On a peninsula overlooking scenic Waitemata Harbour, Auckland CBD is not only the country’s major business centre, but plays host to a concentration of artistic and cultural venues in addition to nightlife precincts. In more recent years, much of the waterfront has been reclaimed for high-end residential apartments, trendy cafes and bars, marinas, and public recreational use.

Good rate compared to other hotels in this location. Older hotel that has been remodeled, but very nice.

The reception staff were extraordinarily helpful with everything and are probably amongst the best I've come across. Rooms are excellent.........The only gripe I have about the hotel is the 'fitness room', which is basically just a couple of treadmills and a single weight machine.

Hotel is ideally located. Room smelt slightly damp and windows don't open. Internet in room did not work but there is internet available at a terminal in the lobby. Room comfortable with a small kitchenette.

Location is awful, you must use their parking and it is an extra 25 dollars everytime you use it. Find a different hotel!

Hotel was centrally located for many of the places we wanted to visit, stores, restaurants, etc. Price for the size room and anemities was good. The early check-in after a long time was appreciated. The only drawback was the music coming from the bar next door late that evening that couldn't be drowned out. We were on the first floor though, not sure if it would bother people on the other floors, something to consider if one decides to stay there to ask for an upper level room.
