Hotel check-in was trouble/hassle free. Everything was explained so no need for guessing. Front desk gal was very pleasant and friendly - she was from South Africa! Rooms were quaint with log furniture. Our room faced the court yard so outside noise wasn't a problem. Although noise thru the corridors of the hotel were a bit loud from inside of our room. That would be our only complaint. We utilized the small fitness room and the whirlpool. Both were clean and user friendly. Continental breakfast was what we expected - cereal, toast, bagels, juice, coffee/tea and a nice bonus of yogurt and fresh fruit. I'm not sure why people think a continental breakfast is bacon and eggs!? This was, in our opinion, an added bonus staying at this hotel. Most hotels do not offer breakfast of any sort included in the price especially in Banff. Underground parking is available for $5/day. We paid the fee for convenience instead of finding parking. Most parking around the hotel is time restricted so we didn't want to find a ticket on our windshield. Hotel is right in the heart of downtown Banff. No need to drive-restaurants, nite life, shopping all within walking distance. Checkout was a snap. No waiting in line. I would, without a doubt, stay at this hotel again! Thank you!!

Brewster's is conveniently located to all the downtown shopping and restaurants. The front desk staff was very helpful and made some great dinner suggestions.

This was a lovely hotel. We had a delux king room and the bathroom had a jacuzzi bath. The room was quite dark but had patio windows that opened onto a small courtyard. I would have loved to stay in a suite as they looked fab with a view of the mountains. The location was great - just one block away from Banff Avenue

We are very happy with the location of the hotel and the service of hotel staff. The room we booked has two QB. The size is very large comparing to most standard rooms. The only problem is the internet access. We need to stay in the lobby area to access the internet since there is no signals in the rooms. According to the staff, they will make improvement on that.

Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Great breakfast. But parking was not free. Was alittle noisy outside but that's is expected as it is in the middle of Banff downtown. Overall pretty good place for the price. Would recommend it.

This was a rather cute, clean hotel, OK for the inflated summer prices in Canada. The staff was nice, and it is right next to the superb Maple Leaf Restaurant. HOWEVER, the night NOISE was incredible. Perhaps it is the 10 p.m. sunset, but revellers screamed and laughed beneath our windows as late as 3 a.m. Earplugs did not work. The only thing we asked for by phone and on check in was "a quiet room," and we were not told that that was utterly impossible. The rooms are small, and views are either the close side of a building across an often truck-clogged alley, or the loud street. As Banff is totally walkable, I would stay at any of the many other hotels even 1-2 short blocks "out of town." Most listed here look like ski lodges in rural areas, but are right "in town," just without being surrounded by shops and pedestrian traffic. Most also have rooms facing the mountains despite being village-close.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and although conveniently located in the heart of town that did have one drawback -noise from a nearby club/disco. The night was warm and we did have the window open so that made the problem worse, but the disturbance only continued until about 1:00 am. The front desk clerk was very helpful and the free continental breakfast was well supplied with a variety of items. Overall the stay was okay, but would try to find somewhere else next time just because of the disturbed night.

Friendly and helpful hotel personnel. Good location. Breakfast is just plain bread, pastry and cereal but you can get fancy breakfast at other places in the town.

Very good service at reception; everything asked for was carried out promptly. Large room, very quiet (window went onto inner courtyard). Breakfast typical for north America...sweet stuff, but no cheese. But fresh fruits and orange juice as well as cereals.
