is good for a point A to B trip, just to sleep and get on your way maybe. Walls were paper thin, screaming and jumping child next door, heavy walkers above, blasting TVs heard thru all walls. Luckily the front desk was able to offer ear plugs and to move if I needed to. I stuck it out with ear plugs.

Great value. Good (not great ) breakfast. Friendly service - when we did have a problem they fixed it immediately. We stayed here before. Biggest downer is internet access which was dreadfully slow - many connections just timed out.

The complimentary breakfast is excellent and the dining room was quite nice as well. Staff was friendly and efficient and even provided us with driving directions (mapquest I believe) for a couple side trips when I could not get the free access interent terminal to behave for me.

Room was very good, roomy, and clean, with nice bath and shower. Breakfast was good, but on days when conference room was in use, the breakfast room was very overcrowded. Biggest negative is the slow speed of their free wi-fi. Even simple Yahoo pages would take a minute or more to download. Staff was friendly and good.

This Best Western is in the outskirts of Portland and has little to offer in regards to fine dining and entertainment in its surrounding area. However, it is within walking distance to a MAX light rail station which can have you in downtown in 30-40 min.

Based on the reviews & photos it looked like a great hotel. It's an older hotel with a facelift. TV s were not upgraded. Staff were friendly. They have free wifi, but its really slow. First night we had to call maintenance as the toilet wouldn't flush. they left us the plunger after it was fixed in case it happened again. Breakfast was ok. Decent coffee […] for a hotel. Very helpful staff , friendly and always ready to help you, breakfast was great you had no excuse to leave there hungry, there was something for everyones taste in breakfast food. The shuttle service was very good, would highly recommend this hotel it was very good value for the price we payed.

First off the driveway to the hotel wasn't obvious, the sign was small. I missed it and had to turn around. The hotel itself is fine, if all you need it a room with a bed. Stayed here while we were in town to drop our daughter off at college. The free breakfast was very good. The hotel is close to restaurants and to the I-5 on ramps. Would definitely stay here again when visiting our daughter. Staff was very nice and helpful and the hotel was very clean and well maintained.

No spectacular views or luxury accommodations here, but it was a good value. We stayed 4 nights for college orientation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a 2Q room, nicely sized, and including a microwave & mini-fridge. It was very clean on arrival and again each day. The beds were firm and comfortable. The windows can be opened for fresh […] air - a great feature so that I don't get that stuffy 'hotel A/C' nose. There is a vent instead of an exhaust fan in the bathroom, which works 'eventually', but judging by the moisture damage to the fixtures, it's insufficient and made for a much longer prep time after showering. BUT-the showers were hot and strong, and a comfortable fit for average size folks. I like the use of shampoo dispensers, but still used my own products - a hand soap dispenser for the sink would be a good idea. The complimentary breakfast was good with a lot of variety - yogurt & fruit; cereal & toast; a waffle station; and eggs, sausage & potatoes. The eggs and sausage were not the best, but everything else was great! There are also other restaurants nearby. The biggest issue we had was the Wi-Fi - it was nearly useless! Basically, if there are only a few cars in the lot, you can expect good internet service. When the lot is full, everyone's online! We couldn't load webpages; Gmail was nearly inaccessible for most of our stay. For us, it was an inconvenience, but if we had to rely on access for work, this would have been a really big issue! A bit expensive but a good location. Clean and comfortable. Check in a bit late at 4pm and early check out 11am. I may stay near the airport as the room was similiar and cost $80 less per night.

This is pretty much what you would expect for a drive-in motel located away from anything of interest. If your goal is to "experience Portland," this is not the place for you, That said, once we got our bearings, we realized that it is only a few minutes walk over to the "MAX" (light rail) station. Our room smelled cigarette so badly that we had to leave the window open all night. The staff was completely overwhelmed with providing enough (awfull) food to the morning rush of customers. The coffee was the worst I ever had.

Best Western Hotel at the Meadows is a good alternative to the pricey downtown hotels. It's clean and recently remodeled. It's a short drive to downtown Portland which was nice. I am very particular about where I stay, and prior to staying at this hotel, we stayed at several high end hotels and none of them were as clean and had a bed as comfortable as the Best Western. Thank you for the best night's sleep during my entire trip!!
