I love this hotel. We stay here everytime we are in the Chicago-land area. Comfortable, quiet, and updated rooms. Breakfast is delicious. Only minor issues was the TV in the bedroom was a bit jumbled and there was a slight odor on the 3rd floor hallway. Nothing a can of febreze couldn't get rid of.

When checking in we were asked if we wanted our four rooms to be placed together. We said yes. After checking the system, we were told that there was only one room available on each floor. I asked if at least two of the rooms could be close together. I was told no. When the last two rooms checked in, they were placed on the same floor - which was not what I had been told. It was my preference that the first two rooms to check in be close in proximity. Additionally, the elevator went out on Sunday when people were checking out, which meant luggage had to be hauled down the stairs. The rooms were nice, spacious. Hotel is currently under construction/renovationi though. We were told that there was no housekeeping during the weekend and yet we saw staff cleaning rooms both on Saturday and Sunday. Our group enjoyed the breakfast that was included with the hotel stay.

Every thing was great, check in was smooth, the room was clean and very roomy, full refrigerator, microwave and a two stove on the counter, and its not far from oak brook mall or york town. We have already claimed the Stay Bridge our home away from home spot, it was so worth the 2 day stay. And the free hot breakfast was a nice touch also!

Overall it was a great stay. Only negatives, which are very small, when we got to the room, we didn't have remote for the TV and the buttons on the TV didn't work so we had to call the desk for a remote, not a big deal. It also seemed like they were renovating the second floor of the hotel, other than the dumpster outside and a few tarps, you never would have known they were doing work. Room was magnificent, clean, large, had everything you could ask for. I would encourage anyone to stay here. We plan on staying here again next time we are in Chicago.

I have stayed here frequently over recent months. On this particular visit, I booked through hotels.com and decided to pay an extra $10, to get the "deluxe suite". I was surprised when I was checking in, he remarked "I see you prepaid through hotels.com", and then put me in the smallest "suite" (smaller than any of the suites in which my family and I had previously stayed). It was a disability room next to the dumpster and pile of renovation trash piles (a mountain of old dressers under tarps in the parking lot and a side yard of discarded sinks and countertops). I went back and spoke with the guy at the counter, and despite being there very early (less than an hour after the check-in time on a Friday afternoon) he claimed there weren't any better rooms available, and he was quick to deny that he'd put me in that room because I'd booked through hotels.com. I asked and he did not know what made that particular suite a "deluxe suite". But he did go on to tell me that the "deluxe suite" I had booked on hotels.com isn't any different that the "standard suite" that is/was also avaiable. Anyway, that was the last time I will stay there. So please save your $10, and know that they sure seem to stick people who book through hotels.com in their worst remaining rooms.

My two college aged kids and I took a quick getaway to Chicago for a spring break shopping trip. The price was right! The facilities were very nice. My son however, said the sofa bed was far less than comfortable...his word was 'awful'. Other than that, it was a delight. I would not hesitate to stay again!

Was just in for one night - had business nearby and the hotel was quite convenient. They offer a good breakfast buffet in the morning and they also offer a limited dinner service which is a nice touch. The room was quite nice and very comfortable. If we get the contract we would certainly stay there again.

My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend. Our room was beautiful! Everything we needed in our room was used. We had a studio suite and it was very cozy! Breakfast was great! We would definitely stay here again! Only small issue DVD in our room did not work.

My husband and I rented a queen suite for the new. My husband had nevr stayed at a hotel that had a kitchenette. He was really impressed at the overall size of the appliances and cleanliness. We loved our stay and will definitely stay again..

It used to be $15~$25 for a pet. But, they charge $75/night now. There was no hot breakfast because a worker did not show up -- don't they have a backup plan? We used to stay here for many years, but this might be the last, I guess.

Our daughter and family had just arrived from Europe. with 2 small children, After a 10+ hour flight a 4 + hour drive in poor weather would have been bad for the children. Staybridge Suites gave us an affordable comfortable place to spend a night letting everyone to get some needed rest.

This is one of our favorite places to stay in the suburban Chicago area. It's convenient to all the places we visit, has excellent rooms, fine breakfast, and very friendly, accommodating staff. When we checked in, an air vent was stuck open, allowing cold air to come into the room. When we reported it, a staff member came immediately, and transferred us to another room, no hassle. There was every effort to make us comfortable.

I enjoyed my stay. while booking my main concern was having a oven, which hotel.com told me that each rm came with an oven which was not true. but I was accommodated with a toaster oven. I had a slumber party for my child and need the oven to bake cookies with the children.

Have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and have always enjoyed my stays but the property is starting to show signs of high volume wear. Nothing major but little things here and there. Carpeting, overall cleanliness. Booked this through Hotels.com for what was to be a non-smoking room only to find out that the reservation indicated that a non-smoking was not guaranteed. Missed that on the fine print I guess as the hotel only had smoking rooms available. when I checked in. Made several attempts to get the front desk to correct this was told that it was not guaranteed and there was nothing they could do. Booking was already paid for so I was stuck. Hotels.com did issue an inconvienence voucher but spent the night in a room where everything had smoke smell residue. Disappointed with hotel property and the way front desk handled it especially since I have been a frequent guest. Will simply stay elsewhere for my next visit to the area where I won't be placed in a "stuck" mode.

Normally this property is very attentive to maintenance and housekeeping. This time however, over a three day stay the in-room coffee service was never updated leaving me with decaf on day two and no coffee at all on day three. While I'm at it, I might as well also point out that all three morning breakfasts offered scrambled eggs or pre-made cheese omelets and all were universally burned black - more than half of the product. While I don't look for perfection in a free breakfast offering, this was product I would not have offered my customers. Some lack of attention to detail is happening here and if left unchecked, this property will not stay my "go to" hotel in the Chicago suburban area. Too much healthy competition for this property to have any allusions that they can't lose patrons. Come on guys...you're better than this!

I booked a non-smoking room. I did not receive this and was told that it was not a guarantee. I sure looked like it on my booking and receipts. Staff was rude and non apologetic about this. Wouldn't stay here again.

I think the hotel could of provided a pool, bar and a better fitness center.breakfast buffet was aweful!!!!!

Unfortunately, we do not have some of the amenities you were looking for. We do not offer a pool or bar, but our service is spectacular. I am disappointed to hear you did not enjoy our full breakfast buffet. Usually, we get many compliments on the variety of eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, cereal, waffles, fruit and much more. Stay again and I bet you will love it.

I was greeted by very friendly staff, a beautiful hotel and a very clean, well - appointed room. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful - hot breakfast with a good variety of food choices. The full kitchen in the room was a must and I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. It sure makes life easier to be able to cook!. The free shuttle service was perfect for getting to the train into Chicago. The fitness facility was small, but clean ( it was like a sauna due to sharing the space with the laundry ) Free laundry!!!! They had tues, weds and thurs nights socials with food and drinks....Fun! I will stay here next time I visit the Chicago area and am recommending to friends and family.

The beds were quite comfortable, but the sofa bed was the most uncomfortable sofa bed I've ever been on. Also, our room was straightened up after our first night.

Cleanness was not good. Did not have a safety box, and did not have cleaning service in the weekends, which was not included in hotel description in Expedia. Cleaning service when available was poor. We were sent to smoking rooms without prior advise because the hotel was full. Very bad experience for the first night. The rest of the stay was ok.

Did not get the king room that i requested on hotels.com. Was told they didnt have any more king rooms??? Why did i see available online and pay for it then, bogus response. Rooms were clean and nice at this location. Guest services needs some training on how to answer questions without the feeling i got to stay somewhere else.

Except for the manager who checked us in this would have gotten a very higher review. She believes she is being clever and yet she is very insulting to the customer by not simply answering the question asked. When one asks a question, one hopes to get a reasonably polite response and she simply should NOT be on the front desk. She thinks she is being clever but it is in POOR taste. Perhaps she could use more training on ow to meet and greet customers..
