I stayed 5 nights , staff was great, the tv quit and i was moved to another room, great place to stay and save a few bucks.

We were on a shoestring budget and we chose Super 8 mostly for the price. We found that the location was fairly convenient to everything we wanted to do. The staff was very helpful and our stay was quite pleasant. I will definitely stay there on our next visit to Fairbanks.

I checked in without a problem. When I went inside the room, I noticed that the room was very dimly lit. As I went in, I also noticed that the room smells very damp. There was some sort of unrecognized trash(?) in one of the room's three chairs. The hotel is located near downtown Fairbanks, but it's somewhat far from everything interesting other than […] Pioneer Park. The "Super Start Breakfast" is not much of a breakfast at all. If you plan to eat breakfast, there's a McDonald, Denny's, and Wendy's right across the street. The hotel is in a rather quiet location. This hotel is only good for sleeping. If you plan on staying in the room for more than just sleeping, look elsewhere. It's a cheap hotel for a cheap price. Read more

Water dripping from the faucet in the tub all night. The windows in a coworker's room wouldn't open. I got a few spoons into the free yogurt breakfast before I realized it expired over a month ago.

Customer service was better than EXCELLENT! Staff very conscientious and well trained. Responded to every need! Airport shuttle excellent. Would stay there again and again if in town! We even enjoyed traveling on the local bus route near front door to downtown and back to get flavor of Fairbanks.

We had one washcloth in our room for two people. There was long black hair on the floor behind the door. The kleenex located by the sink were soaking wet. The side of the box spring had a foot and a half tear in it. My husband asked the clerk for a booklet of other Super 8 motels and was told by the clerk that he didn't know anything about that and […] didn't think they had anything like that. There was a young man wearing a shirt and tie and sunglasses who vacuumed our hallway for over an hour and a half. Smell of smoke was thick in the hall and even thicker in the room. There were stains everywhere even the mattress was stained. When I asked to change rooms, there were none available so I changed hotels.

Check in was suppose to be at 2, got there at 5:30pm and the room was not clean. No room service the next day, front desk had to bring down towels, soap, and shampoo. Room service the following day was 3pm. where they then took the extra towels and the extra roll of toilet paper. The shower dripped and they came down to repair the constant drip, however, […] he put the handle back on wrong and we couldn't adjust the temperature of the shower above cool. After taking the handle off we used the guts of the control to turn it to warm water. The bedspread had not been cleaned as there was visible spots of blood on it. Convenient to local bus (Blue Line and Red Line) stops in front of Super 8 with short rides to University of Alaska, Pioneer Village, and "downtown" Fairbanks for connection with other bus lines at the Transit Terminal. Free breakfast 6am to 9am, all you can eat FRESH white and wheat bread, toasters, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea, cocoa and orange juice, […] and milk, and free coffee in lobby all day long. ALL STAFF was very friendly and helpful. Room and bath were IMMACULATE: squeaky clean. Easy to operate modern ELECTRONIC SAFE. Only difference between this Super 8 and the "so called luxury hotels" was no swimming pool or gym room (and I did not go to Alaska to swim or work out on my vacation). Super 8 is a franchise, so all of them are individually owned and managed I believe, just would be mopre appearing if the name was changed to FAMILY INN or HOTEL FAIRBANKS ... the name Super 8 implies shoddiness somehow, and I chose this hotel for budget reasons. SUPRISE SURPRISE .. this is certainly a 4-star quality hotel. Plus the Denny's restaurant next door serves generous heaping platters of excellent food, better value than the numerous fast food joints (all of them) near by on Airport Road. Also a "medical emergency center" is next door. The restaurants in downtown Fairbanks are over priced with low quality food. I was actually charged $4 for a glass of orange juice which was actually TANG mix powder orange flavored drink. Read more

The place has no elevator. Only stairs,my husband just had surgery and they wouldn't help with bags. Even when asked to help.we also had a pet room they charge $25 for each pet they need to use that and maybe shampoo the carpets. It stank so bad,the shower woulnd drain,the toilets were plugged up and didn't flush well.I won't return there ever.

You can only describe this hotel as adequate. For a few dollars more, you can stay at a much nicer hotel in the same area. Lugging the bags up and down stairs is not a good plan for a hotel.

O.K. hotel for what we paid - but, just because we asked for a non-smoking room doesn't mean that our room and the entire floor we were on didn't fill with cigarette smoke from the other rooms. Yuck! It's worth it to pay more for another hotel.

Fairbanks Super 8 Motel is about as convenient as you can get. The location is right off the Airport Road and it's centered on all that is Fairbanks. It's a 5 minute walk to the Sports Arena and right next to the movie theater. Ultimately, it's a great place to go if you want to spend a lot of time away from the motel room and use the motel as a place […] to lay your head. you can tell the new towels from the old, because the used ones are grey mixed with new white ones. the carpet looks used and abused, had my whole family use slippers. urine smelling room that we could not stand. i highly not recommened.

This motel is the type of motel that you would catch a serial killer at. The "non-smoking" room still smells of smoke. The carpet looks original and nasty. The lighting is poor and dingy. The room is small and cramped. The bathroom towels smelled mildewy, with a hint of vomit in them. I do not recommend this motel to anyone.

HOTEL SUPER 8 IN FAIRBANKS WAS ALL I NEEDED FOR MY TWO STAYS THE ACTING MANAGER AND HIS STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFULL THERE WERE EATING PLACES ALL AROUND AND THE BUS STOP WAS RIGHT NEXT DOOR AND A VERY GOOD TRANSPORT SERVICE IT IS I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN

値段からすると設備もサービスも不可のないホテルです。 到着したのがチェックイン時間前だったのですが、受付してもらえました。 公共のに電子レンジ、製氷機、自販機がありました。部屋でフリーWifi利用可でした。 朝食は6：00～9：00の間で、食パンやシナモンロール、ワッフル、シリアル、コーヒー、紅茶、ジュース、ヨーグルト、ゆで卵などがありました。 チェックアウトが早朝だったためか空港への送迎は契約しているタクシーがすぐ来て送ってくれました。（料金はかかりません） ホテルを出てすぐのところにバス停もあるので、本数は少ないですが、ダウンタウンやアラスカ大学にも行けます。

Det værste motel vi nogensinde har boet på. Værelserne var meget beskidte, lugtede fælt af indelukkethed og gammel cigaretrøg, meget ringe standard. Værelseskorridorerne var desuden usædvanligt varme og uventilerede. Tørretumbleren virkede uhensigtsmæssigt og varmede alt for meget, så noget af vores tøj krøb. Morgenbuffet i kælderen hvor der også var […] meget indelukket og lugtede af gammelt brød. Venlig dame i receptionen forsøgte på bedste vis at finde nyt værelse til os, men de var alle sammen ens. Aircond. virkede dårligt, og hårtørreren var ved at falde ned fra væggen. Vinduerne var beskidte m.v. Kan bestemt ikke anbefales. Byen var også et usædvanlig kedeligt bekendtskab.
