Our stay at the Red Carpet Inn and Suites Fallsway was a pleasant one. This is not one of the nicer hotels in the area, but for us it was well worth the price. I have […] never stayed at a hotel with a staff as nice as these people. Cleanliness of my room: 4 -- Lost a point because there was no mid-day cleaning service. I'm not sure if it was because it was a weekend or if it was the area, or if they don't have it. Quality of the staff and their service: 5 -- Absolutely no complaints. Comfort of your room: 3 -- I don't think the room was ready for us because it was 15 degrees Celcius when we arrived. The heating didn't turn on the first night, but was fixed by the time we got back. Condition and upkeep of the hotel: 3 -- It looked like they were undergoing renovations when we were there. The inn is very poorly maintained. There are empty vending machines in the lobby and a pool full of green water outside. The room we stayed in was fairly clean, but the carpet was very badly stained and the mattress and curtains had cigarette burns on them. The beds were comfy and clean, which was a plus. The bathroom was clean, but very dingy (to the […] point that I did not want to take a shower in there). The location is good - about a ten minute walk from the attractions - and the street was very quiet at night. One of the reasons I booked at this location was because of the complimentary breakfast - unfortunately, it wasn't good. The bread didn't fit in the toaster, and rather than offering individual butter and jams, everyone had to get their jam and margarine from the same tub/jar, which was kind of gross. Also, I had to spread my butter with a plastic fork because there were no knives. I also noticed that there were no spoons even though cereal was offered. The staff was very friendly but they really didn't seem to know what they were doing a lot of the time. All in all, I wish I had spent an extra 20 or 30 dollars and stayed somewhere else. I would recommend this place for people who are only interested in somewhere cheap to lay their head for the night - if you want more than that, I would suggest going elsewhere. Read more

When we first drove up to the hotel, we were discussing whether to forfeit the money we had paid and go somewhere else. The outside of the main building does not look very nice. The pool looked terrible (for the record it was closed for the season), but worthy of pictures for the wrong reasons. We were in a WE getaway with 3 children in a family room. Except the smell of febreze in the room the sheets were clean and the room was large enough for the 6 of us. The location is perfect 12min from the falls. Despite all the bad review I would recommand it because it's a good deal !

The room was big, comfortable and clean but the carpets looked stained. The bathroom was big and clean. I'll add that this is my second stay in this hotel, the first one 2 years ago, and back then our room smelled moldy and like cigars and we were not happy with it. This time everything was great but I don't know if they renovated, last time was a fluke […] or this time was a fluke. After this stay, I would gamble on it and stay again. The hair dryer didn't work and started smoking when we used it but the lady at the front desk immediately replaced it with a new one and apologized. The front staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room came equipped with a small desk, good-size fridge and iron which was a plus. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Clifton Hill tourist area, 15-20 minute walk from the falls and 20-25 minute walk from the Casino in Fallsview. Read more

They have just renovated the room but poor house maintenance, there were paints drops in the wash room and cobwebs on AC and dusty phone and table. The location was good including packing. If you looking for luxury you may have to think twice, but if you just want a decent place to lay your head then its not so bad of a place to go

I and my friend liked this hotel very much. The staff was friendly. The room and the bathroom were clean. we had a TV, the iron with the board and drying hair fan. The bath towels and bad sheets were fresh and clean. Hotel has a nice pool and free parking. It's only 3-4 minutes walk from all attractions. We came from a long trip. When we got there, we've asked them if they can accomodate us for an early check in. At first the lady said we have to wait at least 1 hour for her to check us in. That was around 12 noon when we arrived. Later on, she told us that she needs extra $20.00 in order for her to check us in early. the only good thing in the room were the clean sheets... carpet was super dirty, there was no mirror in the bathroom and the hairdryer was there but no outlet where you can connect it. location was good walking distance to the waterfalls.... overall, if you are looking for a bed to crush in and just get out in the morning, thats what you get.

I'm a broke college student from Buffalo NY and my buddies and I wanted to go to Niagara Falls for the night. We got a room with 2 big beds and a pull out couch for super cheap. It was within walking distance to Clifton Hill. If luxury isn't the most important thing to you, I would definitely recommend it.

Staff was very friendly and polite. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Convenient wlking distance to all attractions. WiFi reception had poor connectivity. Only one of two TVs worked in the family suite. No mirror in the bathroom. Only served breakfast on weekends but coffee available in lobby.

The bathroom door could not close, apparently the size of the door was bigger than the size of the door frame. Also, there was no maid service that came to clean the room during both days we stayed there. Lastly, I believe that they promoted a refrigerator and microwave in the room, but there was none present.

This hotel was absolutely gross. Dirty towels were left in the bathtub. There were bodily fluids and hair all over the tub, walls, toilet and floor. Plus half used shampoo etc bottles scattered throughout. I had to go to a nearby store to purchase cleaning supplies in order to make the room satisfactory. I did not lodge a compliant with the owners as […] they did not speak English even remotely enough to be able to understand the gist of my compliant. The parking lot was filthy, full of food scraps, beer bottles, toilet paper etc. I was surprised that we did not pick up bed bugs or the like from this trash can of a room. Had it not been a long week with most other hotels booked solid, we would have left and took the loss. I do not recommend any one waste even the minimal dollars a night to stay at this dive. Worst Hotel ever , I am a travelling sales rep. and have seen some pretty bad hotels but this the worst. Do not go by the pictures that are on the web site as they are out dated and nothing like what it looks like now. Room was not cleaned properly as there was more hair and dirt on the bathroom floor than you would see at a hair salon. Shampoo and […] soap were reused with shampoo bottle only half full and soap box was water damaged. NO PHONE, NO TV, Gaps around windows to let bugs in, No mirror in bathroom, windows had pop or something thrown on them with the dried on residue left, 1/4 of a roll of TP to do a family of 4. To top it all off there were other quest being loud until 4 am and the fire alarm went off for an hour and half. In the morning I went to talk with the Manager and the office was locked up with note on the door saying he would back but no time when, we waited until 9:30 before the front office was open to check out and complain. He was no help only blamed everything on the police because they couldn't keep the other quest quite, the fire department because they didn't come to turn off the alarm and last but not lease the contractor that was doing renovations??? I didn't see any renovations going on any where. In the end he said that he needed to ask someone else what the hotel could do for us and that he would call me on monday. Unless you are on a very limited budget stay away. Room was bare; no phone, no tissues, no baseboard, not clean, desk with no chair (behind the tv cabinet where it would not be accessible anyway). Curtains were two feet too long for the windows. Heat/cool looked about 50 years old. Far below the quality of many low priced hotels.

Very old furnishings. Carpet was stained, bedspreads faded. Although bathroom appeared clean, old fixtures, cracks, etc. Sheets and pillow cases old and worn. Probably a good price for last minute in Niagara Falls, but I'd never stay in a Red Carpet again.

We had a horrible uncomfortable stay. Room not worth the price. This is definitely one of the worst places that I have ever stayed. It was more like staying in a sleazy apartment complex than a hotel room. 10 Minute walk to 90% of the attractions near Niagara. People go to Niagara for watching Niagara on the lake & nearby attractions, not for living in hotels...so I recommend this hotel for a short stay and get most out of your outdoor living!
