Overall very happy with cost vs. amenities. Good value.

I had a non-view room that was very small, but adequate for one person. I should have been given the option by Hotels.com to stay in a larger room, at which point I could have decided on the view room at a greater price.Being able to open the window would have been a plus; the small room had to be kept locked up, as the window faced onto the walkway and was accessible to anyone coming in from the street. I had a rental car, but could have gotten by without one. This hotel is located on the main highway at the exit for the central town. It is not really near the beach, but a bus runs by headed for major beaches.

Wi-Fi connections were great. Pool was nice but a bit cold...however, we were not in Cabo for the pool. Hotel is convenient and although close to the highway, it was quiet. If we were not at a Time Share resort we would stay there again.

Yes it's not on the beach but it was perfect for 12 guys on a bachelor party. Centrally located to the Marina. Perfect for fishing and boating as well.

This hotel was spectacular. The service is extremely good, particularly at the pool but also in the restaurants. They don't bother you but if you even sit up and look around like you want something they are there in seconds. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed 4 nights and never left the resort. The restaurants are awesome and serve really […] nice gourmet quality food. The prices are good as well, and the servings are often large enough to share. Unlike many resorts, I didn't feel robbed by the bill at the end of the day at the pool or at the end of dinner. The hot chocolate at the beach restaurant was the best ever, they make it homemade, no powdery stuff. The pool is heavenly. The beach is also nice but the water is pretty rocky around there, it was about 80 degrees the whole time we were there. I felt very safe the whole time I was in the resort. The spa was also very nice. I had a great massage and facial. It is a timeshare but they only asked once if we wanted a timeshare tour. Will definitely visit again. Read more
I WAS THERE IN SEPTEMBER HOTEL DOSN'T HAVE BEACH, AND THE MATTRESS OF THE ROOM 247 IT'S TO OLD, NOT CONFORTABLE.
"Lots of pool space, great views, quiet"
Went here for a four-day getaway, was awesome. Great restaurants on site too - much better than the all-inclusives around. Not too impressed about the club level offering, but you get free breakfast and better views, at least. Was really quiet when we were there, so plenty of space in the common areas. Very helpful staff too, and don't get fooled by […] the name, this is no tacky fiesta americana, it's a solid local high-end hotel. Read more
"Very nice hotel"
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, clean resort. Only drawback is far from marina and action downtown. You should be okay if you rent a car, its probably cheaper than paying for taxi to take you back and forth.

"I'll be back"
I loved this resort. Great service, very nice people, beautiful views, great room, big value for the dollar. Had the Passport and used most of it. Beautiful grounds, tons of privacy, amazing spa... I'll be back!
"Authentic Mexican Los Cabos Resort"
This is the real deal, a spacious friendly,Mexican Los Cabos resort. Great pool and restaurant. Great views.(not for swimming), near all beaches. Great place to take a family to experience the authentic warm of the Mexican culture.
"Don't be put off by the name"
When I was looking for places for my fiance and I to go on vacation in Baja, the Fiesta Americana was probably the last one I looked at. The name sounded cheesy, so I kind of avoided it. I can say without a doubt, however, that it far exceeded my expectations on almost every front. I have vacationed at various world-class resorts in the Caribbean, West […] Africa and Mexico, and this ranks among the top. A far better experience than you would get from an all-inclusive. The staff was friendly, the food and spa excellent, the sky blue everyday and the resort private and pristine. Not to say everything was perfect, but the stuff that wasn't didn't really matter. I would very much recommend paying more for the Grand Club. Between the continental breakfast and the discount it gives you on everything throughout the resort, it really works out in your favor. The only disappointment was the actual town of Cabo san Lucas. Very commercialized, although with some very good restaurants. Read more
"FANTASTIC. BEST SERVICE EVER"
These folks gave us a fantastic experience. From check in to check out and in betwween. We had dinner at the beach restaurant once and at the italian restaurant. The food was amazing like food network quality and presentation. Also the breakfast buffet is out of this world. Rooms were 5 star quality. Great view from the room.

"Maravilloso!"
El hotel esta precioso, excelente servicio y trato de los anfitriones.
"management problems"
The Hotel manager made this stay completely miserable. A Sr Martinez made this stay a miserable experience. he did not follow up on anything he said he would do. He caused my daughter to cry several times with his rude comments. I would never stay here again even the the hotel and setting were beautiful.
