We found the room to be clean upon our arrival. Slight smell but clean. The hotel is just a block from the boardwalk. The area is not safe for women to walk around in the evening alone or in small groups.

The hotel itself is serviceable. I only stayed two nights. If you plan on staying in AC longer I would suggest someplace nicer in a nicer area. Neighborhood is suspect. We went to this hotel for a girls weekend getaway. The receptionist was extremely obnoxious and rude. We got a smoking room one when I requested a non smoking one. I went to Atlantic city for memorial weekend 2012 to see Beyonce perform at Revel. The room was clean, checkout time is 12pm but the price could have been cheaper but considering that it was a holiday weekend I can understand why it was pricey. Aside from the price, I don't have any complaints and would stay there again, if necessary.

We arrived early and the lady at the desk checked to see if a room was ready for us, but there wasn't, so we asked if we could keep our things there while we strolled the boardwalk, as we came by train and had nowhere to leave our things. She secured our luggage and told us to come back in a few hours when a room would be ready, which was still earlier […] than general check in time. We came back and checked in early. Anytime we needed info everyone who worked there was more than helpful. When we checked out our train wasn't for some time, so they kept our things for us again. This was our first time staying in such a cheap motel, but the service was much more friendly and helpful than at places we've spent 4 times as much to stay at lately. The bed and outside area of the room were clean. The bathroom was a different story. If you used the sink the water would leak onto the floor from the pipe underneath. When taking a shower , the water did not immediatly drain meaning you had to shower in your own water. There were several holes and cracks in the tile in the bathroom. Ya get what ya pay for. Me and some buddies of mine stayed for the weekend to gamble - only in the room to sleep.
