"Nashville - The Panhandler Capital of the USA"
Hotel was perfectly adequate for the price. Bed was only moderately comfortable, but the room was clean. Bath towels were a little thin, but the shower produced good water pressure and plenty of hot water.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Slower pace than downtown"
I stayed here with a couple of buddies for a weekend in Nashville. I purposely picked the Vanderbilt area as I had been to Nashville before and the affordability, yet proximity to fun the location offered was exactly what I was looking for. A straight shot from all of the downtown, finding fun was a snap. And if the Nashville nightlife isn't for you, […] which it is not for me -- too many sweaty clubs and $5 beers -- the Vanderbilt area is great. There are plenty of joints, non-chain even, where you can park around a table out on a patio, enjoy a meal and drink, and people-watch. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice, Simple, Economical"
The room was nice. Everything was clean. The staff was very friendly. The kitchenette was fairly well supplied with dishes and flatwear. Bathroom was clean and in good condition. A very nice stay, we will definitely consider staying there on our next trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what I was expecting"
Location good. Exterior looks nice but interior about main floor was disappointing. Hallway (non smoking) smells of smoke. Rooms clean but nothing special. Difficult to get help from from desk (wait for assistance, phone, many excuses given. Next visit I will spend a few dollars more to stay in a nicer hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Smashville Visit."
Room was fine for an overnight trip. Queen beds would have been nice and a complimentary coffee would have been a nice touch. We don't spend much time in our room when traveling so it did situ our purpose. TVs need to be updated too. Staff was very pleasant.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very dirty. Thought it would be decent since it is in a nice area of town, but the rooms were gross.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A decent hotel for the price."
If you need someplace in the West End area to spend a night or two at a budget friendly price, then this is a good place to stop over. Several pros: the staff is friendly and courteous; the rooms are comfortable ( I like a good firm mattress on a king sized bed :-)) and clean; the kitchenette is nice and clean; the wifi is pretty strong and there are […] no interruptions to your service. Cons: the tubs in the bathrooms don't drain very well when you are in the shower so you will find your ankles covered in water within 3 minutes of starting your shower; there is no view (except of the parking lot or the street (so no aesthetics there); there was a weird clicking that led me to believe that someone was trying to sneak into the room, but I chalked it up to the fridge. Overall, I would stay there again for the price and the duration if I was in the city again, but I would not be able to stay there longer than a couple of nights. "Great Location"
Close to Vandy, good places to eat and right off of the 440 Freeway. Easy access to just about anything in 10 - 15 minutes via freeway.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great stay"
Great location. Great selection of upscale restaurants and straight, no turns access to Broadway entertainment district in NashVegas. For the price and location in a very safe, upscale neighborhood, you can't beat this hotel. We'll stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review

"No room and already there"
I was on the way to the hotel when I received a text that there had been a problem with my reservation. Come to find out the hotel was overbooked. I called the number and the person on the other end was nice but he asked me why I chose that location. Well it was near Vanderbilt where I had a meeting. Well I arrived at the hotel and they "found" a room […] for me. The room was very clean. Otherwise all was good, but I was there when the tornados were coming through, I asked about the evacuation route, the front desk did not know. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel Experience"
We stayed for 3 nights and not once did someone come in to clean our room or re-stock our towels and washcloths. Each time we had to go to the front desk and ask for more while our old towels stayed piled up in the corner of the bathroom. Not only that, every time we took a shower, the drain wouldn't drain correctly. I would shower, which looked like […] I took a bath, and then my friend who stayed with me would follow in taking a shower, but had to stand in my "dirty" shower water. Eventually, the water did drain after approximately 2-3 hours. Lastly, upon check-in to the hotel, I had spelled my first and last name for the clerk. We had paid for 2 double beds but entered into a room that only had 1 queen size bed. Upon approaching this clerk about the situation, she states "Well, you ordered your hotel room online and they booked you a one bed queen and we are now out of 2 double bed rooms, so there is nothing I can do." We spent the first hour and a half of our first day there getting a hold of Expedia who confirmed that we did in fact order a 2 double bed room. She then called the front desk in order to fix the issue. We went back downstairs to speak to a different clerk and ended up finding out that the previous clerk put us in a room of a lady named "Nicole Wentlender" (sounds nothing like my name). My complaint is not that the clerk put us in the wrong room, but how she handled the situation once we had told her we ordered a 2 bed room by simply saying "nothing I can do". "Extended Stay - easy place"
Decent Hotel. If you are looking for a place close to downtown with no charge parking, this is a nice place. Clean room, nothing fancy, but great for a quick night stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Budget Friendly"
If you're on a budget and need a nice, clean place to stay in the West End area, I definitely recommend Extended Stay. Only downside was that they ran out of pillows and I couldn't get an extra one, but that wasn't a big deal.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice for extended stay"
The rooms are quite comfortable but as this is an extended stay facility the rooms are cleaned only once per week. Cooking facilities (Stove, MW, Pots, plates, etc) are provided but you will need to clean-up after yourself. The staff was very accommodating to all my requests.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Safe and sound... but not updated"
The room was a good value for the location (near Vanderbilt University and West End restaurants). However, the rooms haven't been updated with new carpet or decor so there were stains and cigarette smells in the hallway. The neighborhood is safe and the location is very convenient. For an inexpensive stay, it is worth the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Windows should close"
Jan 2, 2012: First room was freezing. Window was stuck open, & could not be closed. My reassigned room was fine.Genuine Expedia guest review
"near vanderbilt hospital"
This hotel was near the hospital but i expected more for the price. Clean but simple things absent. No radio in room, tv was a small 19 inch. Internet cost 4.99. No shampoos or soap for kitchen sink. Room was clean but worn. Some cobwebs in corners. Room did not have a couch, was told only another type of this hotel had that.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Pleasantly surprised"
After Reading some negative reviews we were a bit hesitant to book this hotel, however we decided to give it a chance and we're very pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, bed a bit stiff but otherwise no complaints! About a ten dollar cab ride downtown made for an easy way to go out at night. "Good location and basic amenities"
The hotel location had easy access to freeway and downtown. Very good small kitchen. I saved money over my stay and was very comfortable. Shopping is nearby.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great room for the price"
The kitchen was a nice extra and the location was almost perfect. A mile or 2 from the Nashville night scene. We had reservations for dinner at Maggiano's and suprise! It was across the street. The only downside was the a/c heater: no fan option made for a slightly stuffy room. Otherwise, excellent experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"SeRved the purpose"
I booked a particular room. When we arrived they had to give me a different room. That was not cool. Price was right. Be sure to stay on an upper floor. They have parking underneath that may disturb.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great for the price."
I had a great stay here, they met my needs. It is not as nice as a 5 star hotel, however it is quite adaquate for the price. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Near Vandy"
Needs updating! Old, stained carpet, no in room shampoo, shower lever was stuck (in off position), parking was tight. Location was convenient to Vanderbilt and the kitchette was well furnished.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Superb Stay"
Very nice experience from friendliness of front desk staff to comfort of room. Impecable cleanliness. This is extended stay and I only stayed one night while in city for seminar, but would definitely return. Very convenient parking. As a Nashville resident prior to early retirement, wished to stay at location in this area because of it's convenience. "Not Nice in Nashville"
The smoke free room that we had was indeed smoke free. "Extended Stay America Nashville"
The hotel itself is not bad, but everything else is horrible. They do not offer breakfast, they only offer a shuttle to the hospital at 7am and 7pm. If you want to use wifi they charge 4 bucks. They even take a $50 deposit on your cc for placing even if you do not use long distance. I will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone .Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good value for what you get"
The room was comfortable enough, but for us the main plus was the little kitchen with sink, refrigerator, dishes, microwave, coffee maker. There were also a number of very good restaurants within walking distance. I was a little concerned that the room might smell because of the "smoking allowed" policy, but to my relief there were no unpleasant smells. The […] room was generally clean, but the exception was the floor which was quite dirty, to the extent that I found an almond (by standing on it), and under the bed was a tin of (half used) tobacco. By nature of the style of hotel, they don't change the towels, sheets, on a daily basis, but the staff at the front desk were friendly and always ready to pass over additional supplies of whatever was needed. I would have liked it if the hotel had some more information for tourists at the front desk, or even a stand with advertisements for local attractions, but all they could give us was a list of local restaurants and a map for one tourist bus service. "Good value, great location"
I have stay here twice in the last two years. It is a moderately priced, clean, basic hotel. It is aimed for the extended stay client. The location is excellent, with easy access to main roadways and interstates. Do not expect luxury and bells and whistles here, but also no bed bugs either!! Both my stays here have been positive.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Extended Stay America, Nashville Vanderbilt"
Nice price, comfortable stay. Not a lot of extras but great value for the money. Within walking distance of many restaurants. A 5 minute drive to downtown. Nashville is a great place. Must hit Broadway and Printers Alley downtown at least once.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Extended Stay Vanderbilt"
The hotel was decent. Good location down the street from Vanderbilt and a reasonable price. Bed was not very comfortable and we had no shampoo. However, there were dishes in the cabinets to use for meals, as well as a stove and microwave. I would stay there again in the future, epecially for a longer stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good room for the price"
The service when we checked in and out was nice, no complaints there. The room was nothing fancy but not bad for the price, when considering the price of other hotels in the area. There were no toiletries but there was a sign in the bathroom that said if you forgot some you could go down to the desk and ask for some. Overall, a nice place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
