Very comfortable room. Free parking (limited). Stayed there b/c I wanted to get up in the AM to go for a jog along Crissy Fields. Walk to Starbucks for breakfast.

Our room was clean. The bed was Oh-So comfortable and the pillows were soft like ours at home. Our check-in was quick and courteous. I had read that getting towels promptly was a problem. We did not experience any problems. Our stay was a good experience and we will book again with this hotel.

Before booking this hotel(4 nights)I read no less than 3 dozen reviews from different review sites and decided that an average 3.5 rating for the price, and location (Marina district S.F.),might be worth a stay. The hotel, though clean in room and out, wreaked of strong curry. I like curry very much but the extremely strong scent of this every day was a bit distracting. I don't travel to spend many hours in a hotel room so the size of a room is usually neglibible. The size of our room was sufficient for the price. The large screen flat-panel TV which offered great resolution and reception was a particularly pleasant surprise. The negative review remarks about the hotel staff (manager in particular) was spot on, as I learned very soon not to bother asking for anything (ie; pillows,towels,etc...) as the manager had absolutely no interest in accommodating me with any additional items. The noise level from Lombard st. is only an issue if you're in the habit of sleeping within the hours of 6pm-6am, we were up every morning by 6 to breakfast and ride bikes. The continental breakfast here is a joke, don't bother. There are plenty of very nice breakfast restaurants within a 2 minute walk from this hotel. Laso, there are a few nice bar & grill's and food markets nearby which make this a very favorable location, but many other hotels exist within this area and I think I might shop about these hotels upon my next visit. The beach is a 5 minute walk from hotel, which makes this a very nice location for us as we'd never even consider driving a car in SF. Overall, I "might" stay at this hotel again and, with my review in mind,"might" recommend this hotel to others desiring to stay in this particular area.

This is an awesome little hotel. It's fun and quirky, you'll have a good time here. The only downside was breakfast, eggs and bacon should be the standard everywhere =]

I was greeted with rudeness when checking in. I was given a room with a television with really bad reception. I was told it would be a little fuzzy and their was no clear picture. Both rooms had a very bad odor. We had to keep the doors open for about 2 hours and we went to buy air freshners. In my daughters room , 3 people were staying, there was only enough towels for 2. My daughter asked for more towels and she was told she had enough towels. My daughter had to argue with the manager. She finally agreeded and told my daughter she needed to go the the laundry room to get them herself. My daughter told her no, that she needed to get them. The manager was upset when she walked over and opened the door and said go get the towels her self. The next day it took all day for them to give us clean towels. We had no towels til late afternoon. We went to san francisco for my son's gradutation. Overall I was very unhappy with my stay at the hotel. You can hear what the people are saying from the next room, so it was hard to sleep.

Mkt över förväntan. Efter att ha testat ett 10 tal olika under en kortare period så var super 8 det absolut mest prisvärda. Kändes nyrenoverat. Välstädat med trevlig personal.
