximately between […] 9 pm and 8 am, so did not hear too much of the noise. The rooms, bathrooms, and the common areas were reasonably clean. The front desk staff was not friendly but not rude either. Only four items (coffee, juice, donuts, and muffins) were available in the "free" breakfast. The rooms have microwaves and no coffee. This was a great hotel to stay in for our visit to the grand canyon. It was right off the freeway and only a few blocks from the lively downtown Williams. And as we checked out there was a little surprise of donuts and muffins with coffee and orange juice!! I would definitely stay here again!!!

Front office was not customer focus. Front desk person seem upset when I first arrived, I was not properly greeted. When I left the person working the desk did not even inquire about my stay??? The room was clean, however, the bathroom was old with what seem like mold around the shower valve and the toilet seat was clearly in need of replacement.

My advise; only take cheap rate if you are 100% sure of going, if 99% pay the extra in case that 1% of cancellation comes up, you can get your money back. The lock on our door was torn off. Breakfast was a few muffins and some Tang. The location is great. Just off the town and quiet. Lots of fast food within walking distance. With just a few improvements, this place could be wonderful. Would probably stay again.

Bed was hard as a board, If you just want a place to sleep your sleep will be uncomfortable. I wouldn't go to Williams ever again. We went to Pizza hut next door and left after 15 minutes of no service. The camouflage dressed hunters were obviously more important.

Our first impression was of the distinctly unfriendly guy at the front desk. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable, though the hallway had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Would probably not stay here again simply because of the unpleasant attitude of the desk guy.

Service could have been friendlier... Hotel bathroom was not the worst but definately not the best... Fridge and Microwave were practically only good appliances... Did not like the TV service provided... When asked for more condiments, was only given minimum amount... Hotel location was Great but hotel could have been a bit better

Hotel is a little dumpy but not bad to stay in for s visit to the Grand Canyon. My biggest complaints are that staff are not friendly at al. A sign behind desk clerk says "free breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 am" the breakfast was chocolate covered mini donuts from hostess, Thats all for real that's all!

i've had very good luck with other "knight's inn" facilities, but this one was pretty bad, from the mold in the bathroom fixtures to the wads of other people's hair left behind. our room wasnt clean, and the overall state of the hotel is extremely worn, and it was terribly noisy all night long, both from street traffic, and other residents slamming […] their doors at all hours of the night. not the way to cap off a lovely day at the grand canyon. the facilities are new, and the position is good, near the road to grand canyon. and about 8 mins walk to the small town center.
