The location was great!!! That's about it!!! I booked 2 beds and got put in a room with one king size bed. The heater didn't work and the weather channel said it was 12 degrees the night I stayed there!!! The bathroom door did not close. The reception at this motel was great. They had such a cheerful and friendly staff who were very accommodating. The mini-fridge and microwave worked great and were clean. Otherwise the motel wasn't that great. Old uncomfortable beds, moldy shower/bathroom and dirty/worn towels. Just your typical Lake Tahoe run down motel.

Dreadful... everything. First, the jacuzzi situation: The listing says ,"Seasonal pool. Spa." I took this to mean that the Jacuzzi was indoors and available for use in January. WRONG. Change your wording to make it very clear that your Spa is ALSO seasonal. Second, the towel situation: We booked a room for four people. We paid extra to have four people […] (instead of two) in the room. However, we discovered we were given only two towels. When I called the front desk to ask for more towels, they insisted I come to the front desk to get two more towels. In the snow. CUSTOMER SERVICE FAIL. Finally, the breakfast situation: Please for the love of man do NOT advertise free breakfast if all you can offer is a ball of sugar, some sunny D and a pot of Folgers that tastes like it was brewed last week. Sugary mini muffins are NOT BREAKFAST. Especially for someone allergic to gluten!!! Some examples of simple things you could include in breakfast: Some fruit - bananas are a cheap option. Hard-boiled eggs - Some protein is nice. Instant oatmeal - just add hot water. Yogurt. Cereal bars. I've had plenty of useful breakfasts at cheaper places. I'm not asking for a cooked meal here, but sometimes that continental breakfast is all I'm getting to eat before I hit the slopes and a few mini muffins are not going to get me through the drive up the hill, let alone lunch. It is good value hotel to sleep between skiing. Minimum service. Carpet is cleaner then most of similar places in Tahoe area. Mini fridge is not a big deal in winter, microwave is nice to have. There was no hot water, tried to call for help, phone did not work, the iron board broken, and I got caught around the neck with a string drying off with bath towel that was obviously coming apart. The towels were dingy and hard. Disappointed.

Was a great choice to stay for doing a couple day hikes in Desolation Wilderness. They have rooms with 2 double beds, which comfortably sleep 4 people/ room making the price unbeatable:) Definition of "breakfast" was watery coffee and gross mini muffins.

Overall is satisfied. However, since they have a lot of room available, they don't need to arrange the entry one for us. We get a lot of interruption during night time, very noisy.

This was a very nice hotel, the room was good and the people were very courteous. This is also very close to the Lake. You can just walk to the Lake from this hotel. The room was very clean and organized. There are a lot of restaurants also close to the hotel for good food.

The place could use some upgrading. The outside carpet was worn/dirty & the bathtub was so-so. Microwave & refrigerator were a convenience. At the continental breakfast, the coffee wasn't too good and the orange juice seemed watery.

Bed was uncomfortable. Towels were inadequate and smelled burnt. Bathroom window had no screen and a see thru rag to cover it. A bright light showed thru the see-thru rag. Room was not dark. This place is badly in need of some small investment for clean up, repair, and maintenance. Blankets were old and dirty, the sink was clogged, the carpet is old and does not look clean. The bed was flat and too firm. But the hot tub inside the room biger than the one outside was amazing it fits up to four people with great jets. The breakfast was a joke only mini banana muffins, water down oj, and coffee.
