Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel - Richmond

It might not be a comment that everyone would like to read, however, still I would like to share this with my "fellow" travelers. In terms of the general fields stated above, I have to state that Sheraton Vancouver Airport is a nice hotel to stay - if you are not smoking, no need of free internet in the room, likes to eat out always and travel only […] by the shuttle bus. If you are a smoking businessmen who needs to drive a rental car and work over the internet in the room, sorry that you have to prepare for extra traveling expenses if to pick this hotel. Parking fee is CAD 19 a day, no free breakfast, internet fee another CAD 19 per day and there are at least 4 smoke detectors inside the room (3 in the bedroom and 1 in the washroom). Charge will be fined at CAD 250 if any of the smoke detectors is triggered. No even an ash tray can be found outside the hotel from Sheraton, only one from the Starbucks nearby. The service attendants throughout the hotel are professionally formal, following all the hotel regulations and I can't feel the friendlessness or warmth. It might be a typical image of a comparatively large hotel group. Anyway, personally I'm not going to choose hotel any more and might go for a less star rated motel next time in order to cope with my personal "bad' needs. Read more

This room did not meet Sheraton's usual quality standards. I feel I recieved a subpar room because it was through Hotels.com. and not paid for by cash or rentented directly through Sheraton. Our room was as far from the lobby as possible. The room had a very large crack in the ceiling, The carafe was totally missing from the coffee maker and the remote […] for the TV worked occasionally. This a very weak Sheraton I must say. Although it had a major renovation last year, the lobby and the room still gave me a Best Western feel. The elevator right next to the front desk was broken during the whole time we were there. So we had to walk a bit further to use another elevator. for the price of the room, it should include wi-fi. instead, i paid the fee to access it, and it didn't work the night i wanted to use it. i liked that they had a green incentive program (which i used) to reduce housekeeping visits/laundry etc.

From the pillowy soft beds to the friendly and helpful staff, this was overall an excellent stay. The room was very comfortable. I like that everything (sheets, duvet, bedspread, towels) were white as I could see how clean everything was. The complimentary shuttle to and from the airport is great because despite the hotel name, the hotel is located […] in the city of Richmond, a 15-20 min drive to the airport. It is located across from a full-scale mall and close to the Skytrain that will bring you to downtown within about 20 mins. There was a coffeemaker, hairdryer and small refrigerator in the room. Now for some peeves: as with most hotels, the remote was very sticky and slow making for a frustrating TV experience. I could hear doors closing/latching across the floor which was a bit noisy one night on the weekend. There is no complimentary breakfast buffet, but they did credit me $5 for every day I opted out of housekeeping. I could apply this voucher for breakfast at the very convenient Starbucks in the lobby. Lastly, I did see the $4.95 bottle of water upon my arrival...very tacky (they could easily make this complimentary). Other than these minor gripes I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Sheraton does it again! Pool, bar, well appointed rooms, great service, the best bed I've slept in. Across the street from a huge mall, lots of places to eat, skytrain 3 blocks away. Shuttle service to and from airport and shuttle to the casino puts it over the top.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton. Convenient shuttle service from the airport and back. Friendly efficient staff. Good food, clean facilities and a room tastefully decorated. My only complaint would be the noise two rooms or three rooms up from ours. My wife and I were in 219. Girls were giggling and laughing loudly around 11:30 pm and again at […] 5:30. Easy to get to from the airport, convenient shuttle, great room, great service, nice gym, close to the water and running trails. Vancouver accessible by sky train..go for it. I fyou decline room cleaning you get a 5$ vouvher for the restaurant, was there three nights and made my own bed, reused towels (greener) and got 15$ off at the restaurant.

Dit hotel voldeed volledig aan onze wensen. Net, ruime kamers (2volw+2 kind), zwembad, vriendelijke staff, dicht bij de luchthaven en gratis shuttle in het midden van de nacht. Restaurant was basis maar voldoende. Dit hotel lijkt ons niet geschikt om Vancouver te verkennen maar dat was ook niet onze bedoeling.

冬季五輪の後ということもあるでしょうか、重厚な家具で清掃も行き届いていました。最近整備されたと思われるモノレールでダウンタウンまで１５分～２０分くらいでアクセス可能で便利です。ホテル内にスターバックスコーヒーが入っています。近くにショッピングモールやスーパーなどもあり何かと便利でした。
