For the price and the amenities I was disappointed. We paid for a King bed and were told that selection was not guaranteed upon check-in. Could have saved a few dollars if I knew that. This hotel is like most old hotels that are trying to be boutique-e. The location is favorable but for the price it is questionable. This hotel was a decent price compared to the rest that were not already sold out because of the convention. The hotel staff was friendly.

Friendly, helpful staff. Restaurant attached serves a good breakfast. Many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Located on streetcar line. My only complaint would be the pedestal sink, no space to put toiletries as you are using them, and no full length mirror in the room.

We enjoyed a very good stay at the Blake Hotel with access to New Orleans Attractions within walking distance. The Rooms are clean but need TLC. The Staff was friendly and helpul. Very good value for the price.

Provides all the basics plus on site cafe. It's great that you can park overnight on the street and save the valet parking fee. Just feed the meet at 8am or get your day started.

Very mediocre hotel. The best thing was the room was clean. Both elevators were not working well. Rooms were not ready until after 5pm. Roll away bed was awful. Had to ask for it 3 times. No blankets on the beds.

No parking only valet available. The room had spray painted windows to block view of adjacent building (parking garage)...NO VIEW!!! Room was not roomy (double beds). The ice machine was out of order and our room was in a corner with the stairwell exit, hotel staff storage, and elevator maintenance room. Security had to come up twice to control the noise until 2:30am which lasted for about an hour or so on...I eventually gave up and feel asleep from the travel. This hotel is only a couple blocks from canal street which was really nice,but during the time we were staying there there was a lot of construction going on on the floor we were on and outside. They put on the 2nd floor we were woken up by bamming and sawing on the first day we were there, and when I tried to take a shower the water was very cold it […] never got hot, when I reported it to the hotel staff they did fix it right away but was told that the hoses for the water were mixed up, we had to put on car in valet parking which took 30 minutes to get out of valet, the room was very nice but there was a gap from the end of the matress to the wall, so when I feel I asleep I kept waking up because the pillows kept falling down the gap. Overall the hotel was great except for the little things, also wait to say the time that we were staying New Orleans and the Hotel itself was getting ready for Super Bowl and Mardi Gras. Read more
