The lady at the front desk said the room I had reserved (non-smoking, queen bed) was not available. She finally found another non-smoking room for us with two doubles. Later in the evening, a couple was trying to get into my room because the front desk had given them the same room I was in when they checked in. It was very confusing.

My daughter will be attending Chowan University in Murfreesboro, NC this fall. We found that there are VERY few places to stay within a 20 mile radius. After researching the few nearby towns, I located Super 8 in Franklin. The front desk was very pleasant and courteous. They welcomed me and had my room/keys ready and waiting for me. Even though it was […] only an overnight stay, it was comfortable and clean. It was all that we needed since we were only sleeping and checking out the next morning. It is definitely top of the line for a lower end budget hotels. The room was all that we needed. The continental breakfast was smaller than what I have been accustomed. I would have liked to had some healthier selections such as fruit and yogurt. For the price compared to the other hotel in the town, it was well worth it. Even though this time we did not need to stores in town, it was convenient to a McDonald's, full service restaurant and even a Wal-Mart. As we deliver our daughter to Chowan University in mid-August, I am sure we will be returning to Super 8 for another overnight stay. If you are going to be traveling down to historic Murfreesboro, NC, I would suggest that you book a room at the Super 8 if you only need an overnight stop. It will more than suffice. Read more

The room was ok - it had a small refrigerator and a safe that you paid to use. The bedspread had lots of cigarette holes in it although it was a non-smoking room. The room smelled of smoke also - was wondering if the first floor was smoking because the 2nd floor was non-smoking - don't they know that smoke rises? The hotel was vry nice. The rates were very reasonable. The bed was very comfortable. I have neck problems and often problems resting whenever i'm traveling but the bed at this Super 8 was so comfortable I rested very well. The place was clean and I would recommend it to anyone. I thank my daughter for recommending it to us. We usually stay at country […] Inn and Suites, Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn but this was recommended highly when we went to Franklin for a Funeral. shower curtain missing, noticed after stepped into shower...wiped up residual water on floor and floor was filthy would not stay there again value to price-very low suggest not offering this property on your site there were other name brand hotels in the area whose marquis showed lower pricing not a happy customer!
