We were just passing though, so were only able to stay one night. The location is right next to the beach, which makes it very easy to take a leisurely stroll along the shore. The staff was very pleasant, and the room was spacious and comfortable. We wished there would have been more time to stay a few more nights.

Over all a decent room. Clean hotel, great breakfast buffet. Kids enjoyed the lazy river pool and the beach was convenient. I would say the "suite" was really a glorified room. Not much space to sleep a purported 6 people. Our ocean view was really a parking lot view as well.

we paid in excess of 220 dollars for one nights accomodation.the room had a microwave and fridge,but nocups,no,glasses. when asked reception told we could have paper cups(no glasses available).at what was called breakfast,you ate off paper plateswith plastic knives and forks,and yes paper cups.over priced overrated.and snookered at corolla

The accommodations and location were fine. The "free" breakfast was marginal - less than we expected of a destination/resort hotel where the nearest restaurant was 7 or 8 miles away.

This was my wife's and my first visit for us to this hotel, and we were very impressed with every facet of the hotel and its operation. The staff were friendly and professional, the hotel and the rooms were spotlessly clean, and the breakfast buffet ( which was free) was excellent. The ocean front location was close to local restaurants but yet far […] enough to give you the feeling of tranquility. They essentially had their own private beach since there wan't another home or hotel within an eighth of a mile. Very nice hotel -- lots of amenities, right on the beach, and large rooms. They are getting ready to rennovate, so I expect it to be even better in 2013. The staff is helpful, the grounds are very nice, and the location is perfect. I am already planning the next stay!

The Hampton is a great location if you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel, and don't want the hassle that comes with renting a house (i.e. taking care of yourself). The hotel pool was always clean, and very relaxing. They also have an office center which we used to print our boarding passes. The Hampton truly had everything we needed.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Outer Banks-Corolla was a very nice getaway with my nnew hubby. Yes, it was a bit of a driving distance from everything but it all worked out though. The upkeep of the hotel is very good, the staff was helpful and friendly, and friendly guest. And, how many hotels have you been to that has a hotel pet. But the cat stays outside. I loved getting in to the indoor pool and hot tub. The Hampton Inn proved to be very clean, well appointed, and in a nice, picturesque location along the Outer Banks for our Honeymoon. The breakfast was all-inclusive, the hotel was in good repair, and the staff was friendly. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
